Public Steam disclosure research25,380 disclosures tracked
Where do games disclose AI use?
Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across
games, and follow recorded changes.
This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to
statements published on individual store pages.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam.
Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
Players can generate unique lines for stories based on their text input within their adventure. Additionally, the actions and thoughts of the NPCs players interacted with are controlled through Lattice AI Technology, enabling more engaging and intuitive interactions.
I used AI as a creative assistant during the development of this game — to generate ideas, speed up workflows, and support visual and textual content creation.
Examples include:
– Generating concept art for locations, equipment and magical symbols
– Creating stylized icons and background illustrations in an anime-fantasy style
– Drafting and refining text content (including English descriptions)
– Structuring design ideas
All in-game assets used in the build (models, animations, UI, gameplay systems) were assembled manually using UE5 and legally sourced content.
AI supported the creative process, but did not replace core development work.
This game uses AI-generated music and sound effects. These are created using licensed tools and reviewed by the development team for quality and originality. No external AI services are connected during gameplay.
In the early stages of development, localization uses a mix of AI-assisted translation and human review out of necessity. The shift to full human localization is planned the moment the project can support it.
This game was written and designed by humans. Generative AI was only used as a support tool, such as checking language, streamlining text, and optimizing visuals. All creative choices and content come from the developer.
The game uses pre-created images (background illustrations and some in-game items) generated using generative AI tools. All such content has been edited, stylized, and integrated by the development team, and will be replaced before release.
Some of the backgrounds for scenes are AI rendered. Ideally, these are placeholders which will be replaced if the game is well received and further developed.
All images and text in the game are created manually.
I’m making pixel art graphics by hand (in aseprite) and also purchasing assets made by professional pixel art artists.
The content of the game is manually written, imagined and developed.
AI is used for
- coding
- fixing & finding bugs
In some cases AI can be used to produce:
- marketing images (usually I use it as photoshop replacement)
- find grammar mistakes (proofreading)
I keep all AI made content is marked as AI-made with the name of the AI tool.
This game uses AI tools to assist with content creation. Some backgrounds, character sprites, and UI elements were generated with AI and then manually refined to match the game's art style. Additionally, ChatGPT was used to support the writing of in-game dialogue and logic scripting. No AI-generated content is used during live gameplay.
As a small indie team, we use generative AI to boost our productivity, primarily for secondary content such as storefronts, product packaging, billboards, and other elements, along with hand-crafted artwork. Generative AI has also been used for some programming code, secondary text, certain sounds, music, and general creative support. We do not use generative AI to automate core development or large portions of the product.
Some elements of the game, such as character portraits, were created with the help of AI and manually edited by a human. In the future, they may possibly be replaced.
The game used AI-generated technology to produce voice acting for some of its original dialogue. These AI-generated voices are not essential to the normal gameplay experience, and players may choose not to enable them.
This game contains AI generated images and code. All AI generated images are still pictures used to depict in-game people and places, and certain sections of the store page. The AI generated code was used to streamline, update and replace already existing game code. All AI generated content has been verified to prevent any copyright infringement.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools were used solely to generate promotional materials, including images, logos, and store page assets on Steam. No AI is used in gameplay, game mechanics, or in-game content.
This game uses generative AI tools for pre-rendered content only. Music was generated using Suno, and some system text and dialogues were created with assistance from GPT-based models. No live generation or AI content creation occurs during gameplay.
Artificial intelligence has been used to support the development of this game. Primarily for refining in-game texts and generating UI elements. However, all core design, gameplay mechanics, and artistic direction have been crafted by hand. Everstead: Origins is the result of human creativity, supported by modern tools.
# Project 2025 Text-Based Storyboard - Instructions for AI Interaction Functions
1.Dynamic Plot Generation
- Through the built-in **Intelligent Story Engine**, the AI will analyze your choices in real-time and generate unique plot branches. For example, if you choose "Steal the Divine Artifact", it will trigger a suspenseful conspiracy storyline.
2.Custom Instruction Rewriting
- You can click on the plot options or enter free instructions (such as "Make the protagonist suddenly lose his memory"), and the AI will seamlessly integrate into the existing story.
3.Style Adaptation
- Set your preferences on the options page or in the `genres_prompts` (such as "Dark Fantasy" or "Humorous Science Fiction"), and the AI will adjust the narrative tone and events accordingly.
4.Users need to configure the API keys by themselves:
- Currently, the tested AI services and API keys include DeepSeek and the local service of LM Studio.
Rasna does not contain AI-generated creative content.
All environments, texts, dialogues, and narrative elements have been handcrafted by the developers.
AI tools have been used exclusively for technical purposes during development.
In particular, voice-processing tools were used to modify recordings performed by real actors in order to create distinct character voices from the same actor.
No dialogue, narrative, or artistic content has been generated by AI.
