Voice acting for characters during combat and in the story
Some parts of development used AI-assisted workflows, including asset creation, image processing/background removal, voice work, and localization of in-game/help text into multiple languages.
As a solo developer with a limited budget, I am currently using Generative AI text-to-speech tools to create the voice-overs, 911 calls, and radio communications in the game. A dispatch simulator requires a massive amount of audio, and using AI allows me to populate the game with necessary placeholder dialogue during active development. My ultimate goal, as the game grows and funding allows, is to replace these AI placeholders with real human voice actors in future updates.
Some of the graphics and all of the localizations was produced with the help of generative AI.
This game was developed with AI collaboration. Visual assets including unit sprites, tile textures, and promotional artwork were created with the assistance of generative AI. Game code was developed with AI pair programming. All AI-generated content was reviewed, curated, and refined by the developer. No AI content is produced dynamically during gameplay — all assets and code are pre-made and shipped with the game.
AI technology was utilized to create initial art assets for some icons. The final output was manually refined by artists.
The background music in this game was created using generative AI (Suno AI). Every audio track has been personally reviewed and edited by the developer. Furthermore, all content is used in full compliance with the commercial usage rights provided by the tool's official licensing.
This game features unlockable media such as images and videos of aliens and UFO sightings that are created using generative AI technology.
Used to help create artwork
The following content is created with generative AI: character portraits, background music, and cover/promo material (hand-made in-game screenshots edited/overpainted with AI-assisted tools). All other content (code, game mechanics, driving physics, 3D assets, sound effects, text, track design, gameplay) is hand-made without AI generation.
Store logo images, in game backstory in English and most French translation used AI and Google Translate and revised by the developer.
AI tools were used only during development for tasks such as code assistance and partial media creation (e.g., some music elements). No AI systems run in the game itself, and AI does not affect gameplay or player experience
Some store and promotional artwork for Nothing Remains has been created or enhanced using AI-assisted tools. All gameplay systems, mechanics, and in-game content are fully original and developed without the use of generative AI.
Sector Scavengers was built almost 100% using AI agents and tools. Makko.ai created the game art, animations, and game code/logic, and the trailers were made with a combination of Grok and 11 Labs.
Some visual assets such as fictional product packaging, posters, decorative graphics, icons and marketing materials were created with the help of generative AI and then reviewed/edited before being included in the game.
We use generative AI tools during our development process to assist in the creation of certain visual assets, such as concept art for environments and base textures for some 3D models. All AI-generated content is meticulously refined and integrated by our team to ensure it meets the artistic standards of Quantum Fight: Aero 2299. Our goal is to use these technologies as a support tool to enhance the game's atmosphere while maintaining full creative control over the final experience.
An AI was consulted for ideas on how an AI would act if taking over the world. Game logo image was generated using generative artificial intelligence. Music before remixing/producing created with generative AI.
Text-to-speech tools were utilized to generate the quick voice-over announcements during a match.
Mildly used for art
Some text elements for the store page and documentation were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. No AI is used to generate gameplay content, assets, or code during gameplay.
AI was used for the following: * In game code * Capsule images * Trailer and boss music * Ideas and direction for the story * In-game cinematic * Character design and in-game portraits * Model textures * Achievement images
Sound Effects Created.
AI technologies were utilized during the development process to assist with multi-language localization of in-game text. Additionally, AI was used as a supportive tool for optimizing system code and developing specific logic components. All AI-assisted outputs have been reviewed, refined, and integrated by the developer. This game does not contain any AI-generated visual or audio assets.
Generative AI was used during the creation of the background music, marketing materials, and the store page assets (banners, icons, logos).
The characters appearing in this work use appearances generated by AI as **non-existent humans**, based on images that are permitted for commercial use.
We only used AI-generated content for Steam capsule images.
The development of the game was supported by AI in some areas to improve efficiency and quality. AI was used to write code and debug, as well as for performance optimization. It also contributed to the creation of 2D graphics for the shop area and the generation of background sounds. In addition, AI played a role in automating translations thus contributing to the realization of the game for a single developer.
This game analyzes and evaluates images input by the user using a Visual Language Model, and outputs the results as text. This game contains ai (grok) generated graphic assets.
Background images and BGM are generated using AI.
AI was used in coding tools, placeholder art, and marketing mockups.
I'm building this game on my own, with generative AI tools as finishing and scaling assistants on top of my own creative foundations. 3D mech and monster meshes started as my own concept sketches; Meshy AI generated the base 3D models from those sketches, which I then refined and animated myself in Blender. Character voices began as dialogue I wrote and the tone I set — some are my own voice recordings, and for others I used ElevenLabs to alter the voices so they fit each character. Music tracks each started from vocal melody references I recorded; Lyria (through Gemini) developed those references into the final orchestrated tracks. Cinematic video sequences were generated by Veo3 from my prompts and storyboards, then fully edited by me in DaVinci Resolve. I review every AI output before it ships in the game, and I hold commercial-use rights to all generated content per each service's paid-subscription terms.
This project incorporates the use of artificial intelligence tools to assist in development. AI was used to help generate portions of the C# codebase, streamlining implementation and problem-solving, as well as to create some textures used within the game. All AI-generated content was reviewed, adapted, and integrated to fit the overall design and functionality of the project
All art is hand drawn by the developer. All creative direction, original writing, and final dialogue are by the developer. AI tools were used during the writing process as an editorial partner reviewing drafts for continuity, character voice consistency, and story structure.
This game used Text to Speech programs to generate audio clips for high quality voice dialogues.
Artificial: Proxy Bar uses artificial intelligence to generate dynamic dialogue content in real time. The game integrates AI technologies including Ollama, OpenAI Whisper (speech recognition), and Google Gemma language models. Because of this, in-game conversations and responses are generated automatically and may be unpredictable. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, nonsensical, inappropriate, or offensive. The developer does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content and is not responsible for outputs produced by the AI systems. By using the AI features in the game, players acknowledge that they interact with AI-generated content at their own discretion and risk.
I'm a game/level designer so I used visual scripting to make games. AI was used to generate the code of some elements of the game that were too complicated to do in visual scripting. SFX and Voices were also generated by AI.
The game uses generative AI for a fraction of the content, including gore 3d models, sounds (they are really good), and music.
We have used AI primarily for image generation and for optimizing the network system in Typer3000. AI-driven image generation allowed us to rapidly create and iterate visual assets such as backgrounds, interface elements, and stylistic variations, ensuring a consistent and scalable visual design. In addition, we have used AI to support the setup and optimization of the multiplayer network architecture. It helped us refine data transmission strategies, reduce latency, and improve synchronization of player inputs, resulting in a smooth and responsive real-time gameplay experience.
This game uses generative AI in a limited capacity. Some in-game images and text were created or assisted by AI during development, but they are not entirely AI-generated. All such content has been manually edited, reviewed, and integrated by the developer to ensure consistency with the overall design and experience.
Some visual assets and parts of the localization were created with the assistance of AI tools and refined manually.
Some visual assets, promotional images, and loading screen artwork were created or assisted using AI-generated tools
NPC Portrait Pictures
Images generated by AI are manually processed and adapted for use in the game.
The in-game AI woman voice created with AI, which is authentic. With a zero budget and modern technologies that are freely available to everyone, our team(me) decided it would be authentic if an AI voiced the AI in the game. Of course, if we(I) had money, we would have done everything differently.
