I used AI for some background art.
At the current stage of the project our artists use AI to quickly sketch the characters which are than made over by hands.
"The card image includes an AI-generated illustration."
Utilize Microsoft Azure AI Text To Speech technology to generate Japanese voiceovers related to mahjong within the game.
Loading screen images and some images in the game
Some art content is made by AI.
The shop keepers portraits and voices are AI-Generated
AI tools were used in sound creation (not music), sprite scaling, and debugging.
IA is used for the background of the main menu
I've used AI to generate landscapes used in the "battle" cards within the game, that were then touched up by hand. The rest of the art in the game is licensed from artists.
The skill display images are all generated using the text description of VIP Midjourney, based on the creative ideas of the author (myself). Not referencing any copyrighted images. Having specificity and uniqueness. There are no copyright related issues.
Art is AI generated
We have used open-source materials from Baidu, and third-party materials may include AI-generated content
The puzzle content in this game has been created using AI technology, with all resources sourced from the [midjourney] website. We have conducted a strict review and made necessary adjustments to ensure that the game presents positive and therapeutic content. We respect intellectual property rights and are committed to delivering an original and high-quality gaming experience. Should there be any content that infringes upon rights or could potentially confuse players, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via comments or messages. We promise to review and make immediate modifications as needed.
Due to the fact that card games require a large amount of illustrations and illustrations, and I do not have the ability or financial resources to implement them, many AI generated images are used in the game. If you mind, please do not make a purchase. But if you are willing to trust me, then I can assure you that all AI generated images in the game have been manually reviewed and processed, and will not produce obvious strange or abrupt feelings. As for the source of AI models and copyright issues of training data, I only purchased relevant material packages from Epic Mall and did not participate in generation and training.
Some images in the game are created using generative ai. We understand that the use of generative AI in creating some of the images in our game may not align with everyone’s preferences. However, as a small studio with a limited budget, we are exploring every available option to bring our vision to life. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Some artwork in Deal of the Dead Final Cut was created with the assistance of OpenArt AI software.
Some card illustrations and backgrounds
A small set of images in the game has been made using AI. I am planning to replace these.
AI was used to generate the game translations, and the store translations (in combination with human efforts guarantee consistency and clarity).
Some item ICONS, card ICONS and characters were designed with AI-assisted. The scenes were designed with AI-assisted.
Some of our artwork is placeholder AI. We have decided to use AI art to allow us to quickly test cards and features that are rapidly changing. We consider AI art as a development tool and not as a substitute for talented artists. We respect the concerns the community has about the use of AI artwork and plan to remove all AI art from the game as cards and features become locked. This means AI art will be removed iteratively during Early Access, with Village Studio committed to it being completely removed by full launch.
We used a Text To Speech model to generate audio for all the concepts, examples and quizzes.
Some in-game background images are AI-generated and then heavily modified by human artists.
As a solo indie developer, I utilize generative AI tools to assist in creating this game. For visual assets, AI is used strictly for drafting initial concepts and sketches. I personally review, retouch, and hand-polish every asset to ensure they meet the game's artistic vision and quality standards. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Card item ICONS in the game are generated by ai
We use a picture ai like Midjourney to generate pictures. We use those picture to combine them with each other in after effects or davinci and then we animate them and put them into our Cards
Partial image assets are generated using AI assistance
Some card & store page artwork are ai assisted.
AI technology was used in the backgrounds and items as an aid to the design.
The image in the main menu and some UI components are made with the help of Midjourney(AI)
Character and hero images are generated as placeholders and we are in the process of hiring artists to replace the art. 100% of the game's profit goes to replacing AI art. Currently >50% of art is already replaced (non-AI).
AI used in play test images of cards and audio of final victory song
We are using artist assisted AI. In that the artist draws and designs the characters and than the AI will help to polish and clean up the drawing up. That enables us to have a fast turnaround for many characters.
Due to the meta-narrative about corporate greed, GPT-models and the regurgitation of modern media, AI was used as a tool for various in-game graphics and marketing phrases, to keep consistent with the theming of the game. The actual story content, audio, gameplay and visual design does NOT use AI generated content.
The game's card illustrations are a blend of AI-generated and manually restored images. Certain game backgrounds, used for scenes and events, are a mix of AI-generated and manually restored designs.
Characters and monster drawings, scenes, UI and other pictures need to be rendered with AI to enrich the picture details
As a small, two-person startup studio, meeting the full graphical needs of our game is a challenge. To bring our cards to life, we use a combination of original artwork and AI-generated art, ensuring a balance between creativity and efficiency.
We created our in-game cards through an artificial intelligence-based system that is popular in our world. These cards are created from many people's personal dreams and ideas.
We used AI to optimize the art of the image materials, and the optimization rate was about 30%.
Partial of cards adopted AI generated textures.
Some of the original art designs in the game referenced AI-generated content.
The card images in the game are obtained through AI drawing
Background images in this game partially contains AI generated content that is post-processed by hand and given final touches to best suit the game's thematics. "The City" does not conform to this, and is created from the ground up by the fine hands of the creators and artists.
The product contains images produced by AI that has been trained using data produced and owned by Stardock.
Generative AI was used to create music and sound effects for the game.
- Voiceovers and animations - Various graphic elements
Some images in the game were partly designed by artificial intelligence image generation. They were adapted in a unique way to fit in the general theme.
PowerCharge uses AI images for the artwork of the cards and certain user interface elements.
The card illustrations and marketing materials include AI-generated content. There is nothing that is being generated live in real-time by AI.
