Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Generative tools were used during development to assist in creating selected pre-generated visual assets. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer.
Some visual assets in the game (character portraits, photographs and website imagery) were created with the assistance of AI image generation tools, then curated and edited by the developer. Portions of the game's code were written with AI coding assistance. All narrative, game design, voice acting and story content were created by humans. The game does not generate any content at runtime using AI.
Within the game, we only used AI to assist with translations into different languages and to create the names and designs of the bottle brands. We use AI solely as a supportive tool. We do not let AI handle the entire process for any task.
A few of environmental assets and the storybook images were created using ai generation.
Generative AI was used as a base/concept for creating store page capsule graphics, which were subsequently hand-edited and post-processed in image editing software. No AI content is present in the game itself.
During the development process, certain 2D art assets, textures, and UI elements were generated or enhanced using generative AI tools to accelerate production. All final assets have been manually reviewed, edited, and verified by our team to ensure quality and compliance.
AI is used only to generate elements for the trailer and promotional media. AI is not used in any part of the game itself, including gameplay, mechanics, or runtime systems.
This game uses content created or assisted by generative AI. Generative AI was used to help create and edit some visual assets, music/sound materials, and scripts. All final content was reviewed, selected, and adjusted by the developer before being included in the game.
The drone images on the website and Steam game page, (not used in the actual game), were generated by AI. The Symbology of the in-game tactical display was generated by AI under close human supervision and iteration. The music in this game was not generated by AI.
Some game assets used AI assisted coding and tools to help generate and refine them, localisation was done with the help of AI translation.
The cinematic artworks were created using AI and are based on my own concept sketches. They were used to reinforce the emotional atmosphere and my vision of the game world, while the game itself is designed entirely in hand-drawn pixel art. AI was used for programming
When developing V.E.N.T. I used close to no generative AI tools, it was only used for production support. AI was used to assist with refining Danish to English translations for subtitles and store page text to make sure clarity and accuracy were good. I also used voice processing tools to modify my own recorded voice for in-game audio in order to protect personal privacy and strong lore consistency. No AI was used to generate core creative content such as story, gameplay systems, artwork, or level design.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with enhancing certain texture assets. All final assets were reviewed and tweaked by the developer.
Generative AI was used only for in-game text localization and translation.
Generative AI tools were used during the development of this game in the following ways: - Art creation: AI was used to assist in generating and refining visual art assets. - Mathematical computations: AI was used to perform complex mathematical calculations and to derive equations used in the game's systems. All AI-generated content was reviewed and integrated by the development team.
The artwork in this game (backgrounds, menu art, the still-life and landscape references used as puzzle targets, achievement medals, and store art) and the music were created with generative AI tools, then selected and adjusted by the developer before inclusion. No content is generated live during gameplay.
I received assistance from text-generative AI (LLM) for the English translation (localization) of all in-game text (dialogues, UI, system messages) and for writing the English description on the Steam store page.
This game is basically generated by AI
Only images for steam Capsules
AI tools were used during development to help compose the soundtrack, draw the pixel art, and draft text (including localization and this store page), all under human direction — every piece was reviewed, curated, and approved by the developer. All content is fixed at build time; the game contains no live or runtime AI generation.
One More Fishing contains selected pre-generated content created or refined with generative AI tools during development. This includes selected in-game artwork and UI assets, selected Steam store and marketing artwork, audio assets such as music, ambience, sound effects and selected character voice lines, plus assistance with narrative and quest drafting and localization. All shipped content is selected, edited and integrated before release. The game does not use live-generated AI. It does not contact generative AI services while running and does not send player prompts or player data to such services. At runtime it only loads, selects, animates, processes and mixes fixed content prepared before shipping.
This game uses AI-generated tools as part of its development, including AI-assisted voice lines and background music. All AI-generated content was reviewed and curated by the developer.
I mostly use AI for debugging and I make it document my code for me. I've been using it for placeholder art but intend on replacing all, or at least most of them by release. I use it like a tool I can turn to for general tasks rather then a crutch that does everything.
AI was occasionally used to assist in the creation of certain textures. However, these instances are light-hearted and do not impact the creative vision of Static Field Interactive.
This game uses AI for art, music, and localization.
Generative AI tools (ChatGPT Image Generation / DALL-E) were used during development to generate concepts and visual marketing assets, including some store page banners and promotional artwork. All core gameplay pixel-art, character animations, sound design, and code were created manually by the developer.
Kerf - Sawmill Tycoon was made almost entirely with AI tools. The developer directed the work, chose what went into the game and approved every result, but did not model, rig or write code by hand. What that means for the content that ships in the game: - Code: written by an AI coding assistant. - Characters: generated by an AI 3D tool from AI-generated reference images, then rigged and set up in the game by the AI assistant. - Other 3D models: some came from an AI 3D tool - a vehicle and environment props such as rocks, mountains and bushes. The rest, including the valley, the buildings, the machines and the trees, were built in 3D software by the AI assistant writing scripts. - Animation: all character animation was generated with an AI motion tool. - Music: all of the in-game music was generated with an AI music tool. - Sound: some sound effects were generated with an AI sound tool; the rest were sourced from sound libraries by the developer. - Text: the in-game text was written with AI assistance, and the translations from English and Polish into the other 13 supported languages were made with AI. Everything was reviewed and approved by the developer before release. No content is generated by AI while the game is running. The Twitch integration only displays messages typed by real viewers.
Some UI elements and 2D visual assets were created with the assistance of generative AI tools and then manually edited and refined in Photoshop. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed by the developer to ensure it does not infringe on third-party intellectual property.
GRIDFALL was developed with extensive AI assistance (Anthropic's Claude): the game's code — including the procedural generators that produce all in-game art (pre-baked at build time) and synthesize all audio and music at runtime — was written with AI pair-programming under human direction and review. The game contains no pre-rendered AI-generated images or audio files; all art and audio assets are produced by deterministic code, and the sole third-party asset is the SIL-licensed Noto Sans UI font. Story, dialogue, and text were authored with AI assistance under human editorial control.
This game uses AI tools in a supporting capacity during the creation of some assets (such as background images, music, and sound effects). No generated assets are used as-is; all have been processed, adjusted, and composited by human hands before being included in the game.
Some visual assets in this demo are AI-generated placeholders, used temporarily due to budget constraints as a solo developer. These are planned to be replaced with final hand-crafted art before the game's full release.
Hot Seat Triage uses AI tools during development only; the game contains no live AI generation at runtime. Code: The game's code was written with the assistance of Claude (Anthropic). All AI-assisted code was directed, reviewed and tested by the developer. Art: The in-game background image was initially generated with Nano Banana 2, then manually edited and finalized by the developer. All other art and UI assets are human-made. Text: Clinical case scenarios were drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed, corrected and medically approved by the developer, an emergency medicine physician. Audio: The theme music and some sound effects were created by the developer using Suno. All AI-assisted content was human-reviewed before inclusion.
Generative AI used to build aspects of the game: * Pre-rendered backgrounds * Speech
Generative AI tools were used in parts of this game's development, always under human creative direction. Art: The game's visual design is led by a classically trained 2D artist acting as art director. The UI style, overall color palette, character art, and environment style are all conceived and directed by a human, starting from hand-drawn sketches and detailed art direction. Generative AI is used only as an execution tool carrying out that direction—the distinctive style and texture of the game come from human artistic judgment, and every asset is directed, selected, and refined by the artist. Music: The main melodies are composed by us by ear. Generative AI is then directed—with specific guidance on mood, instrumentation, and arrangement—to help realize the finished tracks. Code: The game's code was generated using AI coding tools. All content is reviewed and integrated by the developers before inclusion. The game contains no content generated live by AI during gameplay.
This game includes optional local AI features: Text Generation: A local language model periodically generates in-game short story events based on the player's typing activity. Image Generation: A local image generation model may probabilistically generate illustrations for the corresponding story when a story event is triggered. The AI features are purely an advanced option; whether you use them or not does not affect the core gameplay experience.
Voice over in this game is created using a combination of real voices with AI voices.
Artificial intelligence was used to support the game's coding and the trailer music.
AI assisted.
AI was primarily used to assist in the creation of the game's music and sound effects. Most of the music tracks and sound effects were generated using AI tools and then edited and adapted for use in the game. All visual assets, characters, environments, puzzles, story, and gameplay mechanics were created and designed manually by the developer.
Some minor 2d art is sketched with AI and then refined. Some music samples created with AI and composed by hooman.
Some background music tracks in the game were created with the assistance of generative AI audio tools
The voice of R.E.I.K.A, the AI companion character, is generated using AI text-to-speech technology same as the voice lines of the end dialogue; all other game content — code, art, design, and writing — is handmade.
This game was made with the help of generative AI tools: • 2D art: Some of the game's 2D artwork (backgrounds, UI skins, card and joker illustrations) was created using generative AI, then selected, edited and integrated into the game by hand. • Commentary: In-match commentary lines were produced with AI text-to-speech. All other sound effects are synthesized procedurally by the game's own code, with no AI involved. No AI model runs while you play. The game is fully offline and never connects to any server; all of the content above is pre-generated, fixed content created during development. No player data is ever sent to any AI system.
all the pictures are generated by artificial intelligence.
