Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game makes limited use of generative artificial intelligence during development.
Generative AI tools were used by the developer to assist with code prototyping, internal scripts, concept imagery, and promotional materials during the development process. All AI-generated content is reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer.
Father, PhD student, and Software Engineer during the day; game developer at night. This game was developed solo by me over two years, with no significant budget, and before AI was cool: #realindie #livingthedream. All visual assets and other in-game content were created by humans or purchased from human creators. The only exception is the voice work, which was produced using paid professional voice synthesis software rather than human voice actors due to budget limitations (#realindie #solodev). If the game generates enough revenue and there is community interest, I plan to replace it with real voice acting in a future version.
Generative AI has been used to create some illustrations and visual assets in the game.
All AI-generated content was created prior to release and is not generated during gameplay.
Some visual art assets displayed within the in-game gallery were created using generative AI tools. These images were manually curated, edited, and selected by the developer to fit the game's psychological themes and narrative structure. No live generation occurs during gameplay.
No pixel art in this game was generated using artificial intelligence. Some of the game’s artwork was created using artificial intelligence, but it was modified and/or processed before being added to the game.
Artificial Intelligence is part of the lore behind this project, but it leans heavily towards balance between humans and AI. - The friend bots within this app can be disabled and reprogrammed by you! - With each update, the machine will become more user friendly. The goal is to create jobs by allowing anyone to become their employer starting here. Placeholders and maintenance may be generated in some projects for demonstrations and further editing. Every update here is free once you own a copy.
We use pre-generated AI assets for background images. However, we do not use any raw AI-generated content directly. All AI-generated images are strictly used only as a base and are manually retouched and polished by human artists
Satarichi: Heroes De Caelum is a work based on the original intellectual property of Jose Luis Matias Martinez (Rol, 2012; Novela, 2025), with character designs by Artemio Guevara. Generative AI has been used exclusively as technical assistance for the animation of original art and in the production of soundtrack segments, integrated with compositions under commercial license. All material has been supervised and edited manually.
Generative A.I. that was used in the game:
Coding for the Select Arrow, that replaces the default RPG Maker selection highlight, moving left and right (the actual arrow is not A.I. generated)
Coding for the Select Arrow changing depending where in the game you are (the arrows themselves are not A.I. generated)
Coding for the Enemy Health Numbers appearing
Coding for checking if both the player and enemy are at 1 HP (not the actual heartbeat event itself)
This game uses pre-generated AI art assets for its store page and in-game visuals. All AI-generated content has been reviewed and edited by human artists to ensure quality and compliance.
This game was developed by a solo creator using generative AI tools to assist in the creation of visual assets (including environmental textures, character portraits, and UI elements) and background music. All AI-generated content has been manually reviewed, edited, and integrated to ensure it fits the game's horror atmosphere and narrative.
This is a genuine work of 'Cyber-Stitching.' We employed a never-tiring AI assistant to handle the code architecture (composed of 50% blind faith and 50% compiler errors) and some generative architectural models. The student developer's primary role was cheering the AI on from a dorm room and stitching these scattered soul fragments into the underground space you see now. To be honest, without the AI’s infinite patience, this pile of 'crispy' code garbage wouldn't even exist.
This game includes some pre-generated content created with the assistance of generative AI tools, including certain visual assets and audio. All gameplay systems and remaining assets were created by the developer. No AI-generated content is created or modified during gameplay.
Coding and translation were assisted by AI tools and reviewed by human.
All artwork, animations, music, stage design, and gameplay mechanics are 100% handmade.
Some 3D visual assets were generated using Tripo AI.
All designs were originally created and directed using GPT and are unique to this project.
The assets do not replicate or reuse content from any existing games or copyrighted works.
Use of Generative AI
This Demo was developed by a solo developer using generative artificial intelligence as a primary development tool. AI was used to generate visual assets (images) and to generate the game’s source code. All AI-generated code and assets were reviewed, tested, and integrated by the developer to ensure proper functionality, stability, and alignment with the intended gameplay experience.
