This game was made with the help of AI tools. Parts of the in-game text, the store page artwork and text, and the trailer (including its music) were created with AI assistance and reviewed by the developer. No content is generated by AI while you play.

Pixora was developed with AI-assisted tools, which were used to support certain aspects of coding and the creation of promotional materials for the store page. All AI-generated content used in the project is permitted for commercial use under the applicable licenses.

Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with the creation and refinement of certain pre-generated 2D visual assets, including environment artwork, character sprites, and store marketing images. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and edited by the developer before inclusion. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay, and the game does not connect to any external AI service.

We are a two-person indie team with over a decade of real-world game development experience. Pat has been making games for 10 years, and Nate was a professional working artist long before generative AI tools existed. We know AI in games is a dealbreaker for some folks, and we struggle with how much to use it ourselves. We want to be completely upfront about how we built this so you have the full picture: - Visuals: We used generative AI alongside our standard software to speed up ideation and automate tedious tasks. Every final in-game element is as handmade as any other pre-LLM digital art. Most of the icons were licensed from a third-party. - Code: We used AI assistants for pair-programming and troubleshooting complex engine logic on a project that two non-engineers couldn't otherwise build alone. The app bundles the Stable Audio 3 Small (Music) model from Stability AI, used under the Stability AI Community License, and runs it entirely on your own device. Generation happens offline on your GPU or CPU - no cloud service is involved, no account is required, and no data is sent anywhere. Music featured in our trailer was generated using Rippusion itself.

Despite game is simulating the AI, all conversations are hard coded and written by person. AI was used to generate the names and descriptions for some items, but it was manually reviewed by developer.

Some assets like the games base cover art images are generated by AI so we can provide a large curated selection for each genre, topic and gaming generation.

After manual screening, modification, and style unification, they are packaged into the game. All AI-generated art assets have been reviewed manually one by one, confirming that they do not contain any violations such as violence or pornography, and no copyrighted third-party assets have been used as input for generation. The AI tools used all have commercial use licenses. Code (pre-generated): Some game logic code is generated with AI assistance during the development stage. After manual review, testing, and modification, it is compiled and packaged. The game does not call AI to generate code in real-time during runtime. During the game's runtime, there is no AI-generated content in real-time. All AI-generated content visible to players are pre-generated static resources.

AI-Generated code has been used to help speed up development, debug code, and optimize core systems. All engine architecture, structural logic, and tool designs remain fully custom-built from scratch. The final compiled software consists entirely of human-written and human-reviewed code to ensure strict stability, performance, and integrity.

The application itself contains no AI-generated content and uses no generative AI at runtime, your recordings are processed entirely on your own PC by ffmpeg, with no AI involved and nothing uploaded. Some of the text on this store page and related marketing copy was drafted with the help of a generative AI writing assistant, then reviewed and edited by the developer for accuracy. The app's logo and capsule/library artwork are generated programmatically by the developer's own code (procedural rendering), not by generative AI.

PyxelAid includes optional AI-assisted image processing filters that users can apply to their own imported images. These filters may enhance, clean, upscale, simplify, recolor, or restore pixel-art images based on the user's input. The app does not generate text, code, dialogue, or autonomous content during use. Users control the input images and decide whether to save or share the resulting outputs.

The store page was originally written in Chinese. All other language versions, including English, were translated using AI (the same engine the product itself uses), then reviewed by a human before publishing. No other store assets are AI-generated.
