Public Steam disclosure research 25,383 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Artificial intelligence was used to create some of the images on the store page and in the game (i.e. images for movie titles)
The game contains images that were generated by the AI during the development process. The developer designed a specific prompt for each image that was requested from the AI and the generated images were stored in the game. No AI is used during the game and no internet connection is used.

Players’ use of AI in our game: In Hidden Bloodhunt, artificial intelligence is not used directly by players. All AI content is fully integrated into the game during development and is not modifiable or generable by the community. Tool-created assets used for certain aspects of the game (e.g. synthetic voices) have been carefully reviewed prior to release to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and relevance to the gameplay experience. This means that players interact with fixed content only, with no ability to generate or use AI assets themselves.

Generative AI was used for background images, some painting images, and store page images.
We used AI to generate Voices and for Music for our Game.
To create an immersive experience, AI-generated images and music are used in selected areas. These have been carefully chosen and adjusted to best support the atmosphere of the fairground world. Our goal is to use AI to provide more creative and diverse content that enhances the gameplay experience, while the majority of the game remains handcrafted.
Generative AI is used for some of the textures for the game. Environmental textures and movie posters.
AI was used to help make some of the achievement arts
The game's development used neural networks to generate images of the faces of non-existent people (any matches are random), as well as to create sounds and partially music
A few localization countries. Sound of phone.
We used AI to translate the game into different languages. We don't have the funds for localization yet, thank you for your patience. If you have any comments on the translation, please let us know!
Most images in this game began as AI-generated drafts, then edited and finalized by an artist. The AI served as a tool in the development workflow.
Some textures were generated with AI.
Scripts and certain texture has been through a AI process.
AI used for capsule art and logo design
We used Midjourney for the icons on the Steam page
AI is used to generate text for Steam Page and in-game text content.
This game is a text-based game created by a solo developer. Due to cost considerations, some realistic images, voice acting, and music in the game were generated by AI.
The use of artificial intelligence was only applied to audio, for example music. It does not affect gameplay and has not been used for other related purposes such as programming, modeling, or other things. Even though it is used for music, few were generated by artificial intelligence.
Generative AI creates a logo and banner for the game's Steam page and music.
AI was used as a voice changer to alter human voice sound clips, and AI was used to generate several sound effects.
The capsule art, several images used in the game, and most of the human voices are generated by AI.
AI is used for store page capsule art... The character voices used in the game were generated by artificial intelligence.
I used AI images incredibly sparingly; I also modified the original AI image templates to get a desired outcome. The examples are -- the games text logo "Addled Clicker" was original AI before being edited heavily, a single image depicting a lovecraftian blob was used in one of the monster descriptions -- again, heavily edited, and finally in the in-game merchant, the background is a blurred lovecraftian manuscript that was AI generated as well.
AI support for store content
In-game voice-overs are made with AI.
Generated images for some paintings and photographs using AI. Voice acting done using AI.

AI-generated art objects
The game uses a small amount of AI pre-generated images and texts: game interface background images, and some text information polishing.

Operation: Strike & Secure uses generative artificial intelligence to create certain visual elements, including the background image of its main menu. This image was generated using an AI tool to bring a unique and immersive aesthetic to the game interface. However, no AI is used to generate real-time content during gameplay, and all other visual and mechanical elements were created and verified by the development team. The AI-generated image meets copyright requirements and has been carefully checked to ensure it fits the theme and atmosphere of the game.

I'm using AI to generate images for the Store page and the illustration of the main menu.
The game's icons were created by an artist and with the use of generative AI tools to automate certain processes, such as removing backgrounds, among others. We ensured compliance with all copyright and intellectual property policies.
In "Stay Alive My Son," artificial intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role at two distinct points in the game to enhance player immersion and emotional engagement. Specifically, AI is employed during an interaction with Yathay Pin's digital replica in Level 01 and once again in Level 06. This is programmed directly using existing Unreal Engine Blueprints nodes. The AI integration is meticulously designed to enable Yathay's digital eyes to follow the player's movements continuously. This technology ensures that Yathay appears to be directly engaging with the player, fostering a deeper emotional connection. The purpose behind this AI application is to intensify the sense of direct communication and interaction with Yathay, thereby amplifying the player's emotional investment and empathy towards his journey and experiences.
AI has been used to help develop the game's cover art.
During the development of our game, certain visual, video, and audio assets were created using AI-assisted tools. These technologies supported our creative process—especially in concept design, environmental elements, sound effects, and cinematic transitions. All content has been carefully refined and integrated to ensure it aligns with the overall atmosphere and quality of the game. We use AI technologies with ethical responsibility, always prioritizing originality and excellence.
Some images on the walls and a small amount of textures are temporarily AI-generated. Will be replaced by human-created content.
Music and script grammatical errors.
The voice acting for the game uses pre-generated voice lines
Malware Tycoon uses AI to the most minimal extent possible. This includes some music (but never any lyrical content) and a minimal subset of graphics (less than 5%). AI is not used liberally in the production of Malware Tycoon, and where a feasible effort can be made to exclude it, that effort is executed.
