Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

AI tools were used to assist in creating some visual and audio assets. All generated content was reviewed, edited, and curated by the solo developer. 30% of profits will be used to replace AI assets.
Some 2D UI elements and store assets were created with the help of generative AI and then hand-edited for the final game. Hive Haven does not use generative AI during gameplay. No user data is sent to AI services, and all in-game content is reviewed and authored for quality and appropriateness.
We use AI in early conceptual design, to figure out an appropriate background art. We then go through several iterations manually with artist modifications, to produce a good, highly polished background that gels well with our characters, story and intended art style.

Some visual assets, concept art, and textures in Santa’s Legacy were created using AI-assisted generation tools, then refined and integrated in Unity to match the game’s artistic direction.
While developing the game we used various AI software to generate background images for our levels. Overall, we created more than 20,000 image out of which we selected the ones to be used in this first game release. We then further edited these / combined them in a photo editor to create the final background renderings seen in the game. Some of these images are also visible on the Steam Store page. However, the game itself does not use on-the-fly generative AI while the game is running. All AI images were pre-rendered during the development phase.
We also used AI to generate background music for all levels. We create over two hundred hours of such music, and then edited these to better suite our needs. The game itself does not contain any real time generative AI for music.
Main logo picture is AI adjusted.

Some artwork / marketing images were created with AI assistance.
As a solo developer, it's really hard to work on everything, so I used some AI tools to help me along the way. I don't generate anything from scratch. Everything used in the game has been first designed, concepted, and sketched. Then used AI to improve on the design. Also, generated content has been modified after with image editors to fit and adapt to the vision and needs of the game. Some examples are: Textures for some objects, ui cohesion, English writing...

During development, AI-assisted tools were used to help generate 2D sprites (characters such as ghosts, bats, skeletons, etc.) and to assist in writing game object scripts and behaviors.
No AI system generates new code, text, or visuals while the game is running.
All AI-generated assets were reviewed, edited, and finalized by the developer before inclusion in the game.
The game contains no live-generated AI content.
We utilized Generative AI tools in the process of creating promotional images for the Store Page (such as title images, etc.). However, all core in-game content (characters, backgrounds, UI) and all assets and code related to gameplay were created by human developers. We ensure that all AI-generated content is managed to comply with Steam's guidelines and copyright policies.
We used artificial intelligence to create video stories, voice some characters, and enhance the visuals of some units. For the unit images, we used our own assets and then applied AI to improve and stylize them.
