Public Steam disclosure research 25,394 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Marketing materials, pre-rendered in-game visual effects, textures and materials for characters, props, and environments and translations are partly or completly AI-generated.
Images for the game was partially generated by AI
We have used AI to generate game assets and marketing assets.
Cinematic and soundtrack
This game uses AI-generated images that were created during the development phase (e.g., for backgrounds, characters, or other visual assets). No AI-generated content is created or modified while the game is running. All AI-generated content complies with Steam Store requirements, and no copyrighted or impersonating material has been used.

None
This game does not use any artificial intelligence in its gameplay. Some assets (such as sound effects and a few images) were generated or assisted by AI tools, including ElevenLabs for voice work and Sora for visual creation during the production phase.
Game contains images generated by AI.
Explore the Universe 2175 uses AI in two distinct ways, and we want to be clear about both. Real-time simulation (the core of the game). The galaxy is driven by a custom AI system we built ourselves. Faction behavior, MEGABOT's roaming strategy, enemy tactics, and the way wars unfold across sectors are all computed live in our own engine — not generated text or assets. This is procedural and rule-based simulation: the "intelligence" you fight against is real-time decision-making, the same category as the AI in any strategy game, just deeper. Dialogue is human-written, scripted in advance. Music and sound are human-created. Some in-game entity visuals and animations are AI-generated (created during development, not dynamically while you play). Some marketing and store-page images are AI-generated. Gameplay screenshots are authentic. No AI-generated content is used to deceive players or misrepresent the game.
Some of the music, sound effects, and visuals in this game have been generated using AI technologies, bringing a unique and creative twist to the game's overall experience.
Some of the promotional and storefront images were created with AI tools and then refined by hand. All of the in-game assets were designed by a 3D artist.
Generative AI has been used only for the following things but will be replaced before the full release: -Voice announcements at the start of the battle -A few GUI elements and buttons
Some promotional and marketing images were partially created using generative AI tools. No AI-generated content appears in the actual gameplay or in-game assets
The core character designs are created manually, but I use AI to refine details and backgrounds. AI is not used to directly generate any in-game content during gameplay. The game’s translation was also done with the help of AI.
AI is used for graphic material
All character sprites, CGs and UI assets in the game are commissioned and hand-drawn, or self-drawn by the developer. Currently, background assets are AI-generated placeholders, generated using commercial AI such as Niji Journey to match the overall art style. All content was reviewed and finalized by the developer. These AI-generated contents will be replaced as soon as the developer has enough budget.
The battle backgrounds are AI generated
Some visual assets in this game were created using AI-based image generation tools.
This game was developed using limited AI-assisted tools during its creation process. All in-game content is manually reviewed and refined by developers.
This game uses AI-assisted tools during development to support the creation of assets such as text polishing, 3D models, textures, and sprites. AI was used as a creative aid for pre-rendered content and visual elements, but it does not generate live gameplay, or player-driven content. All final assets are reviewed, refined, and integrated by the development team.
Super Real AI reverses the traditional use of artificial intelligence. Instead of AI serving humans, humans now serve AI. A local LLM powers simulated users who constantly send unpredictable queries—while real players, acting as AI workers, must respond, classify, and adapt. It’s not a game using AI; it’s a game about using AI.
Some artwork asset. Game code assistant.
ai created images in the game and the all images created by ai
Botwave: Overclock includes content created with the help of generative AI tools, including some in-game visuals, sound effects, and promotional/store artwork. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and edited by the developer. The game does not use AI to generate content in real time during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services while playing.
All AI-generated visuals used in this project were produced using a Generative Adversarial Network trained exclusively on artwork to which we hold full copyright and usage rights. All generated artwork underwent manual intervention and polishing to ensure artistic quality.
Some placeholder voice lines were generated using AI.
In Police Chief we use AI tools to support development in creative ways, never for coding or game logic. AI helps us generate things like: - logos and design ideas - Randomized names, reports, and text responses - Suggestions and advice to improve features All core gameplay, systems, and programming are made by the development team. AI is only used to improve content of like callouts, reaction from NPC's etc.
A.I. generation was used in the creation of promotional materials via leonardo.ai (that's TOS permits commercial use) with custom inputs and subsequent tweaking with other art tools like GIMP as well as some sounds/audio via https://elevenlabs.io/ (also permitted for commercial use) then often modified in Audacity, but all images/videos/dialog/story in game are not the product of AI generation.
This game’s store page text has been translated into multiple languages with the assistance of AI translation tools. We review and adjust translations manually to ensure they remain accurate to the game’s tone, style, and meaning.
My approach to AI is that it's better for a game to come out with graphics drawn by a computer than not at all! I have had about TWENTY projects canceled at different times due to the fault of artists! So I'd rather lose part of an unhappy audience than lose it entirely again by relying on humans! All images created by neural networks are included in an external module and can be disabled or replaced with a custom file via Steam Workshop if desired.
Some art and music resources are processed using AI plus manual work.
Artificial intelligence was used in the game’s capsule image.
Several images of the main characters in photographs are AI generated and are not real people.
AI was used for making translations
The music was generated with AI. The character animations were created by AI based on hand-drawn pixel art. Localization translation was done with AI help.
The game's background music lyrics were sung by an AI model.
Strictly: in the manor 3d assets. Watch my video on youtube on it! Thank you.
AI was used in the storyline.
AI-assisted tools were used during development for select artwork, marketing materials, and for code bug-checking/optimization. All gameplay, design, balance, and core assets were handcrafted by the developer. The game does not use AI to generate content during play.
This background image was created using AI tools under MysticQuest’s direction.
This game makes limited use of generative Artificial Intelligence strictly to support the creation of certain pre-rendered assets, such as visual concepts, object drafts, and artistic reference material. All AI-assisted content was subsequently edited, refined, and manually integrated by the development team. AI is not used to generate content dynamically during gameplay, nor does it create dialogues, decisions, code, or any element that affects the player's real-time experience. The final game—its story, mechanics, core art, lighting, audio, and all interactive systems—was created manually. AI was used only as a creative support tool during development, fully respecting copyright, ethical guidelines, and Steam policies.
We have utilized AI-assisted design for the store materials and some 2D background images within the game. However, these are not purely AI-generated; they are based on our original photographs that were enhanced using AI technology, and subsequently refined manually to ensure quality.
This game includes some pre-rendered content created using generative AI tools. Most of the core assets and gameplay elements are non-AI. AI was not used to generate real-time content during gameplay.
Using AI to generate some character portraits, background images, etc
AI has been used for collaborative coding, with full human review of all code. AI may also be used for image generation, video generation, and music/sound generation, with full human review of all generated content.
AI was used for translation and image generation.
The voice acting consists of human performances transformed by an AI voice changer. We use licensed voices from ElevenLabs, where the original actors are paid royalties for their work. The game’s artwork and soundtracks were created using a mix of traditional assets, original edits, and AI-assisted tools.
AI Usage in Dream Nest In Dream Nest, AI is at the heart of the entire creative process. Every element of the game is enhanced or generated by AI to give players a truly dynamic filmmaking experience: AI Storytelling: Players select 12 storyboard frames, which the AI uses to generate a complete cinematic sequence. AI Casting: All actors are AI-driven, bringing unique appearances, personalities, and performances to your film. AI-Enhanced Outcomes: The “one-line ending” feature lets players write a single sentence, and the AI adapts the film’s finale accordingly. AI Simulation: Budget allocation and box office outcomes are simulated by AI, reflecting efficiency and audience reception. AI Assets: All images, sound effects, music, and voice acting in the game are AI-generated, creating a seamless and ever-changing movie-making world. With AI as your collaborator, every playthrough of Dream Nest results in a one-of-a-kind film that could never exist without your direction.
