Public Steam disclosure research 25,508 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

This game uses generative AI in a limited, supportive role during parts of the development process. Specifically, some background images and item images are based on assets generated with the help of generative AI and then manually edited and refined by the developer. Additionally, certain 3D models are created by modifying and adjusting AI-generated base models through manual work. The use of generative AI is limited to the art creation process only. No generative AI is used during gameplay, and no game content is generated or altered by AI at runtime.
Achievement icons are developed using GenAI image generation
AI is used in order to create a better background and focus on the core parts of the game, we use AI to help create some background art and minor NPCs in the story. After the AI generates these images, our artists still need to refine them to ensure that the style of the background and minor NPCs matches the environment, UI, and main characters drawn by our talented artists.
We use AI for the character illustrations.
Generative AI has been used for images in UI.
The puzzle images pre-rendered AI art
for BGM
Some artwork in this game was created with AI assistance and edited by the developer.
Game logo, banners, headers and game menu icons made with ai tools
Used for initial game assets (images, UI, music).
Use AI to generate some store page introductions.
This game was built using a blend of digital tools, custom created datasets and software, and AI asset generation. Human creativity and ingenuity can be positively amplified using AI. I hope this game can inspire independent creators and game designers to realize their own magic fairy fun dreams.
The background images and girls pictures are pre-rendered AI art
During the development process, we may use procedural- and AI-based tools to assist with content creation. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.
storepage capsule
“Some of the in-game 2D artwork was created with the assistance of generative AI tools.”
Game code is written with AI acceleration
We generated images for store page such as capsule art.
Utilized AI to refine drafts, generate some models, and compose the game's music
AI was used to assist in writing marketing text and game descriptions. The game itself does not use AI in gameplay or affect player experience.
There are two characters in the game that give a comedic running commentary of things that are happening in-game, things the player is doing and also as part of the tutorial to teach the player how to cook in the kitchen. The voices for these two characters are using pre-made AI generated sentences.
This game uses AI-generated artwork created with NovelAI for its character illustrations.
We used AI image-generation tools when creating some in-game images.
Please note that the audiovisual materials in this game (character illustrations, backgrounds, CG, BGM, voice acting) and some clips in the promotional video are AI-assisted creations. Here, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness and understanding. However, please rest assured that in this work, AI serves merely as a production tool, not as the creator of the work itself. This means that everything—from the initial concept and the collection of stylistic references, to repeated refinements in aspects such as character outfits, scene atmospheres, and continuous adjustments to the emotional delivery of voice acting—was independently handled by me. AI was only responsible for the final production phase. I also dislike fast-food-like workflows. For me, AI is a powerful production tool that compensates for my shortcomings, but the soul of the work always originates from human creativity. In any case, thank you for your attention and understanding. If you have any questions, feel free to message me anytime~
We use artificial intelligence to localize the game into some languages.
All the visuals were generated by AI.

Pre-Generated Content】: The majority of assets in this game were created using generative AI technologies: Artwork: Character sprites, backgrounds, and CG illustrations were generated using NovelAI, with manual selection and retouching by the developer. Music: Background music (BGM) and sound effects were generated using Suno V5. Voice Acting: All character voices were synthesized using the MiniMax speech model. Writing & Coding: Script polishing and coding assistance were provided by Gemini. The developer retains full control over all AI-generated content and has ensured that no illegal or infringing material is included. 【Live-Generated Content】: No / None.

Notice Regarding AI-Generated Content "To provide a more immersive visual experience within our limited resources, we have supplementally utilized generative AI technology to create a small number of photorealistic background images. All other character designs and core art assets have been handcrafted by our development team."
Board/scene backgrounds, some video footage and a few character variations are made with the help of generative AI. Video voiceovers are made with AI-powered text-to-speech services.
AI has been used for initial drafts of some of the images in the game.
1. Asset Creation: Generative AI was used to create base images for some backgrounds and non-character card illustrations (such as items or objects). All these assets have been manually edited and processed by the developer to fit the game's art style and ensure they are used appropriately. 2. Translation: AI is used, as the translation is primarily based on machine translation. 3. Real-time Generation: The game features an optional AI text generation system for exploration flavor text. This function is only activated if the player provides their own API endpoint. The generated text is based on in-game variables (player skills, partners, and floor names) and does not affect the core story or progression. It is a purely cosmetic addition for enhanced immersion.
This game includes content created with generative AI during development. No content is generated live during gameplay. Music: Some background music tracks were created using music generation AI (e.g. Suno AI). Images: Some illustrations and background images were created using image generation AI. This includes works created by the developer as well as works submitted by third parties through an open call and individual commissions. For submitted works, contributors confirmed the AI tools and external assets used, their ownership of necessary rights, that no third-party rights are infringed, and that commercial use is permitted.
Due to budget reasons, some of the music was generated with Suno AI, without reference to real artists.
Generative artificial intelligence was utilized to enhance specific loading screen images and to aid in text translation for localization purposes.
Enhanced and translated store page text using AI.
AI Usage in Visual Assets and Audio All AI-generated content has been manually reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer to ensure quality and coherence.
Reel Talk is made by Lost Rabbit Digital: two siblings who handle all the coding, music, writing, and playtesting ourselves, with help from one additional artist, and one musician. We're a tiny team with no outside funding. To keep up, we sometimes use AI tools to brainstorm or generate rough drafts. But nothing ships without our hands on it. Every line of code, every sprite, every track is reviewed, rewritten, and refined by us.
This game uses AI for some of its assets and portions of its coding.
All music in Orbit Armada is generated using AI tools. Each track is selected and curated by a human.
Some images and sound resources in the game are generated by AI and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Certain code segments and visual assets in this game are created with the assistance of AI generation.
The protagonist in the game is driven by a large language model.Additionally, Chika’s initial character illustration was generated using AI, with subsequent manual modifications and refinements applied thereafter.
Logo was generated by AI
It contains filtered and edited AI-generated content.
AI is partially used for translations.
As a solo indie developer, I use AI for multi-language localization. This helps me deliver a smoother, more accessible player experience while allowing me to focus more time on gameplay, systems, level design, and so on.
AI was used in designing the game's logo.
