### Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence
During the development of this game, I used generative artificial intelligence tools to assist me with various aspects of its creation.
AI was mainly used to create and/or improve certain visual elements of the game, including images and PNG files used in different graphical elements.
It also assisted me in creating the game’s trailer, as well as with certain scripts and technical elements that were particularly complex to implement. In these situations, AI was used as an assistance tool to help me develop, adapt, and finalize certain elements.
The use of artificial intelligence does not mean that the game was entirely created by AI. The game’s design, artistic direction, gameplay, development, and final integration of the different elements were carried out and supervised by me.
I want to be transparent with players regarding the use of these technologies in the creation of the game.
Some pre-generated visual assets used in Roulettegeddon, including portions of promotional artwork and certain in-game visual elements, were created or refined with the assistance of generative AI. The game's gameplay, mechanics, and player progression do not rely on AI-generated content during play.
Generative AI tools were utilized for auxiliary purposes in the production of some assets. These assets were modified and supplemented by professional art personnel and were finally applied to the game.
Generative AI was used to create and/or assist with some promotional and marketing materials for the game, including store capsule artwork, cover images, and other store page visuals. Generative AI was not used to generate gameplay content or content during gameplay.

Game Arena X uses AI-generated content only to a very limited extent. A small number of UI elements were initially created with the assistance of AI, after which they were extensively refined, adjusted, and customized by our in-house design team.
All other aspects of Game Arena X — including the platform’s concept, visual design, competitive systems, gameplay features, user experience, and overall development — are entirely original and created by our team.
Artificial intelligence tools were used as part of the development process for selected visual and audio elements, design references, and text translations. All final content was reviewed and curated by the development team.
3D models for props and buildings have been generated with code developed by AI. The game splash screens and logo have been generated by AI. Music is generated live with code developed by AI.
We use generative AI across all disciplines of game development with heavy amounts of human editing. That involves audio and visual art. We use it as a productivity tool so we can achieve a higher level of quality, faster, than we would have been able to.
During development, generative AI was used to create initial drafts for some in-game 2D icons, which were then manually retouched. Generative AI was also used to remix original melodies composed and whistled by the developer into background music.
There are several AI generated models, and their textures. Which will likely continue to be the only AI use in the game, other than the use of AI for coding help. But this game is far from "vibe coded."
There is no AI generated text, and will never be. There are currently no AI generated sounds, there may be a few added depending on achievability without.
The text will always and forever be written by a human, me, Andrew Labreck. As the story is the driving factor for me making this entire game.
Likely, the music will continue to be human produced as well.
The game does not generate AI content during play.
Generative AI tools assisted development and contributed to some pre-generated content used in the game or its marketing. All shipped content was selected, edited, reviewed, and integrated by the development team, and the final product reflects our own creative direction.

RingOut uses generative AI to create part of its content. Some 2D artwork (character illustrations, key art and store/marketing images) and some audio (music and/or sound effects) were created with generative AI tools during development, then reviewed, edited and integrated by the developer. All 3D models are hand-made. No content is generated by AI in real time during gameplay.
During Early Access, AI placeholders might be used in lieu of handcrafted assets to speed up development and to improve the game’s visual fidelity. It is currently our plan to gradually replace all AI-generated assets by the final release.
Generative AI was used as an assistive tool in preparing parts of the game’s Steam store presence and marketing materials. This includes some store page artwork and promotional assets, short and long descriptions, store metadata, and localized versions of these materials.
All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and approved by the development team before publication. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
Some visual assets and promotional images were created with generative AI tools and later reviewed, modified, and integrated by the developer. No generative AI content is created during gameplay.
AI-assisted tools were used in a limited capacity during development, including for some visual assets and text proofreading. All resulting content was reviewed, edited, and finalized manually by the development team.
AI was used solely as a supportive development tool. The game's creative direction and final content were created and developed by the team.
Some of the assets in this game were created with the help of generative AI tools: part of the background music and sound effects, some of the 2D images and textures used in the game and on the store page, some of the 3D models, and part of the source code. Every AI-assisted asset was reviewed and adjusted by the developer before it was included in the game, and we do not knowingly use material that infringes the rights of third parties. This game does not generate any content with AI while it is running; NPC dialogue is randomly selected from text written in advance by the developer.
AI tools were used during development to assist with concept art, visual references, and certain promotional assets. All gameplay systems, mechanics, and core design were created and implemented by the development team.
AI was used strictly as a supportive tool and does not directly control gameplay or player experience.
Generative AI was occasionally used to prototype assets and give ideas\reference for assets. It was also occasionally used to generate normal maps on textures I had created. Sometimes this had disastrous results.
