This game uses generative artificial intelligence during development to assist in the creation of some visual assets.
All AI-assisted content is static, non-interactive, and does not affect gameplay systems or player data.
Some of the game's visual elements were created using AI tools during the development stage (for example, the design of Albums). Artists manually refined all such materials. Generative AI is not used in the gameplay and does not generate any content during the game.

Since our team is very small, due to a lack of certain skills and time, for now we had to use AI to create some of the icons and music in our game, as placeholders that will be replaced by handcrafted art in the future. All other visual content was created by real people.

Verification: We confirm that all content used is free of illegal or copyright-infringing material.
We use AI for both development and creative support. Assets generated by both AI and humans are collaboratively refined by AI and humans before being used in the game.

Certain art assets (character sprites, backgrounds, UI icons) were generated by AI and manually retouched.
AI assistance was used for writing game code. All AI-generated content has been reviewed to ensure it contains no illegal or infringing material.
This game features pre-generated visual assets and 3D models created with the help of generative AI during the development process. These assets are fully integrated into the game files, and no AI generation occurs in real-time during gameplay."
Some of the visual assets had the initial artwork generated by Sora. Then it was heavily modified and improved for the final product. No generation is done in game.
Some sound effects and portions of the music soundtrack were created using AI-assisted audio tools. AI is used only as a creative aid for generating and polishing audio assets; it does not affect gameplay, player data, or in-game decision making.
I built Devil's Due as a weekend project, using Claude Opus for coding support and AI for the art assets (since I’m not exactly a 2D artist). I wanted to see if I could create something fun with AI assistance, and I really hope you guys enjoy playing it!
