Public Steam disclosure research 26,450 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
I've created the sound tracks using AI.
Game art may contain some generative AI aspects.
We are using AI for testing content and ideas, our future focus is to make all of the content traditionally by hand to bring a good work like early stages of development in the game. AI usage is mainly used for concept content and support during the most complicated parts from the development of the game, the entirety of Ghoul Fright core is hand made
Some UI icons and 3D models use generated AI.
Animating static images.
In this game Akpala, there is a feature that allows players to converse with NPC characters during gameplay. For the responses to the player's voice input, we use AI-generated text.
AI has been used to generate some icons and backgrounds.
Few images in-game are prepared using AI tools.
The main presentation photos in the store page and the presentation photos in the game library were generated using AI.
we use ai tools for code copilot and language translation
In the game are included images for cinematics, generated with a commercial image generation engine.
Part of graphics generated by AI.
Many of the images used in the game were generated by AI.
We have sections that use AI: 1. On the character selection page of the game, the character's voiceover is created by AI 2. On the character selection page of the game, the first version of the character's sketch is created by AI. Illustrations in the game's "event" system are created by AI.
Most of the art, backgrounds, characters, and dialogues were generated using different AI technologies and tools.
ChatWaifu does not include any large language models by default but supports importing custom large language model files by user. When interacting with the 3D character on the desktop via voice or keyboard input, ChatWaifu utilizes these models to generate and vocalize the conversation text.

The game is a research project into how the use of AI would affect game production, so AI has been used for images, voiceovers, code, dialogue and other areas as much as possible. Just to see what sort of results it provides.
Some visuals and audio are AI generated.
I used AI to create some of the music.
Due to budget constraints, some graphics in the game, such as the main interface and event images within events, are AI pre-generated.
In the localization of multi-language translation of the game, the developer uses translation software to translate the languages of different countries. The translation software describes the use of neural networks for translation, which I think may be related to AI translation; Since the developer does not understand the language of other countries, the developer does not have the funds to hire a professional translator, so the multi-language support is handled by translation software. Please forgive me if this automated translation causes any language offense, and please let me know. I will correct it in time. Sometimes you'll see me write words in English in parentheses, so that the translation software can correctly identify what I'm trying to say; In addition, the developers did not use AI to generate images, audio and other content;
To enhance the production process and ensure the highest quality of content, our game incorporates images created with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Additionally, we have utilized AI in the editing process of our extensive in-game texts, ensuring linguistic accuracy and the elimination of errors.
This game uses AI assistance to create some of the 2D art assets.
The game itself does not contain AI generated content at all. But the Steam main image and the Menu background image was created with AI support.
It has translations to the english that I got from I.A. and some of the animations during the gameplay as well.
Three images - out of almost 600 images, videos and other files files included in the game - were prepared using generative AI. The Case of Andrew D. is an Alternate Reality game and player is expected to look for information and clues on the web and in social media. While most pictures used are arranged photos taken in a real life and in real places, to avoid confusion we didn't want to use photos of real people. To make sure people referred to in the game (apart from some cameos) don't exist and can't be located nor stalked, three portrait photos used in the game were produced with AI models.
DeepVoice(from the unity asset store) asset is used to pre-generate some of the character voices in the game and in one of the trailers
AI used to assist with background paintings & VO.
The package image of this game was created using multiple AI tools. Part of the background image and background character: Created using Stable Diffusion and provided under the CreativeML Open RAIL-M license. Part of the logo design: Created by Sonic-Alpha using OpenAI's generative AI, "ChatGPT," under the paid "ChatGPT Plus" plan. No AI-generated elements are included in the main game or in-game content.
Some of the text displayed by this app may use AI translation or machine translation by LLM response.
AI images were generated for use on the store page and as loading screens within the game.
We generate Artwork with AI
Certain graphic elements and textures in this game were created through a combination of licensed generative AI and traditional composition, including some patterns for materials, certain user interface icons, and some character faces.
I plan on phasing out the AI generated content and replacing it with my own assets as development continues.
Used to create music and some artwork for the game
The game includes some temporary AI-generated content (such as images, sounds, or graphical elements) used solely to speed up the development process. All of these assets are provisional and will be progressively replaced with original materials as the project advances.
AI used for current page artwork ONLY. None is used in game.
Unlockable background images were AI-generated. We created tens of thousands of images, curated the best, and manually refined them with hours of inpainting and editing. AI coding tools assisted development. All gameplay mechanics, 22 language dictionaries, design, and concept are entirely hand-crafted.
Some music and graphical elements (ie. music that plays during scenes, pictures that display during scenes, etc.) were edited and/or created using AI. These technologies are used sparsely throughout the game, and the entirety of Cryspace's story, characters, UI elements, etc. were not created using any AI technologies.
Some of the story texts are AI-translated from Japanese.
DeepL has been used as a tool for aiding the translations, AI has been used for image generation (a complete list can be found in-game), a single song is AI-generated song (can you spot it? ;) It has been exclusively added for the Steam release. In a recent update, we also added optional AI-background music for a part of the game.
Some cutscenes and the game title are AI-generated images.
AI helped with store page text, and players may upload mods with AI content.

Voice messages in the game were created using a neural network
Some background images in the game have been generated with the help of artificial intelligence.
Our game utilizes AI to assist in creating in-game photographs.
