Public Steam disclosure research 25,508 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game features fully voiced, AI-powered conversations with all of the characters.
The game uses DALL-E to generate card image assets in the game
English voice acting for the game was created using Google AI Studio Text-to-Speech technology.
Some (not all) icons were generated with AI.
We used AI to localize the text, as well as to enhance some of the graphical assets on the Steam store page. AI is not used in the game content itself.
Generative AI is used solely during development for supplemental, non-essential purposes, including design ideation, code production support, or localization assistance. These AI-generated outputs are limited in scope, reviewed by our development team, and never substitute human creative or technical decision-making. All final core assets and game content are created by Wargaming’s artists and developers.
We have used chatgpt to generate main screen of the game and Capsule art.
Music in this game is generated using artificial intelligence tools. All AI-generated content is reviewed, selected, and integrated by the developer to ensure it fits the game’s tone and quality.
Limited AI-assisted processing was used for some content based on human-created material, including certain video sequences animated from hand-rendered frames.
All in-game voice lines were created using text-to-speech tools.
How we use artificial intelligence: Some creative assets in Slash The Tower were created with the help of generative AI. Art and music were produced using Google Gemini (AI-assisted generation). Those assets are pre-made and shipped with the game—they are not generated live while you play. Game code and parts of the user interface were developed with assistance from Cursor (an AI-enabled editor) together with Unity. That means design and implementation were guided by us as developers, with AI helping draft or refine code and UI-related work—not replacing human creative direction for the whole game. We do not use generative AI to create personalized or real-time content for each player session beyond what is described above. If we add AI-generated material to the Steam store page, community hubs, or marketing, we will treat it the same way: clearly labeled and consistent with this approach.
AI tools were used in the creation of this game’s box art. The Miners and Zombies shown are in-game renders, with AI-assisted post-processing applied to enhance lighting and detail. The background environment and title text were generated using AI tools. This AI disclosure was written with the assistance of AI tools. No generative AI has been used for in-game assets at this time.
The cyborg HUD AI assistant voice is voiced by AI. Can be disabled in the options.
Several post-release languages (specifically Bulgarian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Slovak, and Latin) were experimentally translated using an AI model. The quality of these translations is not guaranteed, and they may contain mistakes. All other languages were translated by a team of human translators.

This game uses generative artificial intelligence to power dynamic NPC dialogue during gameplay. NPCs can respond to player input using AI-generated text, creating unique conversations. AI tools were also used during development to assist with creating certain assets such as character concepts and dialogue. All generated content is reviewed and integrated by the developer. The game may connect to external AI services to generate dialogue responses during gameplay. AI-generated responses are moderated and filtered to prevent inappropriate or harmful content.
Some store artwork was generated with AI and then edited and finalized by the developer. All gameplay, code, and in-game assets are created manually.
Some pre-generated content in the game and store materials was created with the assistance of generative AI during development. All final content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. The game does not use live-generated AI during gameplay
