Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
All images, text, music, code, and other important parts of the game are created manually.
We have used AI for some of the translation, as well as for creating some textures (for example - wall posters). The usage is minimal, and you probably won't notice it. This is done to speed up the development process. In the future, we may replace these assets if we deem it necessary.
This is a SPOILER, actually, but your arch enemy in this game is an Evil Generative A. I. It must look accordingly. Big part of it is A. I. generated, and it's made as obvious as possible.
AI-generated materials are not used directly.

Posing, facial expressions, and composition of some character illustrations are used as references.
I draw by hand while looking at the AI-generated materials.
In this game Akpala, there is a feature that allows players to converse with NPC characters during gameplay.
For the responses to the player's voice input, we use AI-generated text.
ChatWaifu does not include any large language models by default but supports importing custom large language model files by user. When interacting with the 3D character on the desktop via voice or keyboard input, ChatWaifu utilizes these models to generate and vocalize the conversation text.
In the localization of multi-language translation of the game, the developer uses translation software to translate the languages of different countries.
The translation software describes the use of neural networks for translation, which I think may be related to AI translation;
Since the developer does not understand the language of other countries, the developer does not have the funds to hire a professional translator, so the multi-language support is handled by translation software.
Please forgive me if this automated translation causes any language offense, and please let me know. I will correct it in time.
Sometimes you'll see me write words in English in parentheses, so that the translation software can correctly identify what I'm trying to say;
In addition, the developers did not use AI to generate images, audio and other content;
DeepL has been used as a tool for aiding the translations, AI has been used for image generation (a complete list can be found in-game), a single song is AI-generated song (can you spot it? ;) It has been exclusively added for the Steam release. In a recent update, we also added optional AI-background music for a part of the game.
The images in the game are collages and/or modified parts of images created by AI.
Each image was processed and animated manually by a human.
Parts of the images have been redrawn by humans.
Some background and terrain texture images in the game were generated using AI and may have been manually edited.
The courses in this game are procedurally generated using (traditional) algorithms, not on AI-based methods."
Some images in the middle of map loading are retouched using AI to improve their appearance, artistic retouching of some images for advertising, original images (screenshots) were used and retouched to make them more striking.
Edwaldo creates a fake restaurant review early in the game. Said review was made by ChatGPT

I used AI tools during development to help with code optimization, solve problems like pathfinding and mathematical formulas, and assist with English translation and proofreading.
I added scenes and images improved with Generative Artificial Intelligence.
They are locally generated using Stable diffusion, without resorting to paying any generative AI company. Although paying them could have given me better tools and results, I decided not to pay for their use to support the claim of artists for fair royalties. (It is not possible to discuss such a complex issue here, but I will consider opening a discussion on the topic in the game forum, follow my game to be notified if it is created)
Most of the artistic content in the game, mainly music, is compensated in various ways depending on the case to its artists.
My original content is registered, but the images generated by AI are essentially treated as 'creative commons' and I consider them fanarts of my characters.
All added scenes and backgrounds are of high quality and maintain good coherence, avoiding deformities in hands, eyes, etc., and without annoying or confusing shapes.
All AI-generated images are generated, selected, and edited exclusively by me, the creator of the game, to reflect my original vision, previously inaccessible due to high costs.
I have sought to include only select content that enriches the narrative and immersion of the game.
In Zero Factory, there is no option for users to generate content using AI or other means that could infringe on intellectual property rights. The game’s content is fully curated and controlled by the development team, ensuring that any assets or user interactions within the game are legally compliant and original.
Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum makes use of a custom built variational autoencoder to assist in the creation of character sprites, trained exclusively on the sprites I've already created. A separate generative adversarial network is used to make images that serve as the basis for some facial sprites, and background art.
Regarding AI usage: The game employs AI in only two areas
1. Character voice lines (disabled by default)
The ultra-large script (800k words) makes authentic voice acting financially unaffordable for our small studio.
2. "Seek Answers" function in the game lobby’s Sosoth (NPC) interaction interface
For entertainment purposes, we used AI chat.
What we can guarantee: Beyond these, translation, scripts, design, art, animation, and other game components absolutely did not use AI.
The package image of this game was created using multiple AI tools.
Part of the background image and background character: Created using Stable Diffusion and provided under the CreativeML Open RAIL-M license.
Part of the logo design: Created by Sonic-Alpha using OpenAI's generative AI, "ChatGPT," under the paid "ChatGPT Plus" plan.
No AI-generated elements are included in the main game or in-game content.
