Public Steam disclosure research 25,376 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Steam store background / images
During the Early Access stage, translations for languages other than English are provided using DeepL AI. We will continue to improve and refine these translations over time. No AI is used in the gameplay itself.
Generated images for some paintings and photographs using AI.
Some art and music resources are processed using AI plus manual work.
AI was used only for the logo. No in-game elements are AI-generated.
Some 2D UI elements and store assets were created with the help of generative AI and then hand-edited for the final game. Hive Haven does not use generative AI during gameplay. No user data is sent to AI services, and all in-game content is reviewed and authored for quality and appropriateness.
Some videos and images in this game are generated using artificial intelligence. AI tools were used to enhance visual effects and create unique scenes, carefully aligned with the game's art style.
In the process of writing the code, building the game world, as well as creating graphics and publishing the game, hints (as a consultation) from artificial intelligence were used. Generative AI was used to create text descriptions, translations into different languages, as well as the logo and graphic elements.
AI is used for generating game thumbnail with extra editing.
The music in the trailer has been made with AI. Some code elements have been made with AI-Assistance tooling. In game UI elements have been made with the use of generative AI.
Character and exercise equipment models created with AI
Some visual assets and music in the game were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All AI-generated elements were manually reviewed, edited, and integrated into the game by the developer. AI was used only as a creative tool during development, while the final design, gameplay systems, and overall game content were created and implemented by the developer. No generative AI is used during gameplay or in real-time by players.
This game does not include AI-driven gameplay elements. However, the store page features custom artwork generated using artificial intelligence to showcase the game’s theme.
This game uses generative AI to create some visual assets. Specifically, we used AI generated artwork for certain marketing materials on the Steam store (capsules, headers, and logos), as well as a limited number of in-game illustrative images. All AI generated content has been reviewed, edited, and approved by our team to ensure originality, consistency, and compliance with Steam’s content policies. The gameplay itself, core art assets, and all game systems were created directly by our team.
Some textures include visual elements partially created with AI (e.g., artwork on a CD cover). All final assets were assembled, edited, and implemented by the developer.
One of the sky textures is AI-generated.
The game itself does not include any AI-generated content. AI-generated tools were used solely to assist in creating some of the promotional material displayed on this Steam page.
Capsule images are AI-generated.
AI generates some of the textures for this game and the marketing materials (media files , images)
The game itself does not include any AI-generated content. AI-generated tools were used solely to assist in creating some of the promotional material displayed on this Steam page.
In this game, AI was used to portray the characters.
AI was used to create the music in our trailer and some visuals used in the game.
Some of the text on this game's store page, promotional descriptions, and metadata was created with the help of artificial intelligence tools during the development process. In addition, all of the music in the game (the lyrics for the main menu music were written by the developer) and some of the wall decorations were also created using AI. All content created by AI has been manually reviewed and edited by the developer for accuracy and style.
AI was used only for the logo. No in-game elements are AI-generated.
We used AI to create the Steam Capsule of the game
Embassy Says No uses a local LLM to generate unique replies for every player and enables you to interview the visa applicant via the chat function.
Roughly 50% of the music is currently AI generated. We plan on replacing this music throughout Early Access.
We used AI to generate marketing materials.
We let AI lend a creative hand with the capsule art—because why not let the robots handle the pretty pictures while we wrestle with code and ketchup physics?
We utilized AI to design the capsules for the game's store page. We also utilized it to create some in-game icons.
During the development of the game, we used AI as an auxiliary tool in the early stages. Artificial intelligence assisted with background generation, but all elements were significantly reworked and refined by our team. We focused on details, style, and quality to ensure a unique and polished visual aesthetic for the game.
The game uses some assets that were previously created with AI (like icons and store capsule images, etc...)
Special Note: All card artworks in this game are first generated by AI and then secondarily designed and processed for the card face.
Only the logo for Steam Graphics was created using an AI program.
In game there is laptop menu background that image is generated by ai.
For this project, some images in the game were created using artificial intelligence tools. This technology was used in a limited way, only for visual generation, with all other content produced manually.
Artificial Intelligence image generation was used for our Steam store capsules and store assets (not for screenshots nor anything in-game).
We used AI to help write some of the code for the game, as well as to help generate some of the story beats and upgrade descriptions
We used AI to create the capsules for the game's store page.
We are using AI generated images for our store page materials and some in-game visuals (some icons etc.).
The game includes over 1,000 movie posters that were converted into pixel-art using an AI tool and then manually retouched by the team. This approach was chosen because pixeling each poster entirely by hand would have been too time-consuming for a small team. All other visuals and animations in the game were drawn and animated entirely by hand. In the long run, the team plans to gradually replace these posters with original, hand-drawn artwork after the game’s release.
We have used AI to generate marketing and store content.
Artificial intelligence was used to create a few visual elements, such as the logo, the loading screen background, and the Steam store banners. No other aspects of the game or live-generated content rely on AI. These elements aim to enhance the game's visual appeal and its presentation on Steam without affecting gameplay.
