Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Some of the Game's artistic materials are generated via the "Jimeng AI" platform. The Developer has paid the membership fee and complied with the platform's rules. Such materials are created through the Developer's clear creative intent, personalized prompt design, and post-generation adjustments, which meet the standard of "substantial human contribution". The intellectual property rights of these materials shall be owned by the Developer. The materials have been labeled as AI-generated in accordance with the Measures for the Identification of AI-Generated Synthetic Content.
Some voice lines in this game were generated using AI voice synthesis technology.
These AI-generated voices are used to represent in-game characters and narrative dialogue.
All generated audio was reviewed, edited, and approved by the development team to ensure it meets quality and content standards.
The core character designs are created manually, but I use AI to refine details and backgrounds. AI is not used to directly generate any in-game content during gameplay. The game’s translation was also done with the help of AI.
The game was conceived with the help of ChatGPT, partially built with Perplexity, and programmed using Claude Sonnet 4 and Gemini Pro.
In short, they all made it together — from the story and challenges to the localization and everything in between.
I personally tested it thoroughly (and trust me, it’s super hard!).
Generative AI was used in the creation of promotional images for the store, such as the logo and banners.
In addition, generative AI was used for character voice audio included in both the main game and promotional videos (PV), as well as for the production of certain video segments within the PV.
Some cutscene images were created using AI-assisted tools. The in-game text-to-speech feature uses a standard voice synthesis tool. No real-time AI interaction or generative systems are used during gameplay.
Some visual and audio assets in this game were initially created with the assistance of AI tools. All final game content has been reviewed, edited, and refined by the development team to ensure originality and quality.
All character sprites, CGs and UI assets in the game are commissioned and hand-drawn, or self-drawn by the developer.
Currently, background assets are AI-generated placeholders, generated using commercial AI such as Niji Journey to match the overall art style. All content was reviewed and finalized by the developer.
These AI-generated contents will be replaced as soon as the developer has enough budget.
Select card art, event imagery, and UI elements were developed with the help of AI tools.
No AI is used in the coding, audio, video, or marketing of the game.
whenever I write code, I ask Ai to polish my code, because my code is not that clean.
for some of the art, I draw rough sketches and ask ai to make a more appealing version of it
AI was used as a limited production aid. All final content was reviewed and finalized by the developer; no AI content is generated during play; all assets are original or properly licensed.
Astral Wake incorporates AI tools, including large language models and image generation models, in both development and gameplay—for example, for dynamic storytelling and NPCs that learn over time.
The AI feature is not used to generate any content during runtime.
However, some static assets are AI-generated:
1. Certain graphic assets (such as store page or library artwork) were created using AI tools.
2. Example files included with the program contain some AI-generated images, used only to demonstrate specific features.
All in-game content, interactions, and outcomes are fully created and controlled by the development team, with no AI influencing gameplay. Some development assets, such as concept art, icons, or marketing materials, were generated using AI tools.
AI was used to generate some of the graphics, which were then further edited by me (or a family member).
All content generated by AI was ultimately always checked and edited before it was added to the game's resources.
Zuno itself does not use AI in its functionality or gameplay.
During development, some parts of the codebase were created with the assistance of AI coding tools to improve productivity and prototype features.
In promotional materials, a few fictional posters and titles were AI-generated to illustrate how a media library might look, since real copyrighted artwork could not be used.
These AI-generated visuals are used only in marketing materials and do not appear in the app itself.
This game was developed using limited AI-assisted tools during its creation process. All in-game content is manually reviewed and refined by developers.
During the Early Access stage, translations for languages other than English are provided using DeepL AI. We will continue to improve and refine these translations over time. No AI is used in the gameplay itself.
This game uses AI-assisted tools during development to support the creation of assets such as text polishing, 3D models, textures, and sprites. AI was used as a creative aid for pre-rendered content and visual elements, but it does not generate live gameplay, or player-driven content. All final assets are reviewed, refined, and integrated by the development team.
Some promo art elements (promo character) and logo for the game were created using AI tools. Also parts of trailer and in-game soundtrack was created using AI-based tools.
