This game utilizes generative AI to assist in creating select art assets, with all content refined and quality-checked by human developers.
Our team uses generative AI tools to assist with parts of the game's artwork, including some in-game art and store page images, and with first-pass translation of in-game text. All AI-assisted art and translations are reviewed, edited, and finalized by our team. Music and sound effects do not use AI. We hold the necessary rights to all content shipped in this game. No content is generated by AI at runtime.
Blind Spot's writing, art, audio, and design were created without generative AI. AI was used in one area: localization. Every language was handled identically. All in-game dialogue was translated entirely by human translators, with no AI involvement at any stage. The interface text, some menu text, options, and other short UI strings were given an AI first pass, which the same human translators then reviewed and corrected language by language before it shipped. No AI-generated art, audio, or gameplay content appears in the game.
AI generative tools were used to create some 2D art assets used in the game
Some music, graphics and a little bit of code
Generative AI was used to assist with the processing and enhancement of some images for atmospheric purposes. These images were then manually retouched and further edited by the developer before being used in the game.
Generative AI was used for some textures and 3D models, as well as for English translation of both the game and its Steam store page. All original content, including the story, dialogue, archive documents, game design, level design, programming, and Chinese localization, was created by the developer.
AI was used to generate some textures
Generative AI was used to assist in creating pre-generated visual assets for the game and its promotional materials, including character artwork and event illustrations. It was also used to assist with portions of the game's text and localization. All included content was reviewed and curated by the developer. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
Generative AI tools were used during the creation of some art assets and code.
The game's voiceover and logo were created using AI.
Some character graphics and backgrounds were created with the assistance of generative AI tools.
The images and music are 100% AI generated but the story is 100% human generated.
Some visual assets were partially created with the help of generative AI. It was used as a reference for a few alpha brushes, clothing patterns, and some card designs. No output was used as-is — everything was heavily modified and finished by hand. All other content in the game was created entirely by the developer.
In this game, players converse with characters via free-form text input. Responses are text generated by AI and will vary depending on the player's input.
This game includes a small amount of generative AI content used only for optional tutorial and demonstration materials. These pre‑generated, G‑rated assets illustrate how the game’s IN‑OUT‑based timing loop works. They do not appear in normal gameplay and do not influence any game systems. All core mechanics, visuals, audio, and interactive content are fully handcrafted and do not use AI generation during play.
The voices in the game were generated by AI, following scripts written by hand.
Placeholder art assets for the demo are ai-generated, but will be replaced with human art at the earliest reasonable opportunity.
AI is used in programming this game.
Dragon Soul: Awakening is a solo-developed game that uses generative AI as one of many creative tools during development. The logo, some backgrounds, character sprites, UI elements, and music were created using AI-assisted workflows alongside original writing, design, editing, and human-created artwork. Some AI-assisted assets currently serve as placeholders during development and will be replaced before the full release.
AI-assisted tools were used during the development of DarkDice in the following ways: Code development — AI coding assistants helped write and refactor portions of the game's codebase. Text editing — AI tools were used to proofread, polish, and tighten narrative and UI copy. Localization & Editing — AI is used to assist with the translation, text expansion, polishing, and style adjustment of game text between English and Chinese (Traditional/Simplified). Image generation — Some visual assets (case artwork, promotional images) were created using AI image-generation tools. No content is generated in real time during gameplay — every case is a fixed, pre-authored story; nothing changes between playthroughs.
The background images featured in the game were created using AI. Some of the images used in the in-game UI were generated using AI. The in-game background music (BGM) was created using AI.
* Some artwork was created with reference to concept images generated by generative AI * Language localization
Generative AI was used in the development of this game. The background art and character illustrations were created with an image generation model; all images were selected, edited, and processed by the developer. The story text and game logic were drafted and implemented with a large language model, with the developer directing the story and scene design, reviewing and approving all content, and requesting revisions. No generative AI runs at runtime during gameplay.
Since all the content of the code was completed by the producer alone, it was inevitable to use AI for bug maintenance.
Ward 9 uses developer-curated generative AI tools during production for selected marketing/community artwork, narrative drafting support, and voice/audio asset creation. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and approved by the developer before inclusion. The game does not use live generative AI to create player-facing content during gameplay.
Some background music tracks were generated using Suno AI. All other assets are human-made. No AI-generated content is created live during gameplay.
Symbiosis: Criticality's narrative and dialogue were developed with the assistance of generative AI as part of an iterative, human-directed writing process. All in-game art, audio, and code were authored directly by the development team.
Yayoi Kaihatsu, the developer, takes full responsibility for the use of generative AI in this work. If any issues arise regarding the use of generative AI in this work, please contact the representative of Yayoi Kaihatsu via the Steam Community or other channels. Some in-game artwork, including assets shown in screenshots and store capsules, was created by modifying AI-generated imagery. All AI-assisted content was created and reviewed in advance, and no generative AI runs during gameplay.
AI tools were used as part of the game's visual production and post-production workflow. The game's 3D assets, environments, characters, animations, and scenes are created and rendered by the developer. AI is primarily used to upscale lower-resolution renders to higher resolutions, helping reduce rendering time while maintaining the desired visual quality. In some cinematic sequences, AI-assisted tools are also used as part of the production process. Additionally, AI may be used for certain visual corrections, modifications, or minor fixes to rendered images instead of re-rendering an entire scene. AI is therefore used as a supporting tool in the development and post-production process, while the overall artistic direction, 3D production, scene creation, rendering, and final implementation are handled by the developer.
Generative AI was used to assist with parts of this game's localization.
Some visual assets used in the game and its promotional materials were created with the assistance of generative AI. The game does not generate AI content at runtime.
Some of MORTAROT's visual assets were created with the assistance of generative AI image tools and then edited, composited, and refined by hand by the artist. Some interface text and the English localization were drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the team. AI coding assistants were also used during development. All AI-generated content has been reviewed to ensure that it does not contain infringing or illegal material.

Generative AI was used to create two logo graphics used in the game's branding, user interface, and marketing materials.
There are several AI generated models, and their textures. Which will likely continue to be the only AI use in the game, other than the use of AI for coding help. But this game is far from "vibe coded." There is no AI generated text, and will never be. There are currently no AI generated sounds, there may be a few added depending on achievability without. The text will always and forever be written by a human, me, Andrew Labreck. As the story is the driving factor for me making this entire game. Likely, the music will continue to be human produced as well.
The character voices in this game were generated using artificial intelligence (AI). No character visuals, animations, or other game assets were generated using AI.
Generative AI tools were used during the creation of some soundtracks for the game. All AI-generated audio assets have been carefully selected, reviewed, and edited to align with the game's atmosphere and aesthetic.
This game contains pre-generated AI content in its visual assets. The following were created with AI image generation tools during development: • Character portraits and background art: Midjourney niji7 • CG cutscene images: Kling AI • Top-down pixel art sprites: ComfyUI (Stable Diffusion XL) • Store page capsule images: Midjourney niji7 All AI-generated assets have been commercially licensed, manually reviewed, and post-processed by the development team.
