GalactiballSteamAI was used to create textures, some of the code, create a player model and rig it for animation. The sounds of footsteps, goals and ball bounces, albeit mastered, started as AI generated before being edited and mastered. Localization languages were also created by AI. (Therefore any corrections will be welcome) Animations, music, game design, and all other elements of creativity are the work of a human exclusively. Badgerworks Studios will never rely on AI for creativity, music, ideas for games, and once an artist has been hired, AI models either. Due to lack of in-house ability to rig models or create them from scratch, the current player model was generated and rigged (skeleton matched to model) by AI. Animations were hand made, but on the AI created and rigged model. No AI, LLM, of frontier models are being called during game play nor will any introduced features be allowed to do so.
Jumpy vs. ChompySteamWe used AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to assist with game descriptions, promotional materials, and conceptual design. No AI is used in real-time gameplay or for generating assets during gameplay. All in-game content is manually crafted or pre-created.
TowerMouth ISteamSome of the visuals on our store page and some of the 2D illustrations in our game were created with the help of AI-powered tools.
Christmas Night: BrothersSteamSome visual assets and promotional images were created with generative AI tools and later reviewed, modified, and integrated by the developer. No generative AI content is created during gameplay.
PastimesSteamGenerative AI was used during development for translations, some pixel art, and some music. AI-assisted content is human-reviewed before release. The main painting is historical public-domain art. Nothing is AI-generated during gameplay.
Brave Vegetable: Kitchen EscapeSteamAs a solo developer, I used AI-assisted tools to support development, including implementation and some audio-related work. All final content was reviewed and edited by me. Character sprite art is hand-drawn, and the game does not use generative AI while running.
Blastlane RacersSteamGenerative AI was used to assist with the creation of two logos and with the localization of in-game text.
Dodgeball RushSteamGenerative AI tools were used during development to assist with portions of programming and to create selected pre-generated audio and visual assets. These include some character and commentator voice lines and branding artwork. All AI-assisted content was reviewed and integrated by the developer. No generative AI runs during gameplay, and no player input or personal data is sent to AI services.
SkuffleSteamGenerative AI was occasionally used to prototype assets and give ideas\reference for assets. It was also occasionally used to generate normal maps on textures I had created. Sometimes this had disastrous results.
Titan BashSteamMonsterBash includes pre-generated AI-assisted artwork for certain menu backgrounds and between-level illustrations. All AI-generated assets were reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
Retrobot: 2085SteamKey art for store page.
Chief Cenab : ŞahmaranSteamAI was primarily used to assist in the creation of the game's music and sound effects. Most of the music tracks and sound effects were generated using AI tools and then edited and adapted for use in the game. All visual assets, characters, environments, puzzles, story, and gameplay mechanics were created and designed manually by the developer.
Sealcoating SimulatorSteamGenerative AI was used during pre-production to create early concept sketches, used purely as visual inspiration and reference. None of these initial AI-generated images appear in the final game, all art assets were subsequently created and replaced by the development team. Generative AI tools were also used to assist with writing portions of the game's code and with translating the game's text into other languages. In all cases, all output was reviewed, tested, and approved by human developers before being used in the final product.
Gloom DelveSteamGloomDelve's visuals, audio, and dungeons are generated procedurally by hand-written code; calculated geometry, synthesized sound, and deterministic seed-based level generation, not by generative AI. Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with translating the interface into non-English languages. The game generates no content at runtime and connects to no AI service while you play. Every run is produced by the same deterministic procedural systems.
LAINSteamGenerative AI tools were used to assist with English localization.
UNWIELDYSteamAI was used to create some promotional assets, including store capsule images, banners, and other marketing artwork. AI-generated content was reviewed and edited by the developer before use.
Glider64SteamGenerative AI was used to create selected voice performances (including the in-game commentator) as well as concept artwork and promotional illustrations. All AI-generated assets were reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer.
Escape SequenceSteamAI tools were used during development to assist with writing code, and to produce two categories of content shipped with the game: the original synthwave soundtrack (composed with AI music generation, curated and selected by the developer) and the interface translations for the non-English languages (reviewed by the developer). Some store page text was also drafted with AI assistance. All in-game worlds are generated procedurally by hand-written algorithms — no AI content is generated at runtime.
Dead BrokeSteamSome of this game's visual assets (character art, icons, and UI) were created with the help of generative AI tools and were manually edited and reviewed by the developer.
Power Pony DriftSteamPower Pony Drift uses AI-generated content that was created during development, and every piece was reviewed, edited, and curated by the developer before being included: - Character models: The base 3D pony models were generated with AI tools, then hand-rigged, animated, and tuned for the game. - Audio: The music tracks and some sound effects and voice lines were generated with AI audio tools. No content is generated while you play — the game contains no runtime AI systems, AI chatbots, or live-generated content. Store page artwork is composited from in-game footage.
DirtnapSteamGenerative AI tools were used during development to assist with the creation of game content. All final content was reviewed and refined by the development team.
Stacey's Demise - A Prequel to I FORGOT TO TAKE THE CHICKEN OUT OF THE FREEZERSteamArtificial intelligence was used to create the graphical assets for this game: capsules, logos, etc.
Couch PVPSteamThe development team was assisted by AI in writing and debugging code. Some sounds were also created using AI.
LightboundSteamOur team uses generative AI tools to help develop certain elements of the game.
Kachow Kart RacingSteamSome promotional capsule images and a limited number of in-game background artworks were created with the assistance of generative AI tools.
SoulsrunnerSteamThis game uses generative artificial intelligence as a supporting tool for the creation of some visual and graphic assets, such as the game icon, logo, promotional images, main menu artwork, buttons, and certain visual or typography styles used within the game. All AI-generated or AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and manually selected by the developer before being included in the game. Generative AI is not used during gameplay to create real-time content or to dynamically modify the player experience.
ChonkBlockerSteamPre-generated AI tools were used during development to create the game's soundtrack and sound effects, and to assist with portions of its application icon and promotional key art. Those assets were selected, integrated, and reviewed by the developer. No AI content is generated during gameplay.
Panel PanicSteamClaude Code was used to scaffold most of the Rust code for this game, and the art assets were built from prompting latent diffusion models with human hand drawn sketches and text prompts.
TaivalSteamGenerative AI was used only to assist with localization/translation partially. All localized text was reviewed and edited before release. No AI-generated content was used otherwise.
Shadows of ImalorSteamMost art has been hand-crafted but some art has been assisted by generative AI. Art assisted by generative AI includes UI Icons, monsters, items and marketing promotional art. All ingame art has been finalized by hand.
Thugz VS ZombiesSteamSome Assets, SFX, BGM and Artwork were used in the making of this game.
World on a PlateSteamThis game contains assets made with generative AI technologies
Perfumed PalacesSteamClaude Code, Codex, and OpenAI ImageGen capabilities were employed during the research, compiling, and marketing of this product.
Cat's WarsSteamAI was used to develop some of the musical compositions.
TankFall ArenaSteamTankFall Arena contains certain pre-generated assets created with the assistance of generative AI tools during development. These assets may include promotional artwork, visual elements, audio content, and music. All AI-assisted content has been reviewed, curated, modified, and integrated by the developer as part of the game's overall design and presentation. TankFall Arena does not generate AI content during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services while the game is running.
Explosive TrackSteamAI was used only to enhance storyboard artwork and loading screen images.
Cat Ball ArenaSteamGenerative AI was used to create ingame voices.
Ball Guys: Merge PartySteamWe continue to draw all game art by hand. Some of our sounds have been generated using a tool called ElevenLabs. We use a wide range of co-development tools to help optimise and test the code in our minigames. We have used tools like OpenAI to help with localisation of our content to other languages.
Chrome SurvivorSteamWe have some assets made with AI that we are still working on replacing. Replacing these is our top priority!
Ultimate Blacksmith TycoonSteamThis title was developed with substantial assistance from generative AI.[Store Assets — Visual Content]The key visual, store capsule images, library assets (including the library hero), and certain screenshot backgrounds were produced using image generation AI ("Midjourney v7 / Niji v7") under a commercial license (Standard tier).[Source Code, Game Design, and In-Game Text]The C++ source code, data structures, system architecture, gameplay mechanics specifications, in-game text, item naming conventions, job names, and skill names were developed in collaboration with conversational AI ("Claude" by Anthropic and "Gemini" by Google).[The Developer's Role]Quench Forge handles concept, product vision, product management, final specification decisions, hands-on PIE (Play-In-Editor) testing, bug reports, and release decisions.Code generation, code review, test design, system architecture, game mechanics specifications, in-game text, and marketing materials are all created in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google). Every AI-generated artifact is filtered through the developer's "appraiser's eye" — selected, approved, and revised through specification feedback — before being incorporated into the product. This game applies its own core theme — "an appraiser-shopkeeper who reads materials and Modifiers to forge the right blade" — to its own development process.[Runtime Behavior]No generative AI runs during gameplay. All in-game mechanics operate on compiled, deterministic algorithms (with optional reproducible random seeds). The game does not require any online connection to AI services during play.
