Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
SnapQuest uses live-generated AI as part of its core photo-scanning mechanic. When a player captures or selects a photo, a vision-language model analyzes the image and generates structured card content, including a card name, description, category, and gameplay attributes. The card artwork uses the player's submitted photo rather than an AI-generated replacement image. Generated results vary depending on the submitted photo.
Generative AI was used solely for the creation of a store/community icon associated with this product. No gameplay content, in-game assets, or soundtrack audio were generated using AI.
This game extensively utilizes AI technology in character design, UI, visual effects, sound effects, music, and promotional artwork to enhance production efficiency and explore innovative styles.
Generative AI was not used to create any game assets, artwork, capsule images, character designs, sounds, music, or voice recordings in Burger Smash. All in-game content was created by the development team or commissioned from human creators.
AI tools were used to assist with translating in-game UI text and store page descriptions into multiple languages for localization purposes. No other AI generated content exists within the game itself.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist in creating visual concept art, UI background textures, and promotional graphics, as well as providing development assistance for code optimization and localization text. All AI-assisted assets were pre-generated prior to release, curated, and manually edited by the developer. The game does not feature any live or real-time AI content generation during gameplay.
We use AI to speed up the drawings, but all materials has been heavily modified, over-painted, and refined by human artist. There is no live AI generation within the shipped game.
Astral Outpost was built by a solo developer working with AI tools. Some visual assets ( mostly marketing ) including the key art seen on the start screen and store page were created with generative AI and hand-finished. In-game text and its translations were drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the developer. Nothing is generated by AI while you play: every piece of content in the game is fixed and human-reviewed before it ships.
This game was created by a solo developer with substantial help from generative AI tools. Every output was reviewed by hand.

Ironwake contains pre-generated AI content. Some 2D art assets (character sprites, portraits, item illustrations,
backgrounds, and icon sets) were created using AI image-generation tools (PixelLab and MidJourney, plus licensed
third-party icon packs produced with Stable Diffusion). Some sound effects, ambient audio, and music tracks were created
using AI audio-generation tools (ElevenLabs). All AI-generated assets were reviewed, curated, and edited by the
developer. The game does not generate any content with AI at runtime, and no live AI models are accessed by the game.
Some visual assets in the game were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All gameplay systems, mechanics, and interactive content were developed by the team.
During development, AI-assisted and AI-generated tools were used for pre-generated player-facing content.
Our production workflow combines original human-created assets with AI-assisted or AI-generated content. AI tools were used to assist with text translation/localization, visual asset modification and refinement, and the generation of certain audio assets.
Most final assets are the result of a mixed workflow: they may include both original developer-created elements and AI-assisted or AI-generated elements. All final text, visual, and audio assets included in the game have been manually reviewed, edited, selected, and approved by the development team.
The game does not include live-generated AI content. It does not generate new text, images, audio, or other player-facing content through AI during gameplay.
The core gameplay of this game adopts an independent AI warlord confrontation system. All Three Kingdoms generals and regional lord NPCs make autonomous decisions on their own, and can independently launch alliances, declarations of war, diplomatic negotiations, grain supply trades, secret betrayals and other political strategic behaviors. In-game plot dialogues and interactions among warlords are dynamically generated by AI. A built-in content safety filter is activated throughout the game to prevent the generation of illegal, violent and inappropriate content.
AI was used to troubleshoot code and to draft isolated sections of the codebase, which I then finalized.
All graphics, UI, and music are made without AI.
AI was used for initial translation from English into other languages. Many translations were then reviewed and edited by native speakers.
This game's 3D environment was created with the help of AI-based 3D scene generation tools. Some marketing materials (trailer footage) were also created using AI image and video generation tools. No AI-generated content is created live during gameplay — all AI-assisted content was produced during development and is fixed at release.
AI has been used during the development of Blokkit to accelerate the process of writing code, creating some assets for the store page, and for writing translations into 7 different languages,
Generative AI is used in this game for both asset creation (such as UI elements and character visuals) and as a tool to assist in the development process (such as code organization). Every piece of content generated by AI is carefully reviewed and refined by the development team to ensure it meets our quality standards.
Some visual assets were created with the assistance of generative AI tools as part of the development process.
No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
The images and illustrations in Old Money (icons, scenes, backgrounds) as well as parts of the store artwork were created with generative AI image tools and were curated and edited by the developer. The program code and parts of the texts were also developed with the assistance of AI tools and were reviewed, tested and are the responsibility of the developer. The game concept, design and balancing come from the developer. No content is generated by AI at runtime, and the game does not send any data to AI services.
Generative AI was used in the game's art production for image creation and image enhancement.
Generative AI was used to translate the game's localized content.
This game uses content created or assisted by generative AI. Generative AI was used to help create and edit some visual assets, music/sound materials, and scripts. All final content was reviewed, selected, and adjusted by the developer before being included in the game.
Some pre-rendered UI art (menu borders and decorative icons) was created with the assistance of generative AI tools during development. No content is generated live during gameplay.
This game was originally written in Chinese, and all non-Chinese localizations were created with the assistance of AI translation.
A part of game music was created by AI.
All other content — artwork, game design — was created by the development team without the use of generative AI.
Some of the artwork in Arcanum Collegium — including character portraits and illustrations — was created with the help of generative AI tools. All AI-assisted art was reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer to match the game's overall visual style. No AI-generated content is created live during gameplay; everything you see was finalized before release.
Portions of this game's art and audio were created using generative AI tools during development: card and character artwork, backgrounds and icons (including store page artwork), music, sound effects, and voice audio were AI-generated under human direction, then curated and edited by the developers. Game design, rules, code, card text and names, and all narrative writing are human-authored. Nothing is generated by AI while you play.
Some of the art assets in this game (such as sprites, icons, and background images) were created with the help of AI generation tools during development. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer to ensure it is appropriate and fits the game. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
Generative AI Disclosure
During the development of SandSea Ark, we utilized generative AI tools (such as Claude) to assist with:
