In-game content
audioart
The in-game music and soundtrack are created using Suno (generative AI). All visual art is produced procedurally through code. Development used an AI coding assistant (Claude), which is a development-efficiency tool; it does not generate any content live at runtime. No generative AI runs during gameplay.

Netshell
Live AI
text
Netshell uses AI to power its characters. The NPCs you meet on the in-game forums and IRC read what is happening in your playthrough and respond in character, so their messages and forum posts are generated rather than pre-scripted, and each player's world unfolds differently. All of this runs locally and offline: the AI models ship with the game and run on your machine. Netshell never connects to a third-party AI service such as ChatGPT or Claude. You can turn the AI off entirely, in which case the NPCs stop chatting and the game continues with its authored story. Some Steam store and trailer assets were created with AI assistance and then edited/curated by the development team. During gameplay, Netshell only uses AI to generate in-character NPC text.

bossMan
Dev only
codetext
bossMAN uses generative AI as part of a user-directed software-development workflow. Some store, brand, or visual materials may have been created or refined with AI-assisted tools and reviewed by the developer before use. During use, bossMAN may display, organize, summarize, route, or help review AI-generated development output from a separately installed and authenticated user-configured backend, such as Codex, or a user-configured local LLM runtime if supported. This may include coding plans, project summaries, code review notes, command proposals, implementation guidance, documentation drafts, and source-code suggestions. bossMAN does not include ChatGPT, Codex, OpenAI API access, AI usage credits, paid AI subscriptions, local LLM runtimes, model files, or model licenses. AI-generated output may be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for a user's project, and users should review it for accuracy, relevance, and project fit before using or applying it.

Key story CGs were hand-sketched or 3D-posed by the author before final production. Background music was generated with AI assistance.
