some music and images
The drone images on the website and Steam game page, (not used in the actual game), were generated by AI. The Symbology of the in-game tactical display was generated by AI under close human supervision and iteration. The music in this game was not generated by AI.
The voice of R.E.I.K.A, the AI companion character, is generated using AI text-to-speech technology same as the voice lines of the end dialogue; all other game content — code, art, design, and writing — is handmade.
Starscrip uses short-form in-game text content that was created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence. Player facing marketing content, like release notes, may also be created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence.
Most of the 2D art in Abys Orbit is AI-assisted, generated with Google Gemini during development. Ship and NPC sprite sheets begin as Gemini concept images, are converted to 3D meshes with Meshy.ai, and are then rendered to 2D sprites in Blender. One dashboard background is a NASA public-domain photograph revised with AI. All AI-generated assets are reviewed and edited by us before shipping. The following content is NOT AI-generated: rank insignia (drawn by hand in Adobe Illustrator), the Scout ship model (a commercially licensed 3D asset rendered in 3ds Max), UI and research icons (licensed from CraftPix under their commercial license), two NASA public-domain images, and all audio, which we produced ourselves. No AI-generated content is created at runtime; all generation happens during development.
This game's localization (including English text) was created with the assistance of AI translation tools, reviewed by the developer. No AI-generated content is created live during gameplay.
This game includes some AI-assisted visual assets and synthetic voice generation for the in-game robot advisor.
Some visual assets in Kron Wars — including spaceship designs, environment artwork, and promotional videos — were created with the assistance of generative AI tools. All AI-generated content has been reviewed, curated, and integrated by our development team. No AI is used to generate gameplay content, in-game text, or player-facing decisions at runtime.
During development we used generative AI in a few places. A large language model helped write some of the game's text (in-game descriptions, events, and store copy). The music and many of the sound effects were created with Adobe Firefly, while some other sounds are generated in real time by the game's own code. The app icon was also created with Adobe Firefly. The in-game graphics are drawn procedurally by the game's code and are not AI-generated. Nothing is generated by AI while you play: every AI-assisted asset is created during development and shipped as a fixed file. The generative AI tools used (Adobe Firefly) grant commercial usage rights.
Code: I'm a solo developer and I use AI coding agents. The architecture, game design, systems, and direction are mine; the agents write code to my spec, under my review. That includes the UI, which agents build from my own designs and styles. 3D art: Made by a professional artist. No AI. Music and SFX: Currently placeholders, licensed from Ocular Sounds, who state their sounds are crafted from original source recordings by their in-house sound design team. To be replaced with commissioned work. Writing: Written by me. AI agents help me edit and apply corrections; I approve every word that ships. A professional writer will be brought on as development continues. Illustrations: Not in the game yet. They will be commissioned from professional artists.
This project is human-led and human-authored. The core concept, research direction, cultural framing, interactive decisions, visual judgement, source selection, and the final content of the work were all determined by me. AI was used as a supporting production tool, mainly for: debugging Unity and C# errors; suggesting code structure for prototype scripts; organising local folders and repository structure; searching for public references and technical resources; and drafting editable documentation outlines that I then reviewed and revised. AI was not used as an autonomous author. It did not decide the research direction, cultural interpretation, aesthetic intention, or final meaning of the work. AI-generated text and code were treated as working material - selected, edited, corrected, rejected, or rewritten. The personal reflection was written by me; no AI-generated text is presented as personal reflective writing.
This game uses pre-generated AI content for a small number of UI button press sound effects created during development using ElevenLabs. These audio assets are included in the shipped game and do not generate dynamically during gameplay. The game does not use live generative AI to create player-facing content while the game is running.
This game was developed using generative AI during production. Generative AI was used to create the game's code, artwork, visual assets, user interface, music, sound effects, and text. All AI-generated content was reviewed, tested, curated, and integrated into the final game by the developer. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
This game used AI to help quickly iterate through designs for some UI elements using our own artwork as a baseline. AI is used to generate sound effects AI is also used to help translate the game.
After the creation of assets by an artist, the team used gen AI to generate backdrops for assets, and general backgrounds. Gen AI was used to amalgamate artist created assets into grouped assets. E.g. the aliens which were created by the artist are then rendered together by AI for a promotional image. This means only the back scape mainly promotional artwork and character backgrounds were generated by AI.
Generative AI tools were used to help create some of StarFrame's content: certain promotional artwork on the store page, and some in-game text such as tutorial instructions and item descriptions. These were reviewed, adjusted, and finalized by the development team manually.
The game's concept, worldbuilding, narrative, game design, and art direction were planned and developed directly by the development team. Generative AI was used as an assistive tool in the production and refinement of pre-generated content, including character and environment imagery, cinematic sequences, anomaly effects, and selected music. All content, including AI-assisted outputs, was curated, edited, composited, and post-processed by the development team to align with the game's creative intent and quality standards. The game does not use generative AI at runtime, and no player input or personal data is sent to AI services.
Astral Outpost was built by a solo developer working with AI tools. Some visual assets ( mostly marketing ) including the key art seen on the start screen and store page were created with generative AI and hand-finished. In-game text and its translations were drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the developer. Nothing is generated by AI while you play: every piece of content in the game is fixed and human-reviewed before it ships.
The team uses AI to speed up workflows such as coding and other difficult tasks
Some promotional key art (store capsule illustrations and website artwork) was created with generative AI tools and then curated and edited by the developer. All in-game content - graphics (procedural vector rendering), gameplay, text, and audio - is hand-authored. The game does not generate any content with AI at runtime and does not connect to any AI service.
AI-assisted art tooling used for promotional graphics only.
AI tools are used to assist in development, including code, writing, art, and sound effects
Generative artificial intelligence has been used to create store page thumbnails based on the developer's scene work. Generative artificial intelligence has been used by the developer to improve the performance of the developers code to achieve incredible in game performance with respect to voxel mesh rendering and voxel lighting calculations. Thanks to the contributions of gen ai Star Journey performs beautifully even on laptops that have no dedicated GPU.
The game's design, game systems, balance, and English narrative are human-developed. AI tools were used during development as a coding assistant, with any recommended code changes specified, reviewed, and tested by the developer. The Japanese localization was produced with AI assistance and hand-edited for nuances, idioms, and accuracy. AI tools were also used for grammar and spell checking. No content is AI-generated at runtime.
The story and game design are an original creation of the developer. AI was used as a tool to produce certain fixed visuals (store page, logo, illustrations), in order to faithfully represent the game's artistic vision. No content is AI-generated during gameplay.
Space Planet Explorer uses generative AI to create assets that ship with the game, including planet surface textures, cinematic sequences, voice narration, and music. All of this content was generated during development — no AI content is generated live during gameplay. Planet visuals are AI-generated interpretations based on real scientific data, not actual NASA photography.
AI has been used to adapt the cover art to Steam's specific dimensions and requirements.
Galaxor uses generative AI tools to support the creation and revision of selected visual content, including icons, artwork, banners, store graphics and marketing materials. Generated content is reviewed, selected and, where necessary, manually adjusted before being used in the game or on the store page. No live-generated AI content is created during gameplay.
Some of this game's Steam store and marketing art was created using AI image-generation tools. Specifically, the store capsule images (header, main, small, and vertical capsules), the library artwork (library capsule and hero image), and the logo background were AI-generated. AI was used only for this promotional store art. All in-game content — pixel-art sprites, backgrounds, UI, animations, and effects — is made from licensed, human-authored pixel-art assets and contains no AI-generated content. The game's audio and gameplay contain no AI-generated content.
This game includes some AI-assisted music and Steam store marketing assets created during development. All such content was reviewed and integrated by the developer. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay, and players cannot generate AI content within the game.
Some promotional art assets and in-game artwork were created with the assistance of AI image generation tools. All AI-generated output was reviewed, edited, and curated by the development team before inclusion.
Some of the background images were generated using AI and subsequently improved by the developers.
This game includes live-generated AI features that run locally on the player's computer and do not rely on external AI services. The game uses AI to: - interpret the player's spoken voice commands in real time to support gameplay interactions; - generate voice audio for in-game pilot communications in real time. The AI systems are used exclusively for these gameplay functions. They do not generate user-visible images, text, or other open-ended content. The game is designed so that AI-generated output is limited to its intended gameplay purpose and cannot be used to create illegal, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.
It was partially used for depicting space backgrounds, BGM performance, multilingual translation, and metal light source effects.
The game has AI-generated content - Images in the banners on the page - Images during the game - Translations and editing support
This game uses text-to-speech to generate character voices, image-to-3D tools to create ship models, and image-to-video tools to produce cinematic sequences you may encounter during gameplay. AI-generated content has been used to enhance and enrich the in-game experience.
AI used to assist in code development.
Galactum Meridian was developed with generative AI assistance under direct human creative direction. AI tools supported coding, writing, design exploration, production workflows, and selected visual and promotional assets. All material was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer. The game does not use live generative AI during gameplay.
Some assets *may* be AI. These assets were secured from a third party and I cannot confirm this, but if that's the kind of thing that bothers you, you may want to steer clear.
We developed the game with AI assistance for graphics, coding, and music. All AI assets are pre-rendered and static.
Some assets are generated by Meshy.ai
AI-assisted tools were used in a limited capacity during development, in line with modern creative production workflows, to help create the game’s cover artwork and certain in-game illustrations. All AI-assisted materials were manually reviewed, edited, refined, and adapted by our team before being included in the game or on the store page. These assets were not used in their original generated form. The game does not use live generative AI during gameplay.
Some visual assets in Singularity Echoes and on this store page were created with generative AI tools during development, then reviewed and edited by the developer. This includes artwork for buildings, celestial bodies, and the Earth strategic map, as well as menu and store marketing imagery. Gameplay systems, UI logic, balance, and narrative text were implemented by the development team. The game does not use generative AI to create new content during play and does not connect to third-party AI services while you are playing.
Code written with AI assistance. Use AI to generate descriptions for planets.
AI generated Orion and Ibis artwork. Narration audio is ai generated. AI created the original Steam store capsule art and overlayed by a human artist.
VoidCraft uses generative AI in two ways. During development, AI tools assisted in creating written content that ships with the game (lore, item and research descriptions, mission templates, NPC flavour text) and in exploring marketing artwork concepts; all of it was reviewed by the developer before inclusion. During gameplay, two features generate text live using large language models: the optional in-game Advisor, which analyses your empire and offers strategy advice in character, and contract mission briefings (titles, short stories, and NPC names) on station contract boards. Players cannot type free-form prompts into these systems - the AI receives only structured game-state data assembled by our servers, and every output is validated server-side before it appears in the game. Core gameplay (combat, economy, progression, rewards) is governed by deterministic game rules, not by AI.
Graphics and game code partially AI generated
We operate as two-man team, soem of the graphics and sounds effects were generated with AI.
