This game makes limited use of ChatGPT (OpenAI) as a development aid. Specifically, it was used to generate decorative elements for the battle screen, a visual graphic for the final boss on the map screen, and the initial code for some plugins. All AI-assisted content has been manually edited and optimized by the developer, and accounts for only a small portion of the game. All content complies with Steam's policies and is properly managed.
The game’s development was supported by AI tools during content ideation and the creation of visual reference material. Graphical AI art tools, such as “inpaint” or “shading”, were used for some 2D portrait assets. All final artwork was reviewed and polished manually.
We utilize AI-generated art for some of our backgrounds.
The game itself is hand crafted, but the song in the music video and some character portraits involved AI.
Card templates are created with some assistance from AI, then refined with design tools such as GIMP.
1. Some art materials were generated with AI assistance. 2. Localization text was translated with AI assistance. 3. No connection to real persons or graphics.
AI drawing generation only generates original parts, and there will be no direct use of AI drawing. The original ideas and raw materials of some parts of the pixel charater are generated by AI drawing. If AI drawing is used for the original map in the game, it is only used as original material and creative material.

We used generative art for the background image in the game
During the development of this game, I used AI to generate some of the art assets, primarily the monster illustrations and background concept art. Although I initially tried to avoid using AI, the reality is that, given my limited budget and capabilities, I simply couldn’t afford a large amount of high quality hand drawn artwork. For this, I am truly sorry. I fully recognize that AI can never replace the creativity and uniqueness of real artists. At the same time, I hope you’ll allow me to express this clearly: Divine Sin is by no means a soulless project. I’ve poured an immense amount of time into refining its innovative mechanics, designing diverse content, and constantly tweaking balance. From the earliest concept sketches to the current demo release, over the course of more than three years, I’ve remained dedicated to creating a game that fans of the genre can genuinely enjoy. If you can understand my decision and are willing to support the game, I would be deeply grateful. Regardless, I will keep doing my best, and I truly hope that in the future, I’ll have the means to replace all AI-generated assets with original artwork created by real artists.
Skill icons, background music, and scene background images were pre-generated using AI.

Declaration of AI-Generated Content for Steam Review Dear Steam Review Team, I would like to clarify the use of AI-generated content in my game, Espectro: A Batalha da Mente. Some assets, including characters, images, and audio, were created using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Bing Image Creator. However, all content is 100% original, based on my own story and characters, which I have been developing for over 10 years. I confirm that: All characters, storylines, and concepts belong to me. AI was only used as a tool to assist in visual and textual representation. The AI-generated assets do not infringe on any existing copyrights or intellectual property, as they were not based on any pre-existing works from other companies or creators. The AI tools used (ChatGPT and Bing) allow commercial use, and their generated content does not violate any rights. No real-time AI generation occurs within the game; all content was pre-rendered before submission. I assure you that my game complies with Steam’s content policies, and I am happy to provide any additional information if necessary. Thank you for your time and consideration. I am well aware that AI cannot replace the creativity and uniqueness of a true artist. However, as a one-man indie game, the amount of money I can put into it is really limited, so in order to show a kind of characteristic gameplay, and reflect the creativity of the design, I used AI to generate the art content. After completion, the AI references a free funny skit I once made, and corrects it manually. I hope you understand my decision and continue to support our game.
Using AI assistance in game character design.Does not contain AI-generated content or code in real-time.
Images in game shop were generated by AI.
As a solo indie developer, my resources are very limited, and English is not my native language. Therefore, I used AI as assistance to translate the game content and the Steam page (both created by me) into other languages.
Some images and backgrounds in the game are AI-assisted assets that have been carefully edited and refined by me. The artwork is a blend of self-designed visuals and AI-generated elements, with adjustments made to harmonize color patterns.
Some assets used AI-generation.
Some illustrations are made with Midjourney.

Artificial intelligence was used to create some art assets for this game like the cards, monster and sprites. Store page assets like the box art also makes use of Artificial Intelligence.
The game contains character and landscape illustrations generated by AI.
