Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

The single-player framework and associated features for the game were developed by humans, but the multi-player framework and a few general game polish features were developed by AI. Additionally, AI was used to help flush out the description for the store page, since I couldn't be bothered to write another essay - I don't think I ended up using most of it though - so that's kind of a waste *shrug* :/
AI generation was partially used to create marketing materials. The game itself is handcrafted.
The game logo and some of the artwork in the store page were created with the assistance of AI.
I use AI to generate the store covers and then refine them in Photoshop, but the game screenshots are real and were taken by me during the gameplay, just like the trailer.
Certain mechanics and rendering optomizations were created using LLM(s). Majority of the code was written by me and some parts were taken from copyright-free tutorials on Youtube and Stack Overflow.
AI is used to help create the game’s art and music, as well as promotional and community content. Players will experience these AI-assisted visuals and audio as part of the game’s aesthetic, but all gameplay mechanics are hand-crafted and unaffected by AI.
Background music is created by AI.
All art and animation in Amyria is hand-crafted by human artists. AI powers NPC dialogue and decision-making, enabling truly infinite conversations. You can say anything and get a real response. We believe AI belongs where it genuinely improves the experience, not where it replaces craftsmanship. NPC dialogue is exactly that use case.
To keep this project viable without selling a kidney, generative AI was used to assist with Tablo Escobar's motivational dialogues and localization. However, I didn’t make AI slop... I manually reviewed and edited every line to make sure the robots didn't accidentally declare war on the player.
AI used for some GUI menu gfx
Generative AI was used only to create a few illustrations shown as short comic-style scenes at the beginning and end of the game, as well as some promotional artwork (capsules and banners). These images do not affect gameplay or appear as part of the interactive experience. All game mechanics, characters, and environments were created manually. All AI-generated illustrations were created specifically for this project, and I have full rights to use and distribute them.
AI was used for the minor UI elements ,some backgrounds and one BGM.
1. In-game voice lines are dubbed using AI. 2. The game includes one original BGM track by the developer; all other in-game sound effects are generated using AI. 3. Some art assets generated via AI
The main image on the screensaver is generated by artificial intelligence
This game uses Artificial Intelligence tools only to generate pre-rendered content such as promotional images, concept art, and some non-essential visual elements. The music tracks are also AI-generated. No part of the gameplay uses AI in real time; no levels, code, or dynamic content are generated during play. All gameplay, level design, programming, and mechanics were created manually, with AI assistance only used to solve specific issues and speed up the development process. Artificial Intelligence does not intervene in or modify the player’s experience during gameplay.
