While you use the app, the text you type is converted into speech by AI speech synthesis: VOICEVOX and Kokoro running on your PC, Windows built-in voices, cloud services you choose to use with your own API key (Google Gemini TTS, ElevenLabs), or speech engines you install and run yourself (VOICEVOX-compatible engines, Irodori-TTS).
