Public Steam disclosure research 25,394 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Enemy models and textures were initially generated with AI and later manually refined by the development team.
The promotional video for the game features AI-generated voice.
The user can freely interact with NPCs in the game world through voice chat. The sister’s voice is generated in real time using a TTS model. Some 3D game objects are initially generated using AI tools and are then retouched by the developers. All AI-generated content is reviewed and modified by human creators before being used in the game. We do not collect or store any user voice data under any circumstances.
This game uses AI to generate dynamic, branching conversations with in-game characters, allowing each player to experience unique story interactions. The AI system adapts dialogue to the player’s choices, creating personalized comedic and narrative moments while staying within safe and curated content boundaries. All AI outputs are filtered and moderated to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience. In addition, some design assets were created with the assistance of AI tools, and were reviewed and refined by human artists before inclusion in the game.

This product uses generative AI tools during development to assist with certain content such as text, images, and design elements used on the store page and within the application. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer to ensure it meets the intended functionality and quality of the product. The application itself does not autonomously generate or distribute harmful or illegal content.
