Public Steam disclosure research 25,508 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Chat GPT was used to bounce ideas and assist with select scripts
Only a small number of placeholder sound effects, assets, and promotional illustrations are used in the game. They will be gradually replaced with original handmade content not generated by AI. All core assets of the game are handmade.
AI was used during development to do spelling correction, translation and to generate some elements of scenery.
In the development of our game, we incorporated AI tools to enhance various aspects of the creative process. Our game uses generative models for creating and editing images, sound mixing, and text translation. These AI tools were utilized to improve quality and efficiency, allowing the development team to concentrate on crafting the narrative, gameplay, and overall design. The AI played a supportive role, assisting with technical tasks while the core vision and creative direction were driven by the team.
ok , it is just used for creating some images for game , in the store page for graphic assets , and logo , this kind of things , no more , thanks
We used AI to create the capsules and library logos for the game's store page. The voices in the trainer and customer dialogues were created using artificial intelligence.
Generative Artificial Intelligence has been partially used to produce the promo art of the game (i.e. the image used to promote the game). The in-game content has been produced from scratch by 3D artists, game designers and developers. Only some audio content (i.e. the voice of the robot) has been prerecorded by using AI generative tools.
The background images and animal pictures are pre-rendered AI art
In this game, artifical intelligence is only used so as to create images.
Some of the images were generated by Midjourney, but were later adapted manually by the game developer; all the background musics were generated by Suno AI.

Creation of Graphics Assets
In our ongoing effort to bring you a unique and immersive gaming experience, we’ve integrated AI-assisted tools into the creation of some of our in-game art. These tools have been used to inspire and enhance the visual style of our game, helping to generate distinct and creative elements that complement our hand-crafted assets. By utilizing AI, we’ve been able to explore new artistic possibilities, ensuring that our game features a vibrant and visually compelling world. However, every AI-assisted asset has been carefully reviewed, refined, and curated by our development team to align with our artistic vision and maintain a cohesive aesthetic throughout the game. Our primary goal is to deliver a game that is both visually stunning and enjoyable, and AI has been one of the many tools we've used to achieve that. We hope you enjoy the result as much as we enjoyed creating it!
The backgrounds of the game's start screen and pick screen were pre-generated by me via AI, and some of the in-game icons were generated by the author via AI. Yes, we used AI tools in a limited capacity during the development of our game. Specifically, AI was utilized for certain aspects of the game's text, such as crafting the Steam page description, and for some pieces of code. However, the core development, design, and creative processes were driven by our team(me). The use of AI was supplementary, aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency, rather than shaping the core elements of the game.
The game uses Luma AI for model creation and Stable Diffusion for textures.
AI has been used for creating various icons for the game, as much as possible is created by hand.
AI was used for some art in the game as a proof of concept. These elements will be updated in the future.
For the development of The Broken Mirror (Xuru Engine Edition), we have integrated advanced generative AI workflows to enhance the atmospheric Noir experience. Environment & Visual Arts: Environmental assets and backgrounds have been conceptualized and generated using AI, then manually refined and stylized in high-contrast black and white to achieve a unique 'graphic novel' aesthetic. Audio Experience: Soundtrack and atmospheric sound effects were developed with AI assistance to create a deep, immersive psychological thriller mood. Human Oversight: All AI-assisted content has been curated, edited, and directed by our lead developer. The core narrative, character arcs, complex puzzle design, and final assembly are 100% original human creations, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality artistic vision.
Illustrations and UI visual elements were created with the assistance of AI tools and subsequently refined and optimized manually. Portions of the text were developed based on suggestions from Large Language Models (LLMs) and underwent final manual review and stylistic polishing by the developer.
