Public Steam disclosure research 25,512 disclosures tracked
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.

Thunderhawk: Danger Close uses a minimal amount of AI generated assets, including a handful of textures, marketing art, and dialog. Roughly 95% of the game's total content is human-authored, including all models, sound effects, music, and code. A detailed AI-generated content disclosure can be found on our website.
Havitailstudio Ltd. uses AI in certain cases, such as advertising, etc.
Very limited use of AI for minor assets and music support
Some store art generated with AI help.
AI-generated resources were used for certain character voice lines in the promotional trailer.
The creation of some 2D textures and illustrative assets was aided by the use of image-generation tools, and a small number of 3D models were generated using AI-based modeling services. These assets were selected, edited, and integrated manually by the developer and are part of a larger set of handcrafted and traditionally created content. This project is developed by a single independent developer with no external art team. Given the scope of the game and the scale of required environmental and illustrative assets, the limited use of AI-assisted tools makes it feasible to build and maintain a world of this size while remaining an independently developed project. All AI-assisted content is curated, modified, and incorporated by the developer to fit the game’s artistic direction and gameplay needs.
This game makes limited use of generative AI tools during development and marketing. Generative AI has been used for creating certain user interface icons, in‑game informational images, promotional materials, and cinematic videos. AI‑assisted tools have also been used for some video scenes and voice work related to the Nexus character. All gameplay systems, code, mechanics, level design, and narrative content are designed and implemented by the development team. Generative AI is not used in core gameplay systems or in content that directly affects player decisions.
AI technologies were used in the creation of some in-game models. All assets were manually refined and technically optimized.
AI-generated visuals.
I used AI as a helping tool for all aspects of the game, programming, art, and narration. This is the only way for me to make my vision come true in a reasonable time.
This game uses generative AI tools to assist in creating some of the artwork and 2D illustrations featured on the store page.
Voice Acting: Character voiceovers were created using AI-based voice synthesis tools. Music: Background music was prepared and edited with the assistance of AI technology. Store Assets: Capsule artwork was created/assisted using AI tools. In-Game Environment: Character photographs displayed in in-game photo frames were generated/assisted using AI tools. Note: No other AI tools or AI-generated assets were used in any other part of the game or store page.
Generative AI tools are used in a limited capacity during development for coding assistance and early prototyping. AI may occasionally be used to help generate placeholder assets during experimentation and iteration. Any such placeholder content is intended to be replaced with original, hand-crafted assets before release. No generative AI content is intended to appear in the final shipped game.
The game uses traditional in-game artificial intelligence for zombie behavior, such as movement, combat, and player detection. These systems are part of normal gameplay logic and were manually implemented and configured by the developer. No generative artificial intelligence tools were used to create game content such as art, audio, models, animations, or written text.
AI-generated voice technology was used for some NPC dialogue. All dialogue was written, reviewed, and approved by the developer.
AI has been used for code, text, and UI No AI has been used for textures, 3D models, and audio

We use generative AI to create certain marketing assets for the Steam store page and promotional materials. We also use AI-assisted voice generation for some in-game narration/voice lines, and AI-assisted translation to produce localized subtitles and UI text in multiple languages. No player data is used to train these models, and the game’s core gameplay is not generated by AI.
This game includes pre-generated content created with the assistance of generative AI, including some written text, UI elements, and icon artwork. All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. No generative AI is used during live gameplay.
We used AI-assisted tools to help create some visual assets and metadata (e.g., movie cover designs and marketing art). All content was reviewed and refined by our development team to ensure quality and legal compliance.
AI was used only for limited assistance, such as refining some logos, helping with music production, and translating texts into other languages. All core game content — including ships, designs, graphics, 3D models, sound effects, and more — is handcrafted. Overall, the game was created using traditional development methods.
Only the music and sound effects in this game were generated using AI.
Generative AI was used to create temporary placeholder visuals during development. All such content is reviewed, edited, and progressively replaced with human-created artwork.
AI was used as a helper tool for the art production and localization.
- Voice acting modulated from human speakers - Localization and Text proofreading
At the time of release, the final product will not contain any elements created using generative artificial intelligence. AI is used solely for the creation of demonstration graphical content. The final in-game content will be created by human authors.
The game itself was developed without the use of generative AI. During the development and release process, we may use AI-based tools to assist with the creation of certain store marketing materials (such as Steam banners). In all such cases, the final materials reflect the creativity and expression of our own development team.
During the development of Cognitive Fracture, AI tools were used as assistants to support the creation of certain elements, such as text-to-speech voices, cover artwork, some non-interactable objects, and parts of the music. All final assets, design decisions, and gameplay remain the original work of our development team.
Some in-game voice dialogue is generated using AI text-to-speech tools. All dialogue is pre-generated by the developer and ships with the game (not generated live during gameplay). No external AI service is required while playing.
Some in-game and promotional artwork assets were created using generative AI. No content is generated by AI during gameplay.
AI used for generating some riders avatars and description in the store page
This game contains AI-generated music.
Generative AI tools were used to assist in the creation of static game assets during development.
"We use generative AI tools to assist in the creation of concept art, marketing capsules, UI mockups, and store page assets. All AI-generated assets are manually reviewed and edited by the developer to ensure they align with the game's artistic vision."
I used generative AI tools to create various 2D art assets used in the game, including character concepts, background textures, and UI elements. Additionally, the store page assets, such as the capsule images and library artwork, were generated using AI and then manually edited/refined to fit the game's theme.
This game uses artificial intelligence systems during gameplay to dynamically adapt investigation scenarios, narrative flow, and event sequencing based on player actions. AI is used to increase replayability and narrative variation, not to generate player-created content or media assets.
To help with store visuals I used generative AI tools to assist in creating some promotional artwork and banners for the Steam page. All actual game content, gameplay and in-game assets were made without using AI.
Some images in this game are generated using AI.
Some store visuals made with AI assistance.
Some text content prepared in advance, including descriptions and localized text, may be created, translated, or improved with the assistance of AI-based tools.
Artificial intelligence was used to reconstruct partial fragments.
AI was used during development to generate some in-game icons, promotional artwork, and character voice lines.
AI used for some textures
Some visual assets in this project were created or assisted using artificial intelligence tools, including pre-rendered backgrounds, character illustrations, and interface textures. All content has been carefully reviewed and manually refined to ensure consistency with the game's visual style.
AI Has Been Used To Create The Game Capsules and Few images used in game
AI was used to generate voice acting for the antagonist (Nori) and some UI/texture assets. All content has been manually reviewed and edited
