Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Since we are a small team of two, we used generative AI to create some 3D objects and 2D textures or UI components.
As a solo developer, I used AI generation tools to assist in creating a few 2D sprites
Personality Imprint utilizes generative AI tools to enhance certain visual and narrative elements. Specifically, AI was used to assist in creating some character portraits, background art for specific in-game text sequences, and select marketing assets for the store page. All other core components, including 3D models, level design, and additional art assets, are either handcrafted by our team or sourced from licensed asset libraries.
AI was used to generate promotional capsule artwork. No AI-generated content is used inside the game.
Some of the visuals in the game were created using AI.
We use generative AI tools to create and enhance various in-game assets, including environmental textures and marketing materials such as store banners. This helps us achieve a higher level of visual detail and atmosphere in the game world.
The images were refined by artificial intelligence based on real photos taken in the city of Aix-les-Bains. The music was also arranged using an artificial intelligence tool.
We use generative AI in a limited capacity to extend backgrounds (canvas expansion) and remove unwanted elements in some of the live-action miniature images. The original source materials are real photographs, and all content is reviewed and adjusted by the developer. Generative AI is also used as a writing assistant for parts of the in-game text.
This game uses AI-generated visual content in both the store page and in-game assets. Specifically: store page artwork (header, capsule images, and screenshots backgrounds), in-game character sprites, enemy sprites, background art, visual effects, item icons, and sprite-based animations were created with the assistance of AI image generation tools. All AI-generated content was reviewed, selected, edited, and refined by the development team to fit the game's art style. No AI-generated content is produced during gameplay — all assets are pre-rendered and curated before distribution.
Generative AI was used in a limited and supportive way during development. AI tools were utilized to help draft and refine parts of the store page description, and to assist in editing or enhancing some visual assets for presentation and marketing purposes.
This game uses generative AI tools during development to assist in the creation of certain pre-rendered visual assets such as textures and images. All AI-assisted content was directed, reviewed, and refined by the developer to ensure it aligns with the game’s artistic vision and quality standards. The game does not use live-generated AI content during gameplay.
Generative AI was used only as a support tool during development to help create some 2D art assets. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay, and the game does not use any third-party AI services at runtime.
We utilized AI tools to assist in creating the game's narrative scripts, dynamic animations, and UI elements.
- some UI Icons have been generated using AI Tools and were hand-edited by a human artist
This product includes AI-assisted content creation. AI tools were used to generate certain images, music, voice lines, sound effects, and an introductory video. All AI-generated materials were curated, edited, refined, and implemented by the developer. The developer retains full rights to the final content included in the game.
1. Some scene artwork in this game is AI-generated. 2. Some images for in-game form verification are AI-generated.
Some visual assets and promotional materials for Slotbound were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All AI-generated content was reviewed, refined, and integrated by the developer to ensure consistency with the game's artistic direction and quality standards.
AI Assisted graphics and music included.
AI-assisted tools were used during development to help create certain store assets and to assist with portions of the program’s source code. The shipped game does not generate AI content during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services. Visual effects and imagery in the game are generated deterministically by the program’s code using mathematical and procedural rendering techniques (ASCII graphics and SDL-based visual effects). These systems do not use generative AI.
The Legend of Wijaya utilizes pre-generated AI tools strictly as an assistive foundation for a minor portion of background environmental assets and foundational music tracks. All AI-assisted content is heavily manually edited, polished, and arranged by the developer to ensure it strictly matches the handcrafted pixel-art aesthetic and historical tone of the game.
We use AI for some of our images. All generated images are manually corrected, retouched, and processed by our developers before being integrated into the final game assets. We use AI to assist in-game logic and algorithms.
AI coding assistants were used during development to help write and debug game code. All game content — visuals, audio, color palettes, recipes, and gameplay mechanics — is procedurally generated by the game's own algorithms, not by generative AI.
Used AI to assist with coding and used to assist editing store page assets/imagery.
I used generative AI tools to assist in the creation of some environmental textures and background concept art. These assets were then manually edited and refined by our team to fit the game's final art style
Game uses AI for assets such as characters, music, and sound bytes.
AI tools were used during the early concept phase of some character designs. All AI-generated elements were manually refined, edited, and integrated by the developer to fit the game’s artistic style and vision. No gameplay systems, mechanics, code, or narrative content were generated by AI.
Some visual assets in the game and store page were created using generative AI and then edited and integrated by the developer. No real-time AI generation is used during gameplay.
Some store page images and trailer visuals were generated with AI assistance and then edited manually.
AI- generated images
Artificial intelligence tools were used during development to assist in the creation of certain 3D models. All generated assets were reviewed, modified, and integrated into the game by the developer.
A small selection (approx. 15-20%) of the environmental wallpapers were AI-assisted to provide visual variety, while the majority of the 30+ artworks and the core 'Dojo' aesthetic are custom-designed. AI was also used to help master and refine the lofi soundtrack and assist with initial marketing drafts.
"Developed in Godot with a focus on precision and hand-crafted systems. To maintain absolute control over the game’s quality and vision, generative AI was used for less than 10% of development, limited strictly to early-stage conceptual ideation for visual assets. Every final in-game asset has been manually hand-drawn, and 100% of the game’s code—including the massive 3,000+ line player controller—is hand-written. This ensures the tight, responsive gameplay essential for a high-stakes Metoridvania."
This game has AI generated Images for Store Page Library and In game Movies Characters are AI Generated, thank you for your support
This game was developed with the assistance of AI tools. Character sprites and visual assets were generated using AI image tools and further edited using image editing software. The game's soundtrack was created using AI music generation tools. Game code was written with AI coding assistance. The game's story, narrative, and gameplay design are entirely original and created by the developer.
Artificial intelligence technologies are widely used to assist in translating text content into multiple languages. Some game assets are commercially licensed materials generated by artificial intelligence. The developer added custom dynamic effects based on these source assets within the game engine. The game does not integrate any AI APIs, and no generative AI runs during gameplay.
Background images, and Main Header and artwork -not characters in the game
I was the archaic and fragmented DNA in the amber bound insect. AI was the frog DNA. Original Card Game: All card art is original, hand painted on canvas and physically printed on real cards (5,000 in total). The face images are scans of those pained canvas prints/ cards. AI was used to generate the card's backs and some of the playing surfaces/backgrounds. Coding: While I on and off experience in JavaScript since 2002, AI was used to help generate and debug portions of the code. I especially used AI when predicting potential conflicts and integration problems (especially Steam integration) before implementing new code. I found it very helpful when changing long sets of repetitive blocks of code. The volume of human error that was cut down was tremendous. Localization: Localization will be finalized in Beta. Initial translations were done with AI. Corrections and finalization will be done after input from the community (new game, some new terms). Music: We are Streamer first. Streamer need background music that won't affect their monetization. From the beginning, music that was all original, was critical to me. I wanted Streamers to have no worries when letting our background music play for hours. Musicians want astronomical payments and deals that will leave me perpetually paying them. I generated all of our music in Suno and own it all. I plan on releasing more, in two hour blocks, that will be available as free DLC's. All AI I used was after human talent quoted cost ineffective numbers or outright turned me down. This is a simple card game. A vehicle for a game and art I have made. I set out to make an affordable, sturdy, reliable, user focused game. AI helped me make the best product I could.
Some of the image materials in this game are generated using AI, and the code is debugged with AI assistance. There is no real-time AI content and no infringement behavior.
Some image assets are AI generated. This includes the game's logo and icon.
AI generated capsule art (for now), but manually adjusted.
A limited number of visual assets (such as certain icons and ship concepts) were created using AI-assisted tools and refined by the developer. All gameplay systems, core content, and procedural planet simulations are original.
Some graphical assets and sounds were created using generative AI tools during development. These were manually refined to ensure quality and unique identity.
Creative content utilises AI generation. Images, videos, music, code
The store promotional images were generated using AI with manual modifications. Some in-game upgrade icons were generated using AI and then manually refined. Most of the game's multilingual translations were created using AI.
This game uses Generative AI in two ways: 1. During Development (Pre-development): Approximately 75% of the game's code was written using AI (Godot GDScript), with the remaining 25% hand-written. Additionally, all of the game's soundtrack and some pixel art backgrounds (only the trees and red crystals) were created using AI. The rest of the artwork was entirely hand-drawn. 2.During Gameplay (Live-generated): The game features a "Card Fusion" mechanic that uses a local AI model (Stable Diffusion) running on the player's hardware to dynamically generate new card illustrations. A strict keyword filtering system is in place to prevent the generation of NSFW or inappropriate content.
"Approximately 30 static monster sprites were created using the Nana Banana AI tool to serve as high-fidelity placeholders for this solo-developed project. These assets are a temporary measure to realize the game's tactical scope; we are committed to replacing them with handcrafted human artwork as development milestones are met. We confirm these materials do not contain illegal content or infringe on existing intellectual property."
Generative AI was used for logos, marketing materials, and achievement icons.
Some of the game's visuals and sound effects were created using artificial intelligence.
