Helped find minor coding bugs/issues and coding suggestions.
Generative AI tools were used to assist with drafting and editing Steam store page text and marketing copy. The game does not use generative AI to create live gameplay content.
Generative AI was used as a supporting tool during solo development, mainly to find technical information faster, compare possible solutions, check code, organize notes, and explore early ideas. It saves a lot of time that would otherwise be spent searching through browser tabs and documentation. I also use it to help with translations. The game’s design, development decisions, implementation, and final content remain entirely under my control.. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
AI mainly used to generate images and icons. Some usage in automated testing.
This game was developed by a single person, with support from artificial intelligence in various areas.
Generative AI coding models (Claude Code) used to assist with development. Including code that renders background music using MIDI-as-code tracks.
Art Assets: We use generative AI tools to assist in the creation of store page assets (capsules). Localization: We use AI-powered tools to assist in translating and localizing game text into various languages.
AI was used for some translations, music, and visual assets. The game does not create AI-generated content during gameplay, and AI was not used to write the game’s code.

AI was used to assist in coding the game and it's features. All Art or writing was done by hand.
Astral Outpost was built by a solo developer working with AI tools. Some visual assets ( mostly marketing ) including the key art seen on the start screen and store page were created with generative AI and hand-finished. In-game text and its translations were drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the developer. Nothing is generated by AI while you play: every piece of content in the game is fixed and human-reviewed before it ships.
We used AI to design our game's cover art and logo.
AI tools were used for translation purposes.
We used generative AI as a stand-in reference for aircraft icons while we commission an artist to make our own bespoke art.
The team uses AI to speed up workflows such as coding and other difficult tasks
AI was used for some asset/card art only. No live AI generation."
We want to be transparent with our players. It is possible that AI-assisted tools were used at some early stages of development, such as brainstorming, concept exploration, or helping us evaluate clarity of certain narrative elements. Some audio assets used in the game were sourced from licensed third-party libraries and marketplaces (such as Envato), and are used under proper commercial licenses. At the current stage of development, voice acting is generated using AI-based tools as a temporary solution. We are actively planning to replace it with professional human voice acting in future updates. All final gameplay experience and core content are assembled, designed, and produced by our development team.
Generative AI Disclosure During the development of SandSea Ark, we utilized generative AI tools (such as Claude) to assist with: 1. Code writing and debugging: AI-assisted generation and optimization of GDScript code to improve development efficiency. 2. Data configuration: Assistance in maintaining game data tables and configuration files. 3. Documentation: Some technical documents and changelogs were generated with AI assistance. The following content was NOT generated using AI: - Game art assets, UI design, and scene layouts - Core game design, mechanics, and balance tuning This game does not contain live-generated AI content — all in-game content is pre-designed and hand-crafted. The game does not dynamically generate text, images, or audio during gameplay.
Some visual elements of the game have been created with the use of ai.
This game uses generative AI tools in parts of its development. Some code was written with AI coding assistants, and some marketing and store artwork — including the capsule art and logo — was produced with AI assistance, based on and matched to in-game assets we created ourselves. Some 3D assets were created with AI-assisted tools All screenshots show real gameplay, all AI-assisted output is reviewed by a human before it ships, and no AI-generated content is produced live during play.
AI-assisted art tooling used for promotional graphics only.
Some marketing artwork on this Steam store page was created with OpenAI image generation using current in-game screenshots and existing brand artwork as references. The game itself does not generate AI content during play.
Some of the user interfaces were generated using AI; the reason for this is that I am not a graphic designer myself and cannot afford to hire a service provider to create them.
Only Steam store assets and logo are generated or modified by AI
AI is used to translate/localize this game. AI is used to assist programming of this game.
Corelink Protocol uses generative AI as part of its creative workflow, including artwork, sprites, music, and certain development assets.
