Public Steam disclosure research 25,380 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
AI used in the generation of some town images, portraits, and icons.
Stable diffusion 2.1 was used as part of the card art creation process.
Potentially using software, to assist in audio creation.
This game uses generative artificial intelligence to generate content for the game. Used For Art and Text.
The use of AI in the development process has been strictly limited to translation purposes. All graphical assets and code have been exclusively created by professional developers and artists, with no exceptions. And also no AI-generated content has been utilized in the production of these elements.
Assets in this game, its store page, marketing materials and community assets were created with the help of AI technology.
Generative AI was used to create some parts of the images for the Steam page
Our game uses AI in a limited, supportive capacity. Specifically, AI occasionally assists in generating generic background elements or provides base inspiration through photobashing, which our artists then extensively modify. All AI-generated content is subject to significant human alteration to meet our artistic standards, ensure alignment with our creative vision, and faithfully represent the Wheel of Time canon. The primary game assets, including nearly all in-game elements, are fully developed in 3D using traditional modeling techniques. AI, at present, does not meet our quality standards for these core assets. Instead, AI serves as a creative tool for pre-rendered 2D art pieces, which are heavily customized by our team. Our game does not use AI for any live generation or dynamic content during gameplay. All portrayals of familiar characters, places, and items from The Wheel of Time books are created by Aether Games under full authorization and license.
Dungeum includes a large number of unique pet images that were created using generative AI tools during development. All AI-generated content is pre-rendered and manually reviewed to ensure quality, consistency, and appropriateness. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
Some backgrounds and decorative images were made with generative AI.
Some Artwork
We used generative AI tools to create base 3D meshes for some of the NPCs and initial compositions for achievement icons. These assets were not used 'as-is'; our team manually performed UV unwrapping, created custom texture masks, and modified the materials to ensure they work with our custom-made in-game shaders. This manual rework allows the assets to match our game’s unique visual style, performance standards, and lighting requirements.
In the early stages of game development, we utilized AI technology to generate NPC voice-overs, scene skyboxes, and song covers to enhance the gaming experience. Based on user feedback, we will consider making optimizations and replacements in the official release. We look forward to your valuable input!

As a small indie team, we may use procedural and/or AI-based tools to assist with the development process. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.
I use generative AI solutions for 3D models, marketing collateral, and project management. There are moderate edits made to the 3D models, texts, or images in order to make them usable. ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Meshy.AI were all used.
AI only was used to create the achievement images
Tickle Monster has used the Midjourney AI service to generate most of the images shown in the game. In particular, the 650+ player images were generated using heavily pixelated and manually-edited composite images as source material, and mascots were generated from text inputs. None of the text content is AI-generated, though. For more on the process used to generate player images, see this blog post: https://www.ticklemonster.com.au/2023/06/14/photobashing-game-assets-via-midjourney/
During the development process, we may use procedural and AI-based tools to assist in content creation. In all of these cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team. Examples include voiceover audio, badges, and calling cards.
Use AI generated art assets.
Some of the audio in the work is generated by AI, with a few illustrations and very few scene backgrounds assisted in art production by AI-generated images.
For our game, we've generated the following content using pre-production AI tools: 1.Hero illustrations for the gacha interface. 2.Hero icons. Background music for the game.
Some images are created using AI.
Some static 2D art assets such as key art, loading screens, and promotional images were created using AI-assisted tools and then manually edited by the developer. The game itself does not use AI to generate any live content, dialogue, or gameplay elements.
Only a small amount of non-core code and the melody of the opening theme in this game are generated by AI; no AI technology is used for the core creative content including core code, gameplay logic and the lyrics composition of the opening theme.
The static skybox HDRI for the first map is generated with Blockade Labs.
AI generated content for unit portrait images
Generated AI is used for the card frame, card background, and image of Mt. Fuji.
The promotional and waiting images of the game use generative AI to make the work more complete. The actual content of the game lacks generative AI
An LLM was used to help translate the English labelling and help to simplified Chinese.
AI was used to generate 3 scripts.
AI in Truck Manager has been used for image creation for some splash arts and characters.
Game contains some AI generated artwork for the background & avatars.
Some visuals in the game and on the store page were created using artificial intelligence.
AI was used on main menu and AI generated voices for most characters.
Some pictures in the game are generated by artificial intelligence.
AI may be used to assist in the generation of card art, UI elements and associated game marketing materials.
AI was used to create some of the images and 3d models.
The card graphics are made by AI
Some icons and graphics utilize AI placeholders, but we hope to replace these with finalized artwork by the time of the full release.
During the game design process, we used advanced AI tools to generate some pictures as creative references and sources of inspiration, and professionals performed artistic processing on this basis to show the unique art style of "Atman: Rebel Flame". At the same time, we also attach great importance to player feedback and suggestions. If you have any suggestions on the artistic performance of the game, please feel free to communicate with us through the community.
Only used for some UI
Generative AI is used to create logo and banner images.
The names of the characters in the game are AI-generated
Tuggowar artwork is created through a process of creative design by artists who used AI-assisted rendering and manual work. As a small independent studio, hiring a team of full-time artists was not within our means. All use of AI is commercially licensed.
