AI was used solely for translation and localization purposes (store page and in-game text).
During the development of Days Of Reckoning, generative artificial intelligence is used as a supportive tool in certain parts of production. AI has been used primarily for: creating visual references and concept ideas assisting with marketing materials (e.g., text, scripts) experimenting with certain audio or atmospheric elements All content included in the final version of the game is reviewed, refined, and approved by the developer. Generative AI is not used to generate content in real time during gameplay and does not directly influence gameplay mechanics or in-game systems.
We are a team of two developers with a limited budget, so we use AI to assist with certain illustration assets, such as character portraits, icons, and backgrounds. However, all core game assets—including UI HUD and UI interface, enemy 3D models and animations, weapons, and environments are created by the two developers themselves.
Generative AI tools may be used during development to assist with translations for supported languages. These translations may appear as in-game text. The game does not use live-generated AI content during gameplay.
AI assets are used as placeholders during the development of the game, being replaces trough freelancer work until release.
Thunder Infinity was developed by a single person with no resources or financial support. The artwork for the project was produced by generative AI under strict artistic guidelines. In the future, if the game is well-received and sells well, a redesign by professional artists could be considered.
This title uses generative AI for part of its localization process. AI-generated translation drafts are reviewed and edited by the developer before implementation. No content is dynamically generated by generative AI during gameplay.
Art and Visual Assets: The game’s visual assets, including character designs, backgrounds, and UI elements, were pre-generated using AI tools. These assets were then curated and stylized to fit a unique comic-book aesthetic. Code and Development: Portions of the game's underlying code and systems were developed with the assistance of AI-powered coding tools. Quality Control: All AI-generated content has been thoroughly reviewed and edited by the developer to ensure it does not contain any infringing or illegal material and meets the game's quality standards.
Some of the images are generated by AI, they are only cosmetic and do not affect the gameplay.
We use AI tools only for the proper translations
Some of the music tracks in this game were initially generated using AI tools and then manually edited and refined by a human composer.
This game was developed with AI assistance for visual assets, sound effects, localization, and code. All AI-generated content was pre-generated during development and reviewed by the developer. No real-time AI content generation occurs during gameplay.
Generative AI was used to create the cover art and capsule images for the Steam store page.
AI assisted with sound, graphics and code.
Generative AI was used during development only for early ideation and reference purposes. All final in-game assets, visuals, audio, writing, and gameplay content were created manually and are not AI-generated. The game does not use any live-generated AI content.
I feel the AI tag for my game is not actually reasonable. i tried to explain myself to steam and to stop forcing me to set this AI toggle but the automated system is forcing me to say i used AI
I am a single developer. AI is used to speed up some processes, some marketing and concept materials are made with AI as a base to improve on and deliver better game. There are optional AI soundtracks in the game.
This game uses artificial intelligence tools during development. AI was used to assist in generating certain visual assets, including promotional graphics and background elements. All AI-generated content was reviewed, modified, and approved by the developer. AI is not used during gameplay. The game does not generate content dynamically and does not use AI to interact with players.
D.E.C.A.Y. has been developed by a single developer for over two years. Nearly all of the game’s content has been created by hand - from the environment to many objects inspired by real-world prototypes, helping make the world feel more atmospheric and alive. Only a small number of images and certain visual elements were created using generative AI tools.
AI assist us with idea generation for artwork + assets used in some artwork. We use AI code completion to help us with development of the game.
This game uses generative AI tools for the creation of some non-gameplay content, including portions of promotional artwork, visual concepts, and certain localized translations. All gameplay systems, programming, game design, balancing, and the final integration of assets are created and curated by the developer. AI-generated content is reviewed, edited, and refined before being used in the game or store materials.
AI is being used only on promotional materials of the game as such as posters, banners.
This project is being developed by a small two-person team. The use of AI tools in this project is strictly limited to the following assets: - flag textures - selected marketing assets and voice lines We plan to replace these elements with fully original, custom-created assets and professionally recorded voice acting as soon as funding allows. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team to ensure consistency and quality.
Store page localizations, in-game subtitles and localizations.
Audio for the characters in cut-scenes and in-game voice-overs has been generated using AI generated audio with the tools provided by Replica studios and Animaker. Everything is pre-recorded, no real-time audio generation in-game.
Some translations and text are AI generated
As a small indie team, we may use procedural and/or AI-based tools to assist with the development process. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.
Some Menu items that I had trouble with re doing again
Used ai to improve graphics in store and in the game.
Hey everyone! To bring this game to life, I've used AI tools to generate the game icon, some marketing materials, and rune holder portraits. These were refined by hand for style consistency. The core gameplay, code, and design are all my original work - hope you enjoy the results!
Generative AI was used to create descriptions and weapon icons
Development uses AI tools as coding assistants to optimize scripts and refactor systems. Some UI icons and graphic elements may have been generated or iterated with AI assistance, but all were manually reviewed and edited to ensure final quality.
Some artworks and voiceovers were created with AI assistance and enchanced per me. As a solo developer, this helps me save time so I can focus more on fun gameplay quality, balance, and polishing.
Some images in the game were created using AI.
AI was used to assist in drafting, refining, and translating the store page's Short Description and Long Description. This was done to ensure better readability, clarity, and grammatical accuracy for players. The final content was reviewed, edited, and approved by the developer to ensure it accurately reflects the gameplay experience. As well as assisting in the creation of some 2D UI elements and icons.

AI is used to generate some Steam store page assets, as well as some in-game icons and typography.
Code with AI
AI was used to assist with localization for languages other than English and Polish.
The game itself was developed without the use of generative AI. During the development and release process, we may use AI-based tools to assist with the creation of certain store marketing materials (such as Steam banners). In all such cases, the final materials reflect the creativity and expression of our own development team.
During the development process, AI-based tools are utilized to assist with the creation of visual content only. In all such cases, these tools serve strictly as a support mechanism, and the final product remains a direct reflection of the developer's original vision, design, and standards.

Because I'm developing this game solo, I use generative to iterate quickly and rapidly produce content.
This game uses AI-generated content during development, including some pre-rendered voice acting and textures. AI was also used to assist in the creation of certain promotional artwork. No AI-generated content is created dynamically during gameplay, and players do not interact with AI systems during play.
Only certain visual assets such as the cover art, banners, and installation icons were created using AI. No in-game content, gameplay elements, or narrative assets were generated with AI.
Some visual assets used in the store page and in-game presentation were initially created with the assistance of AI-based tools and were subsequently manually edited, refined, and integrated by the developer. AI tools were used only as part of the early creative workflow (such as concept exploration or base imagery). All final assets were curated, modified, and approved by a human developer. No AI-generated content is created dynamically at runtime, and AI is not used to generate gameplay logic, player interactions, or in-game decisions.
As a self taught solo dev, I use ai to learn about new way to create and improve my coding skills. So part of my knowledge comes from ai and while writing code I get a second opinion from ai to know if there are better ways to go about it and better myself.
