Public Steam disclosure research 25,497 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI has been used as an assistive technology to assist with creation of some minor textures.
The development of The Utopian Project makes limited use of AI-assisted tools during early production, primarily for concept exploration and background asset iteration. All final content is curated, reviewed, and integrated by the development team.
Some music is AI generated. Writing is also checked by AI. Some art is also AI generated and personalized after.
In The Final Shuffle, we incorporated AI-generated content for specific elements, including capsule images, library assets, and the game icon.

The game to contain art assets generated by artificial intelligence
Some content on this page and in the game was developed with the help of AI tools.
Portions of the game's visual assets and certain development assistance were created with the support of generative AI tools. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer to ensure consistency with the game's artistic direction and quality standards.
Generative AI tools were utilized during the development process to create base assets for certain environmental textures, prop designs, and auxiliary texts. All AI-assisted contents have been manually refined and edited by the developer to fit the game's unique atmosphere and artistic vision.
Generative AI tools were used during the development process to assist with coding and debugging. Additionally, AI tools were utilized to create and edit certain visual assets for the user interface (UI) and store page marketing materials. All content generated or modified by AI has been manually reviewed and finalized by the developer.
Generative artificial intelligence was utilized to enhance specific loading screen images and to aid in text translation for localization purposes.
Support with build, code refactoring etc.
AI is used as an assistant for coding, writing, and translation. All AI‑generated materials are manually reviewed, and most are manually edited before inclusion in the game.
The game cover and introduction and game icons use AI
Some store capsule, library, and marketing artwork were generated using AI tools and then manually edited by the developer. No AI-generated content is used during gameplay, and the game does not generate AI content live while running.
Generative AI was used for the production of SOME art assets. Some are completely handmade, Some are almost entirely AI with additional human editing. This normally varies by game where one will have lots of AI and one will be completely handmade. Art assets refer to images and music. No AI ever runs during runtime.
The voice actors are A.I. generated.
Some visual artwork and promotional assets were generated using AI tools. All AI-generated content was reviewed, curated, and integrated into the game by the developer.
All audio and music assets used in the game are either original, licensed, or created specifically for the project. Any AI-assisted content has been significantly edited, processed, and combined with original elements to ensure uniqueness and originality. No AI-generated assets are used directly without human modification. All content is reviewed to ensure it does not infringe on copyrighted material.
We use generative AI tools to create and iterate on certain marketing visuals (e.g., concept mockups and promotional graphics). These assets are reviewed and refined by our team before publication, and AI is not used to generate in-game content or gameplay-critical assets.
Used in some images
This game uses generative AI to create dynamic in-game dialogue (e.g., radio/operator lines) during gameplay. The player does not provide free-form text input; prompts are system-controlled. Outputs are filtered to avoid disallowed content (hate, sexual content, extreme violence, personal data). AI-generated dialogue is thematic and does not imitate real people.
We use AI tools to assist in development strictly for: 1.Writing boilerplate code and handling repetitive tasks. 2.Adjusting and refining our original texture assets. 3.Polishing the script and text. All content is manually reviewed and finalized by the team.
This game and its promotional video utilize AI-generated images created with Adobe Firefly.
This game uses generative AI tools during development to create certain pre-rendered visual assets. These include some in-game visual elements such as icons, UI-related graphics, and visual assets, as well as store page and promotional materials. No generative AI is used during gameplay. The game does not generate content, visuals, text, audio, or code in real time using AI. All gameplay logic, behavior, and systems are fully authored and deterministic.
AI is only used to accelerate development
AI-based voice conversion is used for a single cameo character to respectfully recreate and restore the voice of a deceased person from archival recordings, while all dialogue is written manually.
AI assisted tooling has been used sparingly during the creation of some in-game content: Music, textures
Since this game is older than “Reflection Of Sin”, I was inexperienced when it came to finding good ambient music. For this reason, I used AI to create ambient music in only a few levels.
Artificial intelligence was used to create some interface icons, all voice acting (English and Russian), as well as for text translation. All other content was created manually.
Some textures have been generated or upscaled using AI tools. Some NPC voices have been generated with AI. Some icons have been generated with AI.
Generative AI tools were used during development for early prototyping only. No AI-generated content ships in the game or is consumed by players, and no content is generated at runtime.
For the non-English versions of this game, we have used AI to generate the translations.
Store Page Capsule Images are highlighted using Artificial Intelligence.
DLSS, default voice over and background music.
AI Usage: very few 3D models
Generative AI tools were utilized during the development of The Bliss to assist with initial script brainstorming, technical troubleshooting, and the creation of minor 2D artwork elements. All AI-assisted content was heavily modified, edited, and curated by the development team to align with the game's strict artistic vision. (Note: Any 3D AI-generated assets were used strictly as temporary placeholders during prototyping and have been completely replaced by human-crafted models in the final release).
This game has AI generated music.
During the dialogue sequences, the characters avatar representations have been created using AI image generation tools based on original 3D images of the in-game models
AI assisted tools were used during development to help create some assets, all of which were reviewed and finalized by the developer. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay, and players cannot input prompts or create AI-generated material.
Can have Stock Icons or Covers AI generated Content included
We used AI to generate the main banner for the game.
The AI is used in game to generate some props (small in-game objects models which make environment look more authentic. The AI is NOT USED for any of the major game features, narrative or important visuals
This game uses AI-generated content during development, including some pre-rendered voice acting and textures. AI was also used to assist in the creation of certain promotional artwork. No AI-generated content is created dynamically during gameplay, and players do not interact with AI systems during play.
Spaceship announcer voice lines
All character voices were generated by AI during development. Some graphic resources were generated by AI in the case of posters
Background music is AI-generated.
This game used artificial intelligence tools during the development process to create some text, music, sound effects, and 3D models. All content generated by artificial intelligence is not subject to copyright. However, artificial intelligence is not used to generate content or code in real time during gameplay.
Atheris is developed by a very small independent studio. Due to limited resources, we occasionally rely on generative AI tools for specific visual elements, such as some in-game illustrations, assets and marketing materials. These tools are used thoughtfully and selectively, always under human direction, to preserve a cohesive artistic vision. We value transparency, and we encourage players to consider this information when deciding whether the game is right for them.
