I used AI to help with marketing materials.
Thunder Infinity was developed by a single person with no resources or financial support. The artwork for the project was produced by generative AI under strict artistic guidelines. In the future, if the game is well-received and sells well, a redesign by professional artists could be considered.

Some art assets were generated with AI
This game uses generative artificial intelligence to dynamically create towns, facilities, dungeons, NPCs, dialogue, event text, and some illustrations based on the player's actions and the current game state. Rather than relying only on fixed scenarios, the game is designed so that each playthrough can produce different events, encounters, and story developments. Some character images, backgrounds, and illustrations are also generated by AI. Generated content is controlled according to the game's design rules and moderation systems.
Some store page artwork, marketing text, and game code were created with the assistance of AI tools (including this text), with direction, editing, and curation by the developer. All game design and creative decisions are human-made.
Artificial intelligence was occasionally used as a reference material for some visual assets and for store asset images.
Spaceship models and some sound effects have been developed with the use of AI.

This game uses generative artificial intelligence to assist in the creation of certain visual elements. AI tools are used during development to help generate concept art, and refine environmental details. All AI-assisted content is carefully reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team to ensure originality and consistency with the game’s style and design.
Some store materials (text and images) have been enhanced with AI.

Steel and Sinew uses AI art as placeholder for UI.
Some background artwork was created with the assistance of AI image generation tools.
Some of the visual assets in this game (such as concept arts, UI elements, and store capsules) and the initial ideation processes were developed with the assistance of generative AI tools. All AI-generated concepts were manually edited, refined, and integrated into the game by the developer. The game does not contain any live, real-time generative AI systems that react to player interactions.
We used generative AI to help create some level art and 2D visuals. Everything was then tweaked, edited, and put together by us. All gameplay and design decisions are fully human-made.
Some in-game artwork and sound effects were created with the assistance of AI tools during development.
Artificial intelligence was used during development to generate some of the game's background music and some decorative environmental elements, such as certain statues and environmental objects. All generated content was reviewed, selected, and integrated manually by the development team. Artificial intelligence is not used during gameplay, nor does it dynamically generate content for players.
The game uses AI-assisted translation to localize in-game text into multiple languages. All other content is created by human developers using licensed assets.
Generative AI was utilized strictly to assist in drafting the narrative script and visuals for our promotional marketing trailers, and for in-game cutscenes. All other actual in-game content—including the gameplay code, 3D models, level design, physics, and mechanics—was meticulously crafted by hand by human developers.
Use of Generative AI for Images and Textures in the game, and assistance with code to speed up the development process.
The only AI generated elements in the game are a few select static background images used to set the scene (such as the combat stages, the vendor backdrop, and the leaderboard podium). In strict contrast, the entirety of the Multiplayer Boss Arenas (including their backgrounds, set pieces, and props) were purely hand crafted by human artists. Additionally, all animated character models, monster sprites, factory sprites, and in game items throughout the whole game are traditional, human made pixel art.
Store page graphical assets (capsule images, achievement icons, app icon) were created using AI-assisted tools. Game soundtrack is procedurally generated in real-time using the Web Audio API. All game code, gameplay systems, dialogue, and lore were written by the developer.
This game makes limited use of generative artificial intelligence during development. Generative AI was used to help create some game music and sound effects, to generate the store page thumbnail artwork, and as a support tool for brainstorming ideas and coding auto-completion. All gameplay, design, and final creative decisions were made by the developer.
AI was used for multilingual localization work and during the prototyping and implementation of in-game systems. All AI-generated outputs were directly reviewed and modified by the developer before final integration.
Some of the images are generated by AI, they are only cosmetic and do not affect the gameplay.
We used generative AI tools to assist in composing the soundtrack and for translating the game content (localization).
The game optionally connects to a local language model server (Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint) to generate live dialogue from rulers, travelers, and city locals. This requires installing Ollama separately and running a model locally. Instructions are in GUIDE.md. The game is fully playable without this feature.
Some shipped artwork and written content were created or assisted with generative AI tools during development. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services while you play.
Art: Certain background, character, and animation assets were generated by AI, then manually cropped, composited, and post-processed. Audio: Some in-game music and sound effects were generated by AI, then manually selected, edited, and integrated. Code: Some foundational functional code was generated with AI assistance, then reviewed, modified, compiled, and integrated by the developers. The core game design, gameplay logic, and final integration were all completed manually.
AI is used for some of the experiences art, voices, and textures.
Used AI to aid in the process of generating images, audio, and some text (dialog and names).
In development and early prototyping, Rankbreaker used some generative art assets. These are being actively replaced with original work created by professional artists, and this transition is already underway. Current contributions include: Leonardo Veronesi: Disruptors “Void,” “Raven,” “Recoil,” and character card “Axl Rydell” Samuele Colombini: Character cards “Bloodthirst,” “Ironjaw,” “Riff the Cat,” and “Stonewhal” Richard Kessler: Location art “Deadspace,” “Sepulcher,” and “The Arc” All generative assets are being phased out in favor of fully original artwork as development continues.
With the exception of the screenshots, the developer edited some promotional images that were first generated using AI tools.
Exonie Online uses pre-generated AI content to provide a high-quality multiplayer experience. Gameplay Code: Generative AI was used as a primary collaborative tool to develop the game's networking logic, hybrid asset-loading systems, and core mechanics. Visual Assets: AI tools were used to generate environmental maps, character sprites, and UI elements. Audio: The game’s soundtrack was generated using Suno AI (Pro Tier), ensuring the developer holds full commercial rights. All AI-assisted content was manually reviewed and integrated by the developer. No AI content is generated live during gameplay
Game art assets are generated using AI tools to create initial concept art, which is then manually adjusted and modified by artists. The final works combine AI-generated foundational designs with human artistic revisions. Some dynamic art assets are assisted in their creation by AI tools.
Some parts of development used AI-assisted workflows, including asset creation, image processing/background removal, voice work, and localization of in-game/help text into multiple languages.
The game does not generate AI-created content dynamically during gameplay. Generative AI tools were used to assist with development. All final content was reviewed, edited, and approved by the developers.
Some of the artworks, sounds and localizations in the game have been partially or entirely generated with the help of AI. We strongly believe AI will help videogames reach new heights, not kill jobs nor creativity.
