ArchmageSteamInitial concept art was generated using AI tools, followed by manual adjustments and modifications by artists.
Draw My HomeSteamAI‑generated music is used in this game, and some artwork was created with reference to AI‑generated images.
SAAM TacticsSteamAI translated languages
Factory New IdleSteamAI tools were used during development to assist with asset creation, texture generation, and development workflows. All AI-generated content was reviewed, modified, and curated by the development team.
Just Make Sense: Instinct LabSteamSome pre-rendered assets were created with the help of generative AI during development: 2D line-art images (mascot sprites, badges, store artwork), portions of the game code, and drafts of store/in-game text (human-reviewed). Nothing is generated at runtime, and the game never connects to any AI service while you play. Sound effects are procedurally synthesized without AI.
Chief? About That File...SteamGenerative AI was used during development to generate suspect mugshot photos, dossier case texts, and to assist with language localization. All generated assets are static and pre-packaged into the game.
Grandpa's LegacySteamSome visual assets in Grandpa's Legacy (including expedition artwork and selected store/marketing images) were created or assisted with generative AI tools, then curated and edited by the development team. No generative AI runs during gameplay, and the game does not connect to external AI services while you play.
Kebab Shop SimulatorSteamAI has been used to generate capsule art as well as in-game dialogue. NPC voices are AI
Ragtag FleetSteamGenerative AI was used to assist in creating select art assets, which were reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. All gameplay, programming, and overall design were created by the development team.
Fatal LogicSteamSome art is either produced using AI or directly inspired by it.
Fishing SpotSteamEnvironments and environmental artwork are not created using generative AI. Generative AI is used as part of the early development workflow for prototyping some creature artwork, which is going to be replaced during development.
100K ZOMBIESSteamAI is used to generate a portion of the in-game imagery.
Chronime Puzzle: AnimalsSteamThe background images and animals pictures are pre-rendered AI art
Coquí Crusader: Defenders of BorikénSteamCoquí Crusader was made with AI-assisted tools under the developer's direction. The coquí mascot logo and the background music were AI-generated. AI coding assistance was used to build the game and to help write its in-game and store text, all reviewed by the developer. Every design decision was made by the developer: the mechanics, the progression and balance, and the Puerto Rican setting — the ten zones based on real landmarks, the folklore creatures from Taíno legend, and the Spanish localization. No content is generated during gameplay, and the game never connects to any external AI service.
Ascend Idle: ChroniclesSteamSome of the promotional artwork, store page banners, and/or trailer visuals for Ascend Idle: Chronicles were created with the assistance of Generative AI tools. The core game code and design were developed entirely by hand as a solo project.
Popcorn & PremierenSteamGenerative AI was used during development to create pre-generated artwork (including fictional film posters and marketing images), narration, and some text and translations. These are fixed assets shipped with the game. No generative AI runs during gameplay, and no player input is sent to an external AI service.
TCG Card ChaosSteamGenerative AI was used to create some of the illustrations featured on collectible cards. The card layouts and designs were manually created and edited.
TERRA: 地表逻辑SteamAll simulation, art, audio and text in Terra Logic are hand-made — the game ships with no AI-generated content and makes no network requests by default. One optional feature can generate text at runtime: the "whisper" narrator, a single one-line ambient caption. By default it composes lines from a built-in, hand-written phrase library. Players who supply their own Anthropic (Claude) API key in a local config file may enable AI-generated phrasing for that one caption line; without a key the AI path is fully inactive. AI output never affects simulation, gameplay, art, audio, or any other text.
Twilight TavernSteamI'm a solo developer, and I'd rather be upfront about where AI tools were used. The character base meshes and some of their textures were generated with AI. Every one of them was then brought into Blender and worked over by hand. Cleaned up, edited, re-textured and animated before it went anywhere near the game. They're all rendered with a toon shader I wrote myself. Everything else is made by hand. The tavern, the props and the whole environment are hand modeled. Other than that, everything else in the game was made by me.
Didgeridoo ManSteamGenerative AI is used in this game for tasks such as music generation. As an indie game and a small software development studio, we simply do not have the budget to license a large number of well-known and popular songs. Unfortunately, nothing comes for free – so AI is used as an alternative. AI is also used for tasks such as integrating graphics, music and beat analysis, and translating content. AI can complete time-consuming tasks within minutes that would otherwise take a human several hours. No jobs are being replaced or put at risk through the use of AI in this project. This “crazy game” was still made with lots of love by humans. An AI probably would not have come up with a game idea like this anyway. And because it fits the topic far too well: purely on principle, this disclosure text was of course also written with the help of AI.
MOCAIRNSteamGenerative AI tools were used during development to help create some content, including the English localization, music and sound effects, the 3D-rendered block art pipeline, and parts of the store/marketing materials. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and refined by the developer. No content is generated by AI at runtime.
SILENT TRACKSSteamI’m a solo developer doing my first-ever coding project. With no prior coding experience, I relied heavily on tons of tutorials to write the code and used AI to assist when troubleshooting some bugs. I also used AI to generate some of the project's visual content and images but mainly tried to use actual human work. It's been a massive learning experience, so thanks for your time, and I hope you can enjoy my project :)
My Four-Wheeled SisterSteamDuring development of this game, generative AI was used for the creation of some sound effects and background music, localization. Generative AI was not used in the creation of the game's artwork or story.
LIMINAL SORTINGSteamAI was used for localization and translation.
ISKRASteamGenerative AI was used during development to assist with the creation of some promotional and visual assets. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and edited by the developer before being included in the game or its Steam store materials. No generative AI is used during gameplay.
A Vila Sobre o PoçoSteamWe used generative AI tools during development to help create pre-rendered assets: part of the visual art (environments, buildings, characters and interface elements), the music, and store page artwork. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited and assembled by us. Generative AI is not used at runtime — the game generates no AI content while you play.
Golden Bay: Desktop AquariumSteamA large number of AI‑generated assets are used in this game. However, every asset has undergone extensive manual adjustments.
Swirl TogetherSteamSwirl Together contains a rotoscoping/masking model similar to Adobe’s roto brush, or Davinci Resolve's magic masking tool, and a depth-estimating model for colliders.
TreeLineSteamAI tools were used to assist in creating the game logo, marketing artwork, and some 2D in-game assets such as item icons and illustrations. All AI-generated content is pre-generated (nothing is generated at runtime) and was manually reviewed and edited. All 3D models, gameplay, code, and game design are hand-crafted.
Grape by GrapeSteamAI is used while develoing game mechanic
Just a Rescue, Bro!SteamSome art assets in the game and on the store page (story character portraits, some icons, backgrounds, and capsule images) were created with AI image generation tools, then manually curated and edited by the developer. All gameplay, code, and written story content is human-made. No AI content is generated at runtime.
Space TravelersSteamSpace Travelers uses generative AI only as a writing aid during development. The game's text content (interface text, event and log lines) and its localization into the 14 supported interface languages were produced with the assistance of large language models, directed and reviewed by the developer. Parts of this store page were drafted the same way. No AI-generated images, audio or video are used: all artwork, animation and sound in the game are produced by hand-written procedural code. The game does not generate any content with AI while you play, and it never connects to an external AI service.
RabbitDiceSteamGenerative AI tools were used. All AI-assisted content was reviewed by the developer, with some assets further edited and refined. No AI content is generated during gameplay.
にゃんクリメントSteamGenerative AI was used in the creation of graphical assets and in the localization of this game.
Purrfect DiceSteamAI (WAN 2.2) was used to help generate idle animation frames from 100% original, human-made art. All animations were reviewed and curated by the developer before being included in the game.
World of MistSteam1. Ensure that the game content does not include illegal or infringing material, such as violations of laws and regulations or infringement of others' intellectual property rights (e.g., plagiarism of artwork, code, etc.). 2. Consistency with Marketing Materials: The actual content of the game must align with the marketing materials, ensuring no discrepancies such as claiming an AI-generated art style or unique gameplay features in promotions that do not exist in the actual game.
SandwehSteamThe music in Sandweh was generated with the assistance of AI tools. The developer curated, edited, and implemented the tracks in-game.
Marina ManagerSteamGenerative AI was used to assist with some Steam store artwork, marketing materials, and localization.
WankerSteamThis game includes a small amount of generative AI content used only for optional tutorial and demonstration materials. These pre‑generated, G‑rated assets illustrate how the game’s IN‑OUT‑based timing loop works. They do not appear in normal gameplay and do not influence any game systems. All core mechanics, visuals, audio, and interactive content are fully handcrafted and do not use AI generation during play.
BirchSteamThere is no AI-generated art or audio anywhere in this game. Every sprite, animation and character design is hand-drawn by me. The game has no audio at all, and the music in the trailer is my own work too. Nothing is generated while the game runs, and it never connects to an AI service. AI was used to help with text, in three places. The store page description and short description, in all 11 languages. Translating the interface labels into the 10 languages other than English. There are only 24 strings in the whole game and no prose of any kind: 11 are labels like "Clear all" and "Cancel", and the other 13 are bird names, which are the real common names of each species, looked up per language rather than made up. Some of our Steam community and marketing posts. Chinese (both) I checked myself, and Japanese was checked at N2. Korean, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese and German have not been checked by a native speaker.
Crawling Desktop PetSteamGenerative AI tools were used during development to assist with creating and refining some pre-generated visual assets and promotional artwork. All AI-assisted content was reviewed before inclusion. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services.
Tale of Dark LandsSteamText localization
Hippo HopSteamThe localization for this game in languages other than English uses AI translations.
manmanzhilvSteamSome audio and text translations are powered by AI
ねこ部屋日和SteamGenerative AI was used in the creation of some artwork and music. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
DicepotSteamThe Steam graphics and promotional visuals were made using AI. However, no AI was used for any of the in-game designs or assets.
Hanok: From Thatch to PalaceSteamThe game's text (Korean and English) was written with the help of an AI assistant, based on the developer's research into traditional Korean architecture, and was fact-checked and reviewed by the developer before shipping. The English text follows a Korean–English glossary of traditional architecture terms prepared and approved by the developer. No other shipped content is AI-generated: all 3D models, buildings and characters are built procedurally in code, and the background music is licensed traditional Korean music (CC BY).
At Once, My Lord!SteamGenerative AI has been used solely as a supporting tool to create some of the icons used for the character's abilities and upgrades, as well as to assist with translating the game's text into other languages.
TaskforgeSteamThe pixel art in Taskforge — character and enemy sprites, animation frames, item and UI icons, scenery pieces and the game's emblem — was produced with the help of an AI image generation tool during development. Every generated asset was reviewed, selected, edited and assembled by hand, and ships as a fixed image file. Nothing is generated while you play: the game contains only static assets and never calls an AI service at runtime. Code, game design, balance data and all written text were made by the developer.
