Artificial intelligence has been used to help compose text descriptions for the store page.
We’ve used AI technology in a minimal capacity to assist in the creation of the game’s visuals. AI was utilized primarily for generating rough background sketches and concept drafts. AI Generated Capsule and Library Images
Assets in this game, its store page, marketing materials and community assets were created with the help of AI technology.
The music was pre-rendered content using generative artificial intelligence with the use of general commercial terms allowed. Some of the store assets were also created using pre-rendered art from generative artificial intelligence and customized by the developer in another software to create a personalized touch.
Only game logo
We use AI to pre-generate some in-game banners and icons. Some of this generated content is used as reference and then modified by our in-house art team.
To make references of previously made designs, to later do post production of them
There were 2 lines of code during the developmental process of building the game that I wasn't able to figure out on my own, I used Chat-GPT 3.5 in order to help out me with the code, and it filled in what I was struggling with.
AI was used to generate voiceovers for tutorial.
We have used AI-generated content for player-selectable BGM and cover images in the game lobby, as well as voice-overs. Among these, all voice-overs have been completely replaced with professional voice actors' recordings in time for the Early Access release. During the development of this game, AI-generative content was used to create auxiliary interface elements, some icons and character voice acting.
We use a limited amount of pre-rendered AI generated content in our game. The background announcers in the hub and gameplay announcer were made using text to speech generation.
AI was used to translate text from English to other languages.
Various 2D Sprites
In order to empower a single developer to achieve results that would otherwise not be possible, the developer utilizes a variety of AI tools to help in the creation of specific texture designs, translations as well as incorporating text-to-speech voice models for voice narration within the game.
Generative AI has been critical for the development of this game and is infact a part of it's lore as well. Generative AI assisted us in producing pre-renders for our backgrounds and complimenting the high quality of our human made animations, the backgrounds of this game wouldn't have looked as beautiful as it does nor even possible had BOS released before generative AI existed. In simple: The game uses AI generated images for the backgrounds of different regions.
