This game uses generative AI tools to help create static visual assets, including card illustrations and background artwork. All AI-generated content is produced during development and does not change during gameplay — nothing is generated in real time.
Generative AI was used as an assistant throughout development, and the developer reviewed and approved everything before it shipped.
It helped draft part of the in-game text, some of the marketing copy, and the scripts that generate the artwork and the audio.
No image or audio file came out of a generative model: every sprite, glyph, sound effect and music track is drawn or synthesised by deterministic code, and the same script always produces the same pixels and the same samples.
The game does not generate any content with AI while you play.
Pre-generated only. Nothing is generated live while the game runs, and the game makes no network calls of any kind.
2D card illustrations were produced with an AI image tool from hand-written art-direction prompts, then cropped, recoloured and composited by hand into the game's painted card frames. A small number of 3D prop meshes were produced with an image-to-3D model (Microsoft TRELLIS, MIT licensed) and edited before use; most world geometry is built procedurally in code rather than generated. Ambient beds and music were produced with an AI music tool against a fixed written spec (key of D, 72 BPM, fades in from silence, no climax) and are mixed and crossfaded by the game's own audio code.
All code, game design, UI layout, in-game text and store text are human-authored. Some combat sound effects are CC0 samples from Freesound.
No player data is sent to any AI service.
Generative AI was used during the development of this game to assist with portions of the artwork, programming, and translation. All generated content was reviewed and edited by the developer as necessary.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with selected pre-generated 3D assets, translations into additional languages, and marketing artwork. Polish and English source texts were written by the developer. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
AI-generated content was used for some 2D artwork, loading screen assets, and some secondary 3D models. I reviewed, edited, and integrated all AI-assisted content into the game. The main game systems, world design, gameplay, narrative, and historical research were created and developed by me.
Some questions and answers in our quiz game are generated using AI. Additionally, we utilized pre-generated AI images included in the capsules and for in-game assets.
The background were generated using Midjourney, painted over and edited by the Lornn (https://lornn.itch.io/)
Backgrounds will be replaced with original artwork.
This application uses local AI technology for interaction, although the chosen TTS and STT plugins have not yet been selected because the word game is still under development.
However, it is confirmed that plugins from the FAB marketplace will be used. And AI processing will run offline on player's device. No internet connection will be required.
The game's initial photos were taken from free resources and stock photos. AI was used to accelerate image processing to match the game's style, as envisioned by the author.
Generative IA was used for the translation and localization of in-game text and store page content into multiple languages. This helped ensure natural-sounding phrases for the voice recognition system.
Some in-game audio content, such as radio dialogue and in-game radio music may be generated using artificial intelligence tools. These elements are used to enhance immersion and provide dynamic environmental storytelling.
All gameplay systems, mechanics, and core content are designed and implemented by the developer.
AI-generated images may be used as rough drafts for background and item artwork. Any AI-generated output is always edited by an illustrator before use and is never used in the final work as-is.
No AI was used to write the storyline or visual assets in the game. All of it is my own creative work. However, AI was used to assist in the creation of game artwork used for the store page and for helping craft and improve store descriptions.
During the development of this game, we utilized generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology to assist in the creation of certain game art assets, narrative text, game content, programming, and localized translations. All AI-generated content has been manually reviewed, modified, and integrated by our development team to ensure it aligns with game design, meets quality standards, and maintains originality.
Some visual assets and artistic elements in this project were created or refined with the assistance of generative AI tools during development.
All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated manually to ensure consistency with the game’s artistic vision and narrative themes.
Generative AI is not used in real-time during gameplay.
Voice Acting- AI generated voices used in trailer for few seconds only. Major announcements in the game such as achievements, game saved loaded also uses AI for few seconds only.
Generative AI was used during the development process to create static background textures, minor prop details (e.g., labels), and voiceovers. Voice assets were created using AI voice synthesis/changer tools based on the developer's original vocal recordings. All AI-generated assets were manually reviewed and implemented. No AI is used to generate content in real-time while the game is running.
Generative artificial intelligence has been used only for marketing and promotional materials, such as concept imagery and visual assets created for external marketing purposes.
No generative AI tools are used within the game itself. All in-game content, including gameplay systems, environments, characters, narrative elements, audio, and animations, is entirely handcrafted by the development team.
The store page description, gameplay experience, and all playable content do not rely on live-generated or pre-rendered AI-generated assets.
AI was only used to enhance images we already had, giving them a look more in line with the game style. Its use was limited solely to images for the store page and game icons.
Generative AI is used only for pre generated assets: Voice lines in the indoctrination video (also used in the trailer) and the game’s logo in store materials. No AI is used at runtime, and all other content is handcrafted.
AI has been used to fill in art, music and code due to lack of sufficient resources available. This is not satisfactory in the long run.
The ambition is to eventually replace all AI content with proper man-made assets assuming the revenue increases. I apologize for the slop, but we will have to bear it for now.
Very limited use of AI generated content:
The city skyline image, and dialogue from text-to-speech are the only items/content where an AI tool was used. *The relevant AI platforms' subscription tier clarified full ownership of content and uniqueness of rendered content. Also, allowance of both commercial and non-commercial legal use is permissible with regard to both platforms used.
We use generative AI across all disciplines of game development with heavy amounts of human editing. That involves audio and visual art. We use it as a productivity tool so we can achieve a higher level of quality, faster, than we would have been able to.
We have used a small amount of AI-generated content only as placeholders during development. All final game assets, store page materials, and marketing content will be created by our team and replaced before release. No AI is used to generate content or code during gameplay.
