I’m a solo developer doing my first-ever coding project. With no prior coding experience, I relied heavily on tons of tutorials to write the code and used AI to assist when troubleshooting some bugs. I also used AI to generate some of the project's visual content and images but mainly tried to use actual human work. It's been a massive learning experience, so thanks for your time, and I hope you can enjoy my project :)
Some graphic and sound assets included in the game were created using generative AI tools during development. The game does not use real-time generative AI and does not connect to external AI services during gameplay.
All spoken roles were performed by the developer, Morph. Those recordings were then transformed into different character voices and accents using AI voice conversion and further processed with Logic Pro.
AI tools are used to assist with the localization of in-game and store page text into other languages. All translations are reviewed by the development team and improved with community feedback.
Some marketing artwork (store capsules and promotional images) was created with AI assistance, based on the game's own assets, characters and art style. All in-game content, gameplay, art assets and audio design are created by the development team.
The game's design, rules, simulation, scenarios, and text are all authored by people. Some event background illustrations and background music were produced with generative tools run in-house by the development team, and every asset was then accepted or rejected by a human. The game does not generate any content while it runs.
Programming: AI tools (Cursor) were utilized to assist with drafting partial code blocks and isolated scripts. The overall core logic, architecture, and system design were manually programmed by the developer.
Art Assets: An AI image generator (PixelLab) was used to help conceptualize and generate some of the pixel art assets. These assets were manually reviewed and integrated to fit the game's retro aesthetic.
Localization / Translation: AI translation tools were used to assist in translating in-game text and store page descriptions into multiple languages.
This game uses a mix of human and generative AI tools. AI was used in some visual art assets, code generation, and portions of the store page text. All writing in the game, voice acting, and music are fully human-created.
This game uses generative artificial intelligence to create dynamic content during gameplay. AI systems may generate political advice, news articles, speeches, social media posts, events, narrative responses, and other text-based content based on player actions and the current game state. AI-generated content is intended to enhance replayability and create unique gameplay experiences. Some store, library, and character artwork was created with the assistance of generative AI image tools.
Artificial intelligence was used as an auxiliary tool in production, including the creation of pre-generated voices and dubbing. The game does not use real-time generative AI and does not contain AI-generated images, 3D models, or animations.
Salvo uses generative AI in a limited, pre-rendered capacity:
• Voice Acting: NPC dialogue throughout the campaign is voiced using ElevenLabs text-to-speech technology. All voice lines are generated, reviewed, and bundled with the game during development. No voice synthesis occurs at runtime.
• Visual Assets: Select concept art, promotional materials, and supplementary illustrations (such as wiki imagery) were created with assistance from AI image generation tools and reviewed by the development team before inclusion.
• Marketing Materials: The game's trailer voiceover and certain store page assets were produced with AI assistance.
All AI-assisted content has been reviewed by the developer prior to release. The game does not generate, transmit, or produce any AI content during gameplay — all in-game audio, visuals, and text are pre-rendered and ship with the game.
As a solo developer, I’ve used AI-assisted tools to create some of the game’s assets. My goal is to replace these with fully hand-drawn artwork created by a professional artist.
AI is being used to do automated testing and code review. AI and Google Translate were used to generate the initial set of translations. There are currently people working on localization - it is just going to take time. If you would like to help with the localization please see: https://weblate.kuhnflix.app/ (I would appreciate your assistance!)
In The Hollow, artificial intelligence is used to enhance images, create the basis for certain textures, and ensure more accurate translations. Some of the characters’ faces could not have been created without processing their images using artificial intelligence. Furthermore, some of the generated results served as the basis for further manual refinement of the game assets.
This game uses generative AI tools to assist with some pre-generated visual assets, including background art, character-related promotional art, item imagery, and store page materials. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, selected, and edited by the developer before release. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
To push the creative boundaries of our small team, we used AI-powered audio tools to assist in the generation of certain audio assets. These assets were heavily curated, edited, and refined by our sound designers to ensure they align perfectly with the game's atmosphere and unique artistic vision.
The game features a blend of meticulously handcrafted and AI-generated sprites, carefully selected through extensive and challenging AI prompting to create a unique and visually appealing art style.
Live Through Time utilizes the Gemini 2.5 Flash AI model to act as a dynamic, interactive historian. All narrative text, NPC dialogue, character biographies, and world events are generated live in real-time based entirely on player input. The game contains no pre-written scripts; instead, the AI calculates the historical causality of your actions to create a completely unique, unscripted roleplaying experience.
There are images produced that have been rendered using the help of Ai, there are also musical components that have been engineered with the use of Ai.
This game uses generative AI tools to create certain 3D models, 2D visuals, audio, localization, and the intro video. All content has been reviewed and edited.
This game uses AI-assisted images, text, and code created during development; all content was reviewed and edited by the developer, and no AI content is generated during gameplay.
Based on our Frontline 1 assets, we've leveraged the innovative capabilities of AI to elevate our visuals by enhancing the graphics for some of the background & art images.
> The player’s two robotic companions, the assistant Helena and the radio host, use AI voice synthesis.
> Some visual assets, such as menu art, environmental textures, and achievement icons, were created with the help of AI image generation.
