Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Some UI elements in this game (e.g., board visuals, evidence images, etc.) were created using AI tools.
These elements are used solely as visual aids in gameplay, and no AI-generated content was used for the game's main story or text.
During development, we mainly used it to generate and complete code. We also used it to improve work efficiency by proofreading some text and converting images to black and white for verification.
Players can generate unique lines for stories based on their text input within their adventure. Additionally, the actions and thoughts of the NPCs players interacted with are controlled through Lattice AI Technology, enabling more engaging and intuitive interactions.
I used AI-generated images to set up my shop page. Furthermore, all the icons in the game are AI-generated. I also had AI voices (languages) for NPCs generated by AI.
The music in the trailer has been made with AI. Some code elements have been made with AI-Assistance tooling. In game UI elements have been made with the use of generative AI.
Some background assets (such as skyboxes) purchased from 3rd parties may have used AI to generate those assets.
AI was also used for localization and grammar checks, but not for original content creation.
We used a few pre-rendered images as internal references for proportions and framing. However, all-ingame visuals are original pixel art creations with our palettes, handcrafted by our team to ensure consistency and authenticity.
After I personally finalized the design phase, some art assets were first rendered using generative AI tools, and I then manually refined and detailed them.
Similarly, certain background music pieces were developed with the help of generative AI tools.
Should you have any concerns about these methods, please feel free to experience the game according to your own preferences. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
The game promotional images and translations were partially created using AI. The game graphics and sound effects were also partially created using AI.
As a solo developer, I used artificial intelligence tools to generate the card artwork and the game's music. All other aspects, including the game design, programming, and mechanics, are entirely human-created.
We used AI tools behind the scenes to make the game more vibrant, varied and polished. AI helped us brainstorm and sketch dozens of unique sea creatures and environments, generate high-quality textures and animations faster, and even suggest balanced enemy behaviors so each battle feels fair and fun. Thanks to AI assistance, our team could focus on crafting the best gameplay moments—AI simply sped up routine tasks, letting us fill the world with more creativity and detail.
Some 2D artwork and images used in the game, and some of its English voice lines, were created with generative AI tools during development and then edited by the developer. AI tools were also used to help write some in-game text (item descriptions and notes) and to translate the game's text and subtitles into German, Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian and Simplified Chinese; the developer reviewed all of it. The game does not generate any content with AI while you play — everything is fixed at release.
This game used AI-assisted tools during development (for code suggestions and some asset creation/editing). No AI-generated code or content is produced at runtime.
Some code of the game, namely the warp door system, some internal timers, enemy logic in Level 3-4, and setting and name displays, was written by me, fed through AI, and then manually edited. No graphics or music were Ai-generated.
This game uses AI to enable real-time conversations and interactions with a desktop companion. It features speech recognition powered by Kyutai ASR, language understanding and generation using Meta’s LLaMA model, and expressive voice responses through Sesame CSM’s text-to-speech system. All AI runs locally on your device, with no internet connection required.
I’ve used tools like Image Creator, Meshy, and assets from the Unreal Fab Shop some of which include AI-assisted content. These resources complement my own custom-made models and help fill creative gaps when needed. Final in-game assets will be a mix of original and properly licensed content.
Most AI-generated content in my project is based on models I’ve created myself.
I was born speaking French and English isn’t my native language, so I’ve used AI tools to help refine and improve my writing. From game dialogue to story descriptions and Kickstarter text, AI helps me correct grammar and make my ideas easier to read and understand for a broader audience. The creative direction and story are completely mine it just helps me express it better!
Some visual and textual elements in this game were created with the assistance of generative tools and were then edited, curated, and integrated as part of the overall artistic development process.
To improve efficiency during the prototyping stage, the current demo version of our project temporarily uses AI-generated assets as placeholders for some background elements.
We want to be clear that in the final version of the game, these placeholder assets will be entirely removed. All graphics will be replaced with 100% original artwork created by our in-house artists. This is our firm commitment to ensuring a unique and high-quality experience for all players.
We used generative AI tools to assist in the creation of static artwork such as character portraits, backgrounds, and promotional screenshots. No AI is used in gameplay or live content generation.
This game is primarily hand-drawn and artist-created. A very small number of development assets were lightly assisted with AI tools, but no live AI generation occurs during gameplay. The vast majority of in-game assets, environments, characters, and cinematics are traditionally created by the developer.
I have used AI to pre-render content. I have used AI to make some of the code that I use in the game. Such that AI has helped me make the best possible CPU and help with player physics.
