AI has been used to generate some of the logos for the fictional companies/websites and some of their content
By My Side is developed by a small independent studio, and we use generative AI as part of our content pipeline: - 3D models — many in-game models (crops, props, buildings, devices and characters) are generated with Meshy AI, then adjusted, scaled and integrated by hand. - Music & sound — parts of the soundtrack and sound effects are created with AI audio tools and curated by us. - Localization — translations are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed before release. All AI-generated content is reviewed, edited and curated by the developer before it ships. No generative AI runs live during gameplay — everything is pre-generated and fixed.
Generative AI was utilized exclusively during development to assist with writing and optimizing code. The game does not contain any AI-generated art, music, or other in-game assets.
AI tools were used to assist with concept art direction, store artwork iteration, written content, UI text refinement, and creative planning. All final content was reviewed, edited, and implemented by the developer.
Claude was used to help with the programming and Steam leaderboard stuff.
Some environmental assets and 3D models in EvoX were created with the assistance of AI generation tools during development.

Visual Textures: Select environmental and surface textures within the game were generated or enhanced using AI-driven imagery tools to assist with look-development and texture mapping. All AI-generated content used in this project has been fully pre-rendered during development, reviewed for originality, and contains no live or real-time generation during gameplay.

Some of the background music in Hold It In comes from a commercially-licensed third-party music pack bought from itch.io ("Hell Metal Songs" by thc555) that was created with AI-assisted music tools. All other audio (voice, sound effects), all art, and all game code were created without generative AI. No AI-generated content is created live during gameplay.
AI used for some inventory items and for images on the game's store page, and edited with a graphics editor.
Partial game source codes, texture assets and store promotional artwork are created with generative AI tools. All AI-generated contents have been fully manually reviewed, modified and optimized by the developer before integrating into the final game build. No AI content is dynamically generated during gameplay.
