Generative AI was used to write, edit, and translate text on this Steam store page. It is not used during gameplay, and no AI-generated images, audio, or in-game assets are included.
AI was used in the generation and editing of code and to edit the script for the dialogue present in the game.
Some background music tracks were generated using Suno AI. All other assets are human-made. No AI-generated content is created live during gameplay.
Storepage placeholder assets
Generative AI tools were used during the development of this game and in the creation of some of its visual, audio, and technical content. AI was used to create and refine the background, logo, and related visual elements. AI-assisted tools were used to create and prepare some of the sound effects. AI-powered coding tools were used for code generation, autocomplete, and development assistance. AI-generated designs were selected, edited, and enhanced for use in some of the game's visual content. Some visuals were selected from AI-generated designs and subsequently enhanced and upscaled. All AI-generated or AI-assisted content was reviewed, selected, edited, and adapted by the developer before being used in the game.
AI is used lightly for certain UI elements and other development workflows.
CrystalCanvas uses generative AI in parts of its development process. For the sound effects played when placing voxels, we aimed to create sounds that remain pleasant and unobtrusive even during extended play sessions. After exploring a variety of sound assets and recordings, we ultimately used generative AI as part of the sound design process to achieve the desired result. Generative AI is also used as a development aid through Claude Code for generating and assisting with parts of the code related to voxel space management and rendering. Generative AI is not used to generate the voxel artwork or gameplay content itself.
NDP features some AI generated narrations, sounds effects and background music.
The in-game BGM is generated using AI.
This game uses generative AI for music, such as BGM, and for UI.
Artificial intelligence was used to assist with interface localization and adaptation of in-game textures. There was a time when people used Google Translate, and terrible localization for many languages was common. Times have changed, progress does not stand still. Today, new and more advanced tools have emerged, and people now use them instead of outdated ones.
The game does not use AI while you play. Every sentence and every drawing you see in a match is made by the players in the room with you. Some assets in this game were created with generative AI during development. The music was made with Suno as to avoid in copyright issues for streamers/clippers who play the game. Several pieces of cabin furniture and set dressing were generated with Meshy, and the logo and one in-game painting came from OpenAI image generation. The game's 13 language translations were AI-assisted.
AI is used for placeholder and interim assets only. Nothing is generated while you play.
Generative AI was not used to create any gameplay visual nor sound asset. The only generated asset is the enhanced game logo (the game name).
Generative AI was used to create artwork for the in-game How to Play instructional image. All other game artwork and visual assets were created by the developer.
This game uses a few assets purchased from FAB which may or may not contain AI-generated content. I have personally done my best to scrub AI out of those few purchased assets. There are also two images and two short instrumentals, and that's it.
Generative AI was used in parts of this project: the animated story cutscenes were brought to life with AI tools from original artwork drawn by the developer; the game's music, most of its sound effects, some in-game images such as the main menu, its logo and some promotional material, the store-page translations, and the English and Turkish in-game text were also created with generative AI tools. The gameplay itself — its systems, characters, environments and screenshots — is authentic and shows the real game. No AI is used to generate content during gameplay.
During development, we used Google Gemini AI to assist in generating narrative elements, such as item descriptions and quest lore. While the core story and world-building were meticulously designed by our human team, AI helped us expand the depth and variety of in-game text. All AI-assisted content has been thoroughly reviewed and edited by our developers to ensure quality and consistency.
We integrate artificial intelligence solely as a creative assistance tool during pre-production and artistic exploration phases. Specifically, we use image generators to produce preliminary concept art, explore different visual directions, and accelerate iteration on our graphic ideas. AI serves only as a source of inspiration, while the entire final content is fully created, curated, and refined by our human team. Generated images are never used as-is in the final product. Every visual element in the game (textures, characters, environments, illustrations, etc.) is recreated, retouched, painted, recomposed, or manually validated by our artists to ensure: originality of the content, respect for copyright, artistic consistency, and compliance with Steam/Valve guidelines. AI does not contribute to the generation of final assets, 3D models, animations, sounds, or any other elements directly integrated into the game. Its role is strictly limited to providing visual references, aesthetic guidance, and starting points to help our team work more efficiently. This approach allows us to maintain a strong and authentic artistic identity while benefiting from a more fluid, inspiring, and innovative creation process — directly reflected in the quality, coherence, and originality of our game.
We use AI as a technical tool to support our human developers. While all of our 3D game models, environments, and core game art are hand-crafted by our artists, we use AI to assist with 2D rendering and localization. For 2D promotional art, AI is used to composite, light, and polish images based strictly on our original in-game assets. We also utilize AI-assisted translation pipelines to help localize our massive world into multiple languages for our global community.
Yayoi Kaihatsu, the developer, takes full responsibility for the use of generative AI in this work. If any issues arise regarding the use of generative AI in this work, please contact the representative of Yayoi Kaihatsu via the Steam Community or other channels. Generative AI is used in this work according to the following policy: ・Code generation and tool operations related to game development ・Translation of text used on the store page and in-game (original source is Japanese)
Generative AI was used to translate some in-game text, such as the interface and the contents of letters, and to generate some of the music used in the game.
We use generative AI to translate in-game text into multiple languages. Generative AI is not used to generate content in real time.
Wishing Well Simulator uses generative AI tools during development only; nothing is generated while you play, and the game never connects to any external AI service. Pre-generated content made with AI assistance: Key art and store artwork were created with generative image tools and then edited by hand. The 3D well model was generated with an AI 3D tool (Meshy) and reworked by hand (materials, UVs, textures). Translations into 21 languages beyond the original Turkish were produced with AI-assisted translation and then reviewed by hand, including platform terminology corrections. Some secondary text (credits, tutorial hints) was drafted with AI assistance and edited by the author. Written by hand: the story, all 119 events, the characters and dialogue, the game design and code. Sound effects are procedurally generated by the game's own code (no AI); the game has no music or voice acting.
Generative AI may have been used in creating pre-rendered content for this game. All such content is the result of a human-led artistic and creative process
Generative AI was used to create some temporary artwork for the Steam store page and related marketing materials while the game is still in production. These assets are reviewed and curated by the development team and WILL be replaced with final production artwork before release. Generative AI is not used to generate content during gameplay.
Primarily used for coding
We use generative AI to assist with writing and localizing the game's text. All art and audio are procedurally generated by our own code or sourced from CC0 libraries. No content is generated by AI in real time during gameplay.
Coding assistance is used for developing the game. Building automation test suites and creating support tools.
I used AI as an aid for a few things: parts of the writing, the translations into French, Spanish and Italian, and some of the more complex store artwork. Everything that came out of it was reworked by hand before it went in. It isn't something I'm a fan of, but as a solo developer without a studio behind me, some things are simply out of reach otherwise.
I have used generative AI tools to assist in the creation of the character Elara's artwork for the capsule and for the in-game voiceover. All other aspects of the game are entirely handmade. No generative AI is used during gameplay.
During game development, we used AI tools to assist with the creation of some visual art assets and to support programming work.
The game's menu interface and Steam store page assets (capsule images and other promotional artwork) were designed with the assistance of an AI-based design tool. All other art, environments, characters, and audio in the game were created without the use of generative AI.
AI tools were used as part of the game's visual production and post-production workflow. The game's 3D assets, environments, characters, animations, and scenes are created and rendered by the developer. AI is primarily used to upscale lower-resolution renders to higher resolutions, helping reduce rendering time while maintaining the desired visual quality. In some cinematic sequences, AI-assisted tools are also used as part of the production process. Additionally, AI may be used for certain visual corrections, modifications, or minor fixes to rendered images instead of re-rendering an entire scene. AI is therefore used as a supporting tool in the development and post-production process, while the overall artistic direction, 3D production, scene creation, rendering, and final implementation are handled by the developer.
In some screenshots on the store page, I used AI in order to show more clear image. In the gameplay, the artificial intelligence is not used.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist with the creation of selected promotional and visual assets. During gameplay, an AI-based analysis service may also be used to evaluate submitted player-created clay sculptures and determine how closely they match the given challenge.
Localization of simplified chinese and spanish were generated by ai. No artwork or sound were made by ai to my knowledge.
Generative AI tools were used during development to assist in creating and refining some pre-generated visual assets, including selected in-game backgrounds. All AI-assisted content was reviewed, edited, and integrated by the development team. The game does not generate content using AI during gameplay.
Generative AI tools were used during development to create initial concepts for background music tracks and 2D loading screen artwork. These concepts were heavily reworked, re-edited, and finalized by human artists before being integrated as static files into the game build. Players who prefer a completely traditional experience can completely disable all AI-assisted art and music via a toggle in the game's settings menu. This game does not use any real-time or live generative AI. No content is generated dynamically during gameplay.
During the development of Valdivia AllStars, we used generative artificial intelligence tools to assist with specific parts of the content creation process. These tools were primarily used to assist in the creation and exploration of certain visual assets, including concept art, visual references, textures, and some graphical elements used during the development of the game. Content created with the assistance of these tools was subsequently selected, modified, adapted, and reviewed by our team before being incorporated into the final product. Generative AI was used as a supporting tool for our developers and artists, rather than as an autonomous system for creating the game. Character and environment design, gameplay mechanics, programming, 3D modeling, animation, content integration, and the overall artistic direction of the game were created and supervised by our development team. Valdivia AllStars does not use generative AI to dynamically create content during gameplay, nor does it require players to submit content to be processed by generative AI systems.
AI was used to create textures, some of the code, create a player model and rig it for animation. The sounds of footsteps, goals and ball bounces, albeit mastered, started as AI generated before being edited and mastered. Localization languages were also created by AI. (Therefore any corrections will be welcome) Animations, music, game design, and all other elements of creativity are the work of a human exclusively. Badgerworks Studios will never rely on AI for creativity, music, ideas for games, and once an artist has been hired, AI models either. Due to lack of in-house ability to rig models or create them from scratch, the current player model was generated and rigged (skeleton matched to model) by AI. Animations were hand made, but on the AI created and rigged model. No AI, LLM, of frontier models are being called during game play nor will any introduced features be allowed to do so.
The 3D models of the cakes were made with AI
During the development process, we may use procedural- and AI-based tools to assist with content creation. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.
Used for some 3D assets and textures.
AI tools were used during development to assist with the creation of certain 2D visual assets. Specifically, AI was used to generate some images used on the Steam store page and to assist in creating character portrait artwork used in the game. These AI-generated assets were reviewed and incorporated into the final game by the development team.
Certain visual assets and sound effects in this game were created with the assistance of generative AI.
During development, we used procedural and AI-assisted tools to analyze, merge, refine, and polish systems that were originally developed through years of our own experimentation, iteration, and hands-on exploration. These tools accelerated implementation and helped unify complex ideas beyond what would have been practical through manual development alone, while the underlying concepts, creative direction, design decisions, and final implementation remain the work of our development team.
Parts of this game's text were produced with the help of generative AI: the store description, and the translations of the in-game text into German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese. The English and Turkish text was written by hand. No AI-generated art, audio or voice is used anywhere in the game, and the game does not generate anything while you play.
AI was used to produce placeholder UI components & sprites (e.g. icons, npc sprite, spell sprites).
The Rumble Pit is made by one person, and generative AI tools were part of how it was built. Music: the tracks you hear in the menus and in the twelve dungeons were generated with a local AI music model, from a written brief for each place, then cut, looped and mixed by hand. 2D art: the interface icons, the class and specialisation emblems, the dungeon thumbnails, the illustrated boss backdrops and the logo were produced with image generation tools, then cropped, cleaned up and colour-matched by hand. Text and code: much of the in-game text — talent names and descriptions, loot labels, boss briefings, the translation tables — and part of the source code were drafted with an AI assistant, then edited, tested and rewritten by hand. Not AI-generated: the 3D models and animations (licensed art packs), and the sound effects (CC0 libraries). Nothing is generated while you play. The game connects to no AI service and produces no new content at runtime — everything ships as a fixed file, checked before release.

These AI-generated assets were reviewed and incorporated into the final game by the development team. | Evil Bunneh Inc. | - | Aug 22, 2026

KINETIKA Dev only | During development, we used procedural and AI-assisted tools to analyze, merge, refine, and polish systems that were originally developed through years of our own experimentation, iteration, and hands-on exploration. These tools accelerated implementation and helped unify complex ideas beyond what would have been practical through manual development alone, while the underlying concepts, creative direction, design decisions, and final implementation remain the work of our development team. | Senshi Games | - | Aug 22, 2026
Pitchside Empire In-game content text | Parts of this game's text were produced with the help of generative AI: the store description, and the translations of the in-game text into German, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese. The English and Turkish text was written by hand. No AI-generated art, audio or voice is used anywhere in the game, and the game does not generate anything while you play. | Bombastik Studio | - | Aug 22, 2026
Pierce Through Heavens In-game content art | AI was used to produce placeholder UI components & sprites (e.g. icons, npc sprite, spell sprites). | Purple Yang Studio | - | Aug 22, 2026
The Rumble Pit In-game content arttextaudiocode | The Rumble Pit is made by one person, and generative AI tools were part of how it was built.
| Elliott Faucheux | - | Aug 22, 2026 |
