Search developers’ Steam disclosures, compare classified AI use across games, and follow recorded changes. This index adds cross-game classifications and statistics to statements published on individual store pages.
Code help, debugging and other development work.
Capsule art, trailers and promotional material.
Pre-made art, audio, writing and other game assets.
Interactive or runtime AI features disclosed by the developer.
Groups reflect automatic analysis of public disclosures; mature records are excluded. These counts do not measure AI use across all of Steam. Missing or unclear statements cannot establish whether a game uses AI.
This game uses pre-generated AI-assisted content for certain promotional artwork, visual assets, and audio materials. No AI-generated content is created during gameplay.
Generative AI tools were used during the development process to assist in writing, optimizing, and refining C# scripts in Unity, as well as in the conceptualization, texture generation, and editing of 2D visual assets and user interface elements.
AI-generated voice acting is used for some NPC dialogue. All gameplay mechanics, level design, and core game content are handcrafted.
Some assets on the store page are created with AI assistance.
AI was used ONLY to: - Create the soundtrack - Help with repetitive coding tasks
Some of the English text content and translations in this game were created with the help of generative AI tools. All text has been reviewed and edited by our development team to ensure accuracy and educational quality.
The game itself is made entirely by human hands. All in-game art, music, sound design, and writing are created or directed by human authors without generative AI. All gameplay footage shown on this store page is real, captured from the actual game. Generative AI is used for some marketing materials — including promotional images, social media assets, and capsule art — to support a small independent studio's marketing within budget constraints. These AI-generated images are intended to represent the game's existing hand-made art style. No AI-generated content is shipped inside the game itself. If Echo Pandemic recovers its development costs, capsule images and marketing material will be replaced with commissioned human work.
Generative Artificial Intelligence used in this game includes: - Sound Effects (SFX) - BGM cover (AI covers based on medley composed by Author) - Refining textures, icons
This game includes some visual and audio contents created with the assistance of generative A.I. All content included in the final release was curated, edited, and integrated by the developer as part of the creative process. The game engine and logic is 100% human created.

Apart from the back end for the gameplay, AI is used for all visual and audio assets.
During the development process, procedural- and AI-based tools were used to assist with content creation. In all such cases, the final product reflects the creativity and expression of our own team. We do not knowingly use any AI-generated content that infringes on existing copyrighted works.
New Science uses generative AI as a core part of its discovery system. When a player attempts a combination, an AI model may be used to determine whether the two selected objects can logically produce a new result. Generative AI is also used to create an illustration for newly discovered objects. Known discoveries are stored and reused, so the same established combination does not need to be generated again for every player. This system allows New Science to support open-ended experimentation beyond a small, completely predefined recipe list. Players may therefore encounter newly generated combinations and images that have not previously been seen by the development team.
Some game’s art and community assets were created with AI tools.
A few in game images and the cover were AI generated using Microsoft's Co-Pilot AI. Nothing in game involves AI. The enemy patterns are enemy movement behavior logic like the old days. In time I might make the images myself. This is just saving me a lot of time. I am not a studio, just one dude.
Ingame textures and images.
AI was used to generate a few minor quest item icons. All other assets, code, and character designs are handcrafted or licensed.
AI tools were used during development only for pre-generated content, including concept/reference artwork, store assets, music/audio drafts, and localization or translation assistance. The game does not generate AI content at runtime. Players do not interact with any live AI system, and no text, images, audio, or gameplay content is dynamically generated by AI while the game is running. All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer before release.
Some visual assets and minor content elements were created with the assistance of AI tools and refined by the developer.
Some visual assets and promotional materials for Frozen Christmas Magic: Santa’s Hidden Village were created with the assistance of generative AI tools, then manually directed, selected, edited and integrated by the developer as part of the game’s artistic production pipeline. No real-time generative AI is used during gameplay.
AI tools were used to assist in creating some store page descriptions and promotional graphics. The game itself does not use AI-generated content during gameplay.
Foundation Typer uses generative AI-assisted artwork, voice, and cinematic media elements for certain visual and promotional content, including portions of trailers, character presentation, and store assets. All gameplay systems, lesson structure, progression design, typing mechanics, interface functionality, and core training content were created and assembled as part of the game's original development.
This game used generative AI tools during development to assist with the creation of some 3D modeling and audio assets. During gameplay, AI does not generate content or code, and the game does not rely on real-time AI systems.
Some elements of this store page uses generative AI
Visual AI assets were used to fasten the development process, with caution and help of art direction to keep the sketch art style consistent and avoid being another AI slop game.

This game contains selected content created with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools. This includes certain 3D models, textures, sound effects, and graphical assets that were generated or processed using AI technology, and subsequently reviewed and integrated by our development team. Generative AI was used as a supplementary tool in the creative process - all content has been manually reviewed, adjusted, and approved by human developers before being included in the game. We do not use generative AI to produce content in real time during gameplay.
The game features AI-generated images as some store assets and some in-game artworks.
Regarding the AI disclosure, we would like to clarify the specific scope of AI usage in our game: 1. Asset Generation (Pre-generated AI Content): We have utilized generative AI tools exclusively for creating static assets. Specifically, AI was used to generate in-game icons, background images, and the store page assets (capsule images/banners). No real-time AI generation occurs during gameplay. 2. In-Game CPU Behavior (Non-AI): The NPC/CPU behavior and logic within the game are strictly controlled by standard programming using conditional statements (if-then statements) and random number generation (RNG). No AI or machine learning models are used for the gameplay mechanics or enemy logic.
This game includes pre-generated AI-assisted content created during development, including portions of visual art, audio, and code. All final in-game content has been reviewed, edited, curated, and integrated by the developer. The game does not use live-generated AI during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services.
During the development of Hell Cleaners, AI tools were used to create early concepts and references to help explore the visual direction of the game. All final art assets that ship in the game were created, painted, or reworked by hand by our art team. No AI-generated audio, voice, or narrative text is used in the shipped product. We believe games should be made by humans!
AI-assisted tools were used to help with some in-game translations.
Bugs in the code were located via AI.
The only AI-assisted visual assets in this game are several paintings used as images for the puzzles. These images were heavily edited, refined, and manually adjusted using photo editing software before being integrated into the game. The background music and some SFX sounds were also generated with the help of AI and later slightly refined and adjusted in audio editing software. AI is used strictly as a supportive tool during parts of the creative workflow. Final quality control, artistic direction, and implementation are fully handled manually by the developer.
This game utilises Google's Gemma4 E2B large language model to generate narration text based on human-curated datasets.
Some pre-generated visual assets and development materials were created or assisted using generative AI tools, including AI-assisted development workflows. These assets are reviewed and selected by the developer before being included in the game. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.
Localization was done in large parts by AI.
Some artwork assets including achievement icons and store capsule art were created with the assistance of AI image generation tools (PixelLab). All AI-generated content was reviewed and curated by the developer.
AI tools were used during the localization process and then manually reviewed by a human. All in-game and promotional art was authored by a person and not made with generative AI.
All text content was originally written in pt‑BR (Brazilian Portuguese) and localized into other languages with the assistance of AI tools. This localization extends beyond the game itself. All creative assets were created by humans, such as audio, visual, and other content developed by our team or licensed from third parties.
