Public Steam disclosure research 25,383 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Some code and design decisions, aswell as store page assets were lightly assisted by AI tools. All game logic and implementation were written, reviewed, and tested by the developer.
AI was used to create some of the pictures and 3d models.
Some images in this game were created using generative AI.
Most of the soundtrack is generated by AI.
This game was developed entirely by a solo developer. To make such an ambitious project possible, select elements were assisted by AI tools. These include AI-generated artwork for icons (like weapon skills, perks, and achievements) and machine-assisted translations for all supported languages except English, which was fully written by hand. All gameplay systems, story, level design, and character behavior were handcrafted without AI involvement.
Artificial Intelligence was generated in the creation of certain in-game graphics and marketing banners, and there may also be some AI-generated dialogue in the game.
SI was used to edit some images
I used AI to generate the title art for the game. That is it.
Some of the audio in this game is AI-generated.
AI tools were used only to assist with enhancement of some store page promotional images. The game itself does not use generative AI for gameplay, content creation, or code.
Enemy ships are controlled by a transformer neural network trained to play the game.
It was used to create 2 graphic elements that were heavily edited by hand that are used as symbols on the main menu and on the store page capsule art. That is the entire extent of AI usage.
An AI tool (DALL·E or similar) was used to generate the "Unity to Survive" title image used in the game's UI. No AI-generated content appears in the gameplay or story content.
Some images, especially the erotic artwork, were created using AI as a visual supplement to the game. I chosed to use AI-generated visuals as it allowed me to dedicate more time and budget to what truly matters - funny and long gameplay.
During the development process; generative AI tools were used for creation of certain 2D visuals (such as posters scattered around the city, UI icons etc.). In such cases these assets were later modified by our art team to reflect our own artistic and creative vision.
Artificial intelligence was used for a very limited number of in-game assets, such as textures, icons, and audio.

Using AI models for generating pictures, 3d models e.t.c
Some in-game images and music were generated and assisted by AI technology.
AI was used to create the logo
The game uses AI to help generate expressive character illustrations and detailed background art in a consistent visual style. This allows for a rich, immersive atmosphere and a wide variety of emotional expressions. The narrative and dialogue were carefully crafted and enhanced with AI assistance to ensure tone and personality stay intact throughout the story.
AI was used for graphical inspiration as appropriate.
Some of the placeholder assets are AI generated
Some item icons have been generated and for better sentence structure.
Some 3D models use AI technology: The 3D models of the monsters encountered during battles were created using AI modeling technology.
Our game uses generative AI exclusively for creating synthetic sounds and voiceovers. These AI-generated audio elements are entirely artificial and are not based on or identifiable with any real individual. We do not use AI for gameplay, narrative, or character design—only for enhancing the audio experience.
Artificial intelligence helped create some of the basic graphics and sounds in the game. It was not used for the game code. We plan to use AI for future promotions and for entertaining content for the community and fans of the game.
DuoQ. uses on-device transcription, activated by the player via push-to-talk, to transcribe the player's voice. That transcription is sent directly to a cloud LLM, which tells Tala what action to take next. All transcription data is discarded immediately after use.
During the development of this game, AI tools were used to assist with brainstorming and some scripting support. However, all game content, design, and decisions were fully created and controlled by human developers.
In-game cards, decorative decals and textures were created using AI tools during development. No AI is used during gameplay.
Some gen-AI was used to help with parts of the story trailer and for the artwork of the game. All assets in the game are human-made, no gen-ai involved there. The "AI" in the name of the game is lore-driven, there's no actual gen-AI in game.
Some background textures include AI-generated content. There is nothing that is being generated live in real-time by Al.
We leverage AI technology to compose the music for our game, creating unique and immersive soundscapes tailored to the gameplay experience.

As a very small indie team, we embrace artificial intelligence as a supportive tool in our creative process, while carefully respecting artists and their work. We use AI only as reference material to inspire and inform our designs, never as a replacement for human creativity. This thoughtful approach to AI assistance helps our indie studio deliver quality game design despite limited resources, allowing us to focus our passion where it matters most. Without the large teams or budgets of major studios, this balanced collaboration between human artistry and responsible AI use enables us to refine our distinctive style and solve design challenges efficiently. The result is a lovingly crafted experience that maintains our unique creative vision while honoring the artistic community that inspires us.
AI is used for some artwork images before being reworked or changed. All AI art is reviewed and cleared before being used in any form.
