Public Steam disclosure research 25,497 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
I have used Claude Code to create the game itself code and assets.
Artificial intelligence tools were used solely for the creation of marketing materials and specific 2D visual assets, such as the game's capsule art and promotional banners. Please note that all core gameplay mechanics, coding, level design, and narrative elements of Miles to Nowhere have been developed manually without the use of AI. Our use of AI is limited to enhancing the game's visual presentation on the Steam storefront to better reflect the intended atmosphere.
Research assistance, technical guidance, text refinement, and code troubleshooting
This game used generative AI tools to assist in the creation of certain visual and written content during development.
Some music tracks in the game were created using generative AI tools.
Some elements of the game were generated with AI : - Scripts : parts of systems were generated or implemented using AI models - Images : some Images were generated or edited using AI Models
Some 3D models, sound assets, textures, and UI elements in this game were created or assisted using generative AI tools.
This game contains a small amount of AI-generated or AI-modified artwork.
This game uses generative AI to create some of its audio, visual, and localization content. The music was generated with AI tools, certain sound effects were produced using AI-based audio synthesis, and some in‑game images and artwork were created with the assistance of generative AI. Part of the game's translations were also assisted by AI. All content has been manually reviewed, edited, and adapted to maintain the artistic and narrative coherence of the project.
Generative Artificial Intelligence was used to assist in the development of this game, including support with aspects of the game's code. AI tools were also used to create some graphical assets, including selected images used for promotional material and the Steam store page.
Some non-essential visual assets (such as certain textures or illustrative images) were partially generated using AI tools and subsequently edited before being included in the game.
Few art and 3D models were gerenated using generative AI
Some promotional artwork for Point Shooter was created or edited with generative AI tools. The game itself does not use generative AI during gameplay.
We use generative AI tools to assist with the creation and refinement of some pre-generated content, including store page text, translations, marketing copy, and selected promotional/static visual assets. The game does not use generative AI to create content in real time during gameplay.
This game was developed with AI assistance. Some visual assets, icons, promotional artwork, in-game text content, and portions of the source code were generated or refined using AI tools. Core game design, mechanics balancing, and final creative direction were handled by a human developer.
All gameplay artwork is handmade. The title background image is AI generated; I don't have enough skill nor a desire to commission a single flavor image.
- Capsule Images were AI generated and later tweaked.
AI was employed to create 2D environmental artwork, various UI components, and initial drafts of in-game dialogues. All AI-assisted content has been extensively reviewed, edited, and refined by the developer to ensure a cohesive solarpunk experience and a consistent narrative voice.
This game use AI to generate Text, Text To Speak and Translations.
I used AI to generate some pictures and sfx sounds.
Generative AI was used during the development process to assist with code training and performance optimization. This application was strictly internal and for development efficiency, and did not directly generate any final game assets (art, sound, or text) that are shipped to players. All player-facing content in the game is originally created by our team.
This game contains certain content generated by artificial intelligence, including: Video Content - Animation clips and memory replay videos created using Seedance AI video generation platform - All AI-generated video materials have undergone human review, editing, and post-processing Music Content - Background music and ambient sound effects composed using Suno AI music generation platform - All AI-generated music materials have undergone human selection, mixing, and copyright verification Copyright Statement - All AI-generated content has obtained legal usage authorization - The game development team holds complete usage and modification rights for these materials - For any copyright concerns, please contact the game's official customer support
Generative AI tools were used to assist with selected static visual assets, such as artwork, store/library assets, and some icon-style graphics. These assets were reviewed, edited, and manually integrated by the developer. No generative AI is used during gameplay, and no content is generated by AI while the game is running.
Some visual assets and parts of the development workflow for Forest of Numbers were created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools. All content was curated, reviewed, and refined by the developer before being included in the final game.
Some of the in game artwork may contain ai-generation and some of the animation has an ai foundation.
Generative AI was used to assist in the creation of the game's soundtrack and audio assets. All AI-generated content has been reviewed and edited to ensure it meets quality standards and does not infringe on existing copyrights.
Grid Lands uses generative AI during development in three areas: some in-game illustrations and icons are produced with AI image-generation tools, some player-facing text (in-game copy and store-page text) is drafted with AI writing assistance, and our developers use AI coding assistants while writing the game. All assets, text, and code are reviewed and refined by our team before release. The game itself does not use generative AI at runtime — no player data is sent to AI services during play, and no in-game content is generated live.
Some arranged versions of the background music include sounds generated with AI assistance. All original compositions and other content, including graphics and game design, were created entirely by the developer.
Some of the images were made using artificial intelligence.
We've harnessed the power of Generative AI technology to create several of our game's unique theme background artworks, enhancing your gaming experience with visually stunning designs.
It contains some Images generated by AI.
Some store assets were polished with AI.
本游戏在对局过程中使用AI来支持角色行为与对话表现。
AI is used to help generate some game assets (icons and artwork)
The background images and peaches pictures are pre-rendered AI art.
We use AI as a creative assistant to refine our English descriptions and ensure they are easy to read and engaging (since we are not native speakers). In addition, some of the game’s illustrations were created with the help of generative AI tools and later refined by human artists.
This game uses AI technologies such as Antigravity and LLM for programming, as well as for translating the story and UI.
Cover art and localizations were made with the help of generative artificial intelligence.
Some content may have been generated using automated tools or processes.
Generating Text Logos
AI support has been used in the translations and visuals on the Steam store page.
Storefront and Marketing Materials: Generative AI was used to assist in drafting, refining, and localizing the text content for the Steam store page and promotional descriptions. In-Game Content: All final visual assets, code, and audio within the game have been created and designed by our development team. There is no AI-generated content produced in real-time during gameplay.
AI tools were used to assist with code optimization and debugging.
This game only uses AI-generated sound effects in partial content. All AI materials have been manually reviewed and modified, with no real-time AI content generated during gameplay.
AI is used for code writing and capsule art.
I used AI to learn how to make this and to test for Linux, SteamOS and MacOS compatability.
The login screen images and character images are AI-generated.
This game uses generative AI in the creation of the following in-game assets: Background images for the title screen, game clear screen, and game over screen. Sticky notes, bulletin boards, and elevator information panels within the game screen. In-game image assets such as elevators.
This game incorporates generative AI to enhance visual storytelling and character depth in the following ways: Video Content: A portion of the ending cinematic utilizes footage generated by Sora 2, which can be identified by its watermark. Character Illustrations: Three soldier profile photos displayed within the Personnel Search Center were created using ChatGPT (DALL-E). We have used these tools to supplement the creative vision of our team and ensure a more immersive atmosphere for our players.
The dubbing was done using AI
