Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game uses generative AI only during development to upscale certain videos. No AI-generated content is produced in real time during gameplay.
This game was built by a solo developer using AI-assisted coding tools throughout development, including for generating SVG code that was rendered into game icons. All creative direction, game design, and visual style decisions were made by the developer. No AI image generation models were used to create artwork.
As a solo-indie developer with no budget, sound was provided for the development of the game.
This game only uses AI tools to assist in generating part of the art materials and plot copy during the development stage. All AI-generated content has been fully manually reviewed, secondary modified and compliance checked. There is no real-time AI interaction function in the game, and no real-time AI response or usage scenarios for players.
Generative AI was utilized in the creation of the promotional marketing materials and capsule artwork seen on this store page.
This game uses AI-generated images for all in-game graphics, promotional materials, and store page assets (with the exception of some licensed UI icons). All generated graphics have been manually reviewed. Additionally, AI (Google Gemini) was used as a development tool to assist with writing code and designing game mechanics. However, the final game runs entirely offline and does not contain any live-generating AI systems.
The in-game character sprites and 2D scene graphics are created using AI and subsequently refined in post-production. They have been labeled during the game review process. Please exercise caution when making purchases.
This game combines AI-assisted tools with original development work. Some art and code were created using AI for assisted illustration and polishing.
Hellforged utilizes generative AI for some of the in-game icons.
During development, we may utilize procedural and AI-driven tools to support content creation/ However, the final product will ultimately showcase the creativity and artistic vision of our own development team
Texture mapping and music sound effects use a little bit of AI
Voice synthesis. All informant dialogue is voiced using Google Cloud Text-to-Speech. Each of the 27 informants has a distinct voice selected to reflect their regional background. Story illustrations. Discovery images were generated using AI image generation and curated by the developer. Game content. Story text, discovery descriptions, and informant dialogue were drafted with AI assistance and edited by the developer. No AI-generated content is produced live during gameplay. All content is pre-rendered and reviewed before shipping.
Translation (it will change in the future)
AI was used as a coding assistant and for assistance with sprite animation. However none of the art was fully generated by AI. All art, be it music or drawn, was originally created by myself, the sole developer, or from open source creators.
This game uses a custom-built local AI language model running entirely on the player's machine via the proprietary GROLAF3D ENGINE. The AI generates all dialogue, actions, and narrative responses from the kidnapper character in real time during gameplay. No internet connection is required and no player input is transmitted to external servers. The AI also powers an optional voice synthesis system for spoken responses. All AI-generated content is produced live based on player input and is unique to each session.
AI Disclosure (Text Content): This game uses generative AI to assist in creating in-game text descriptions, specifically for: Game Concepts & Descriptions: Some fictional game ideas and descriptions within the simulation are pre-generated using AI text models. Manual Oversight: All AI-generated text has been manually reviewed and edited by the developer to ensure it contains no prohibited content and aligns with the game's creative direction. No real-time AI generation occurs during gameplay.
Some AI was used in generating the art used as background in various "personal journal" sequences throughout the game's story arc.
AI tools were used to accelerate game development and localization. No real-time AI generation during gameplay. The game contains a humorous nod to AI culture inspired by the development process.
提醒:本作美术方面使用了AI辅助绘画。
Generative AI was carefully used for structuring the majority of content available in the decks, given the vast breadth of the topics/languages available. However, every piece of information was extracted from publicly available curated sources, where AI was used for the re-writing the facts into questions. Also, in general the distractors (wrong answers) are intelligently chosen at runtime based on similar answers of similar length, however it can occur that certain answer pools where too small for reasonable gameplay. For this, fake answers were generated by AI as well, albeit rarely.
Environment icon assets, unused in the final game.
Some 2D assets were created with the assistance of generative AI tools and further refined by the developer.
Generative artificial intelligence was used to create and improve the game's main logo and some marketing materials (store capsules). All other game content, including models, animations, and code, was developed using traditional methods.
Certain visual assets, including the game’s logo and box art, were created with the assistance of AI tools and may have been further refined or edited by the developer
Generative AI was used to assist in the creation of visual assets, such as textures and UI backgrounds. Additionally, in-game text was refined and localized with the help of AI to ensure grammatical accuracy and a natural flow in English
AI-assisted tools were used for all of the game visuals, audio, and code. No AI generation occurs during gameplay, and no external AI services are used while playing.
Some of the game's art assets were created using generative artificial intelligence.
Generative AI is used for the artwork.
Empetiti: Quest for the Pinnacle uses generative AI as part of the production pipeline for selected images and voice-over/audio assets appearing in the game and some promotional materials. These assets are reviewed and refined by the development team before being published. The game does not use live-generated AI during gameplay. THE GAME IS CONSTANTLY BEING REWORKED TO FURTHER MINIMISE THE USE OF AI-GENERATED IMAGES AND VOICES.
This game was 100% developed using AI (Claude Code by Anthropic) — including game design, programming, balancing, and localization. No AI is used during gameplay.
