Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game includes some pre-generated visual assets created or assisted with generative AI (including certain promotional images on the Steam store page and library).
All AI-generated content is static and was reviewed and edited by the development team before release.
The game does not generate AI content in real time during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services while playing.
This game uses AI-generated images for all in-game graphics, promotional materials, and store page assets (with the exception of some licensed UI icons). All generated graphics have been manually reviewed. Additionally, AI (Google Gemini) was used as a development tool to assist with writing code and designing game mechanics. However, the final game runs entirely offline and does not contain any live-generating AI systems.
Some visual assets in this game were created with the assistance of generative AI tools, specifically the store page capsule artwork and the title sequence logo image. All gameplay, level design, code, and audio were created by the developer.
AI is used to generate some Steam store page assets, as well as some in-game icons and typography. All 3D assets and visual effects in the game are handcrafted and contain no AI-generated content.
This game includes AI-assisted visual content, including character portraits and promotional assets. All content has been significantly modified, reviewed, and curated by the developer to ensure originality and avoid resemblance to any real individuals. The game does not depict or reference real persons.
The Steam store page banners and promotional creatives for the app were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. The in-game assets were either created manually or edited afterwards, but the visual materials used for marketing (such as header images, capsules, and promotional banners) include AI-generated elements.
Generative AI was used to create a few very specific, minor promotional images and texture enhancements. Everything else; including plane textures, sprites, UI, and airport layouts, was entirely hand crafted by a single human developer using free editing tools like GIMP, Canva, PowerPoint, and MSPaint.
Generative AI was used to assist in the creation of certain pre-rendered store assets and promotional images for the Steam store page. No generative AI is used during gameplay, and the game does not rely on live AI-generated content.
AI tools were used in a supporting role during the development of this game. Specifically, AI was used to assist with parts of the localization process, the creation of some UI concepts and UI elements, and coding support such as drafting and organizing code. All final review, editing, implementation, and quality control were performed by the developer.
Some visual and textual elements of this game were initially created using generative artificial intelligence tools as part of the development process. All content has subsequently been reviewed, edited, and manually refined by the team to ensure its quality, consistency, and suitability for the final game experience.
The promotional video visuals, character portrait concepts, and trailer voiceovers for this game were assisted by generative AI tools (such as Midjourney and ElevenLabs). All AI-generated assets have been strictly curated, manually edited, and composited by the developer to ensure they match the game's creative vision.
AI is used to create codes for the game, also used to create some graphical elements, like usage of upscayl to create larger map, some character may also created with ai. Texture etc is hand made, (see full disclosure in credits page within the game, this page also available in demo)
This app utilized AI to use CSS styling and java-script to make the application feel more modern. such as creating UI icons like the trash bin icons, navigation slide bars, and stylizing features. It was also used to resize and upscale the main Ghost Vault logo and store image assets.
Some in-game audio content, such as radio dialogue and in-game radio music may be generated using artificial intelligence tools. These elements are used to enhance immersion and provide dynamic environmental storytelling.
All gameplay systems, mechanics, and core content are designed and implemented by the developer.
Pre-rendered AI tools were used to generate the base artwork for the Steam store page capsule images and marketing materials. All generated assets were manually edited and combined in image editing software.
During development, AI tools were used to assist with code generation, debugging, and drafting of game documentation. Voice callouts were generated using AI text-to-speech and processed with radio filters to simulate authentic ATC communications.
AI Content Disclosure (Or: Why Your Eyes Aren't Bleeding)
Steam requires me to formally disclose that I used AI tools to help create the visual assets for this game, and honestly, you should be thanking them for it. My personal artistic abilities peak at drawing lopsided stick figures, and if I had to hand-draw the assets myself, this wouldn't be a co-op horror game—it would be a tragedy.
To spare you from my awful programmer art, I used Meshy AI to generate the 3D models and Nano Banana Pro to handle the textures. The gameplay, the panic-inducing 90-second timers, and the terrifying undead Grandma mechanics are all me. The art, however, was assisted by AI as a public service to protect your eyeballs.
Store page AI translation done in the following languages: Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Thai, Russian, Spanish, German, Portugese (Brazilian), Turkish, Polish.
As a solo developer, I utilized generative AI tools during the development process in the following ways
- Visual Assets: AI was used to assist in the creation and enhancement of certain background images and textures. All final assets were manually reviewed and integrated to ensure quality and consistency.
- Text & Localization: I used AI for proofreading, refining the phrasing of in-game text, and assisting with translations into multiple languages to ensure a polished experience for players worldwide.
- Voice Generation: AI was used to generate certain voice lines in the game. All audio content was reviewed, selected, and integrated manually to ensure it fits the intended tone and quality.
All AI-assisted content was pre-generated and manually verified by me to ensure quality and compliance. The game does not feature any real-time AI generation during gameplay.
This game contains pre-rendered voice-over, generated by a machine learning model. All data usage is approved by the voice artist. It's used for the in-game virtual assistant, which is designed not to sound or act like a human, translated into multiple languages, and can be turned off by the player. All audio is pre-rendered and shipped with the game to save on server resources.
This game utilizes generative AI tools to assist in the creation of certain content during development, including the following:
* Art / Images: Some in-game assets and promotional materials were generated using Nano Banana. All AI-generated visuals were manually edited, integrated, and refined to ensure visual consistency and quality.
* Music / Audio: Some background music tracks were generated using Suno and were subsequently manually adjusted, mixed, and refined.
* Code / Logic: AI coding assistants were used to help generate portions of programming logic and code. All final code was manually reviewed and modified by the development team.
All AI-generated content has been manually reviewed and edited before release and does not contain illegal or inappropriate material.
This game does not include live-generated AI content. All AI-assisted assets are pre-generated and finalized during development.
This game uses AI-generated pixel art for character sprites, enemy sprites, and environmental tiles, created using PixelLab. All AI-generated assets were reviewed, selected, and in some cases modified by the developer before inclusion in the game.
Fictional character portraits used in the game's default database were hand-drawn by the developer, then colored and aged using a customized AI workflow.
GameTasker was built by a solo developer with no prior coding experience. The overwhelming majority of the code, design, and Steam assets were created with the help of AI.
I'm being upfront about this because I think it's worth knowing, and because I'm proud of it rather than embarrassed. The idea, the design decisions, the testing, and the judgment calls were all mine — AI was the pair programmer that made it real.
