Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Some store page artwork, the voices in the trailers and the sample phrases included with the app were created with the help of AI tools.
While you use the app, the text you type is converted into speech by AI speech synthesis: VOICEVOX and Kokoro running on your PC, Windows built-in voices, cloud services you choose to use with your own API key (Google Gemini TTS, ElevenLabs), or speech engines you install and run yourself (VOICEVOX-compatible engines, Irodori-TTS). The app never writes text on its own; it only reads aloud what you type.
Generative AI was used to assist in the creation of some promotional artwork for ENCYCLORA, including selected graphical assets used on the Steam store page. The ENCYCLORA application itself does not use generative AI and does not generate AI content during use.
Generative AI was used to create some of the visual artwork used in the application and on the Steam Store page. AI-assisted tools were also used during development to help generate and refine portions of the application's code. No generative AI is used during runtime, and all AI-assisted content was reviewed and integrated as part of the development process.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with the creation and refinement of some static promotional artwork, interface text, and localization. All AI-assisted material was reviewed and edited by the developer before inclusion. The application does not generate content during use and does not connect to any external AI service.
AI tools were used to support portions of the development process. All product decisions, rigorous testing, review, and final releases remain under full human direction and oversight.
Art assets (pre-generated): In-game scene backgrounds, UI icons, and store page promotional images are generated using Doubao as initial drafts. After manual screening, modification, and style unification, they are packaged into the game. All AI-generated art assets have been reviewed manually one by one, confirming that they do not contain any violations such as violence or pornography, and no copyrighted third-party assets have been used as input for generation. The AI tools used all have commercial use licenses.
Code (pre-generated): Some game logic code is generated with AI assistance during the development stage. After manual review, testing, and modification, it is compiled and packaged. The game does not call AI to generate code in real-time during runtime.
During the game's runtime, there is no AI-generated content in real-time. All AI-generated content visible to players are pre-generated static resources.
The game contains pre-generated 2D artwork created with the assistance of generative AI tools during development. This includes some character artwork, backgrounds, UI elements, and promotional/library artwork. All assets were manually reviewed and edited before inclusion. The game does not generate any content using AI while running.
OverlayGG's in-game guides are written with the help of generative AI. We use large language models to research and condense publicly available information about each game into concise reference guides. All guides are generated ahead of time and stored in our catalog — nothing is generated live while you play. You can flag any guide for correction directly in the app. Some of our store-page and marketing artwork is also created using AI image tools.
Generative AI was utilized to produce the mockup video game background you see on the store page. The framepacer application itself does not include AI-generated material.
AI tools were used to assist in creating some store page descriptions and promotional graphics. The game itself does not use AI-generated content during gameplay.
Wallpaper Animator uses generative AI. Your prompt creates a still image, which you can then animate into a looping video. Both run on third-party AI services.
Generative AI was used to aid in the preparation of store visuals and multi-language localization. The final content is not entirely AI-generated, as it has undergone significant manual inspection, confirmation, and refinement to ensure quality.
Generative AI tools are used solely to create certain pre-generated game content and marketing materials (including images, video advertisements, and narrative elements). In addition, AI-assisted tools may be used to support customer service operations, subject to appropriate oversight and quality controls. All AI-assisted content undergoes human review, editing, and approval prior to publication. No live or real-time AI generation occurs during gameplay, and users are not able to prompt or otherwise interact with any AI systems to generate content. Certain materials produced by third-party vendors may incorporate AI-assisted tools; however, all such materials are pre-rendered and subject to human review and approval prior to release.
Portions of the visual artwork used in Crosshair Control — including logos, branding elements, and certain graphical assets — were created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools.
All AI-generated assets were reviewed, edited, and approved by the developer before inclusion in the final product. The application does not use generative AI to create live or dynamic content for users. No AI systems are used during runtime.
This application does not use AI during gameplay.
AI tools were used during development to assist with code writing and to create some pre-rendered images used in the store page and marketing materials. No AI systems are included in the final application, and no AI-generated content is created at runtime.
Our art team uses AI to help spur along early stage concept art and ideas. From there, our art team develops unique art that is inspired by those concepts.
