Public Steam disclosure research 25,380 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

There is only one character created with AI as a 3D character. The music and other characters will be sourced from free assets.
Communication with the ghost is carried out using artificial intelligence. Generative artificial intelligence is partly used for creation of the game key-art on the Store Page.
We use pre-rendered AI content. Loading screens and UI elements are done with AI.
this game used AI to make realistic images of old portraits.
All of the images in this game are generated by neural networks trained on images (aka “AI generated”). If you choose to boycott all AI generated material, please do not buy this game. If you are uncomfortable with the thought but are interested in my game, please read on. The aesthetic of this game had to come from the strange, uncanny look of AI. There is a heartlessness to the visuals that is intentional. I am not trying to copy the look of other artists. The only tool capable of producing the look I was going for was a malfunctioning AI. Ironically, I have had a number of people tell me that it looks much more realistic than standard AI. I am assuming this is because of how I tried to reproduce the look of old media. All images, aside from the title screen, credits and some of the video shot on camcorder were generated by AI prompts. It took several days of exploring before I began generating images that fit the aesthetic I was looking for. I have heard AI described as a slot machine, and I think the metaphor is somewhat accurate. I think of this as similar to indeterminacy in music. Using random number generators can produce interesting outputs, but you need to refine and direct the system to do so. I started my process in Midjourney. My ratio of usable images was around 100 to 1; for every 100 images I generated, I found one usable piece for the game. I created an automated process to transform these images to 16:9 widescreen in Photoshop Beta. Some of these images I touched up manually or regenerated sections of the image. There are some real images and hand painted imagery within the AI elements. Often, I would have to generate the sides of the image multiple times because photoshop didn’t generate what I needed. To those concerned about not paying artists: I understand this, but I want to be clear that this was not created to replace the work of artists, any more than the synthesized scores to horror films were about replacing orchestras. These are tools that do different things. Rather than some sort of lazy shortcut, the use of AI imagery is essential to the aesthetic and narrative of the Path of Veins.
As I am not a programmer the code in this game is a mix of youtube tutorials and AI generated code.
Radio Commentary is AI Generated
Game uses AI Voice to create dialogue sounds
The radio show was generated by AI voice technology.
AI-generated images are used for the textures of some 3D models.
This game partially incorporates the following content: AI-generated images AI-created 3D models
Various assets were created by or edited by AI tools. This includes; models, textures, sound effects, voices, UI, and narrative elements.
The character voices used in the game were generated by artificial intelligence.
I used AI on some photos using Adobe photoshops generative fill to extend images to fit the game.
The game uses a small amount of AI-generated textures, materials as assets.
Some marketing and page materials were made with AI
We are using AI for object generation within the game.
it's just helps me to make a better description.
AI tools were used to generate select artwork, including concept images, a few decorative assets, and a few censored fictional photographs as some Voicelines and Screams. Some of these depict intentionally exaggerated or eccentric characters that would have been impractical—or impossible—to stage with real models. All AI-generated assets were manually reviewed and edited before inclusion. No AI content is generated dynamically during gameplay.
We used AI for a few textures and voice acting, but we’re planning to replace them if the game does well after the full release
Using AI to generate some pictures, after all, the studio has no artist for the time being
This game uses AI to only give pre-generated voice to the characters.
I use the service to generate artificial intelligence voices for characters. The voice generation process does not occur in real-time, but rather beforehand, allowing me to test and evaluate the content before using it in the game. Additionally, I implement appropriate preventive measures to ensure that the generated content is suitable and compliant with legal requirements and Steam standards.
AI images are included in the generation of the characters' faces.
Echoes Below uses AI-generated voiceovers as temporary placeholders for character dialogues. These will be replaced with professionally recorded voice acting during development.
AI was used to generate voicelines.
Basically, all hand-drawn graphics are used, but AI is used to depict some natural backgrounds such as plants and rocks.
Services claiming copyright protection/indemnification: None. I do not use any third-party copyright filtering, detection, or indemnification service; the optional local assistant is offline and restricted to in-game data only.
As placeholder voiced narrative, this game uses a Unity Asset Store asset which uses a database of non-copyrighted human voices to generate character voices.
Some sound effects such as doors and footsteps are created by AI
AI has been used in a limited way* for the following aspects: Text Localization, Speech Localization and Musical Audio. *The base was AI-generated, but the transformative creation built upon it stands as an original work. (Text was controlled by a human, the voice and musical audio were edited and reworked by a human)
使用了部分ai音效
We used neural networks to create illustrations for the store. After generation, the work was refined in photo editor.
Some of the characters , scenario , program , sounds , images have been created by AI
Game uses AI Voice to create dialogue sounds
Some video content generated using AI has been partially used in the game.
May use just some AI generated images everything else is not generated.
>Used for 2D images displayed in paintings and posters >Used for translations into languages other than Japanese
Some pictures on the walls were generated by AI.
Pictures on the wall
Some basic components like door opening and closing, and light switching were automatically mounted by Yahaha Studio's AI tools (a UGC game editor). The 3D scenes were constructed using Yahaha Studio's AI tools (a UGC game editor), with art assets recognized and used by the AI tools being copyright-compliant.
