AI were used to assist with translating text into multiple languages.
AI was used to development and map creation for faster development speed.
Some store and promotional artwork for Nothing Remains has been created or enhanced using AI-assisted tools. All gameplay systems, mechanics, and in-game content are fully original and developed without the use of generative AI.
Some of the promotional and storefront images were created with AI tools and then refined by hand. All of the in-game assets were designed by a 3D artist.
Some visual assets used in the game's store presence (such as capsule images) were initially generated with the help of AI tools and then significantly modified and refined by the developer. No AI-generated content is used during gameplay. All in-game assets and mechanics are handcrafted.
Building a game of this scale as a solo indie developer is a gigantic quest. To bring this vision to life, I utilized AI to help manage the immense development load. I have used AI to help create placeholder assets as visual guides to get the final look and feel, some initial base assets that have since been modified to be game-ready, and, in some rare cases, game elements that did not require further polishing. I have worked hard to ensure the overall quality is as high as possible, given the limitations with funding, personnel and time. What wasn't made with AI: The core game design, idea and execution. Some of the game code, performance optimizations, final polishing, and most final assets. Additionally, some of the development tools, such as the terrain optimizer/generator, targeting, turret, and explosion systems, have been under development as personal hobby projects for nearly a decade. The game was completely visualized, balanced, play tested, and designed by people (the fun part). What is heavily AI-generated: Audio: The audio concepts and prompts were written by me, generated using AI algorithms, and then manually polished where needed. Real human work was required to orchestrate, mix, time, and fit these audio clips seamlessly into the game. Some textures: In a few rare cases, a generated texture was used "as-is" and did not require any additional post-processing or optimization of any kind (excluding cropping or some basic photoshopping).
Icons used in the UI in the game, Steam achievement icons and Steam Store Assets are made with generative AI art.
Generative AI was sporadically used to create initial references and placeholder assets, which have been or will be replaced with hand-crafted content during production.
"Generative artificial intelligence was used in the design and production of some 2D entities (icons and sprites) within the game."
We use generative AI tools during our development process to assist in the creation of certain visual assets, such as concept art for environments and base textures for some 3D models. All AI-generated content is meticulously refined and integrated by our team to ensure it meets the artistic standards of Quantum Fight: Aero 2299. Our goal is to use these technologies as a support tool to enhance the game's atmosphere while maintaining full creative control over the final experience.
A small number of visual elements in this game have been created using generative artificial intelligence. These AI-generated images are limited to a few specific artworks, while the vast majority of visuals, as well as all gameplay, story, and mechanics, are crafted by professional artists and staff.

Generative AI is used to assist coding and for generating code that creates audio files.
This game uses generative artificial intelligence to create skill icons, the title screen background image, and a very small portion of UI assets. These elements were used as supportive tools during development, while the overall game design and gameplay experience were directly designed and implemented by the developer.
The graphics in the game and the store, as well as the music, were created using Nano Banana and Suno AI.
This game uses AI for generating some in-game graphic assets, translations, and promotional materials.
AI was used to assist with language translation and the generation of certain images and music. All final content has been reviewed and refined by the Yajirushi Studio team to ensure quality and an authentic player experience.
Voice overs, translations and character busts are currently being handled by AI. As a budget limited studio, we want to have everything in place before an artist to work on. These placeholders would reduce the amount of back and forth, rework and hours invested. Everything is directed and supervised by humans. Voice overs and character busts will be completely replaced by the work of artists by the 1.0 release.
AI Content Disclosure (Or: Why Your Eyes Aren't Bleeding) Steam requires me to formally disclose that I used AI tools to help create the visual assets for this game, and honestly, you should be thanking them for it. My personal artistic abilities peak at drawing lopsided stick figures, and if I had to hand-draw the assets myself, this wouldn't be a co-op horror game—it would be a tragedy. To spare you from my awful programmer art, I used Meshy AI to generate the 3D models and Nano Banana Pro to handle the textures. The gameplay, the panic-inducing 90-second timers, and the terrifying undead Grandma mechanics are all me. The art, however, was assisted by AI as a public service to protect your eyeballs.
Some store visual assets (promotional images and capsules) were created with the aid of generative AI tools and manually edited. Sound effects were generated using ElevenLabs API and music was created with Suno AI. Translations for languages beyond Portuguese, English and Spanish were automatically generated and reviewed. All game code, gameplay, level design and in-game sprites were manually created.
Hi, fellow players! While developing Flavor Legend, I used AI to assist in generating some character models, art textures, animation videos, background music, and ambient sound effects. All these assets have been manually reviewed and revised. The core gameplay, story, and all interactive experiences of the game are entirely original and created by me, with no AI-driven NPCs or dialogue features used. If any copyright disputes are found in the future, I will adjust and replace them immediately. Thank you for your understanding and support!
During the development of Heavy Mental, we utilized Meshy AI to assist in creating base 3D models and textures for several character assets and environmental props. Every asset generated through AI has been manually refined, rigged, and animated by our development team to ensure it fits the game's unique stylized art direction and meets our quality standards. Our use of AI is limited to the pre-production phase to streamline our artistic workflow.
Text-to-speech tools were utilized to generate the quick voice-over announcements during a match.
Some game assets and store page artwork were created with AI assistance.
Developing Aevalore solo meant tackling a massive project on my own. To manage the 500+ sprite sheets required, I used generative AI for the artwork (most hand polished for finish) and 90% of the music. Some of the music was made by a friend and me. This allowed me to pour all my energy into coding the 81-ability system, 12+ unique characters and crafting the world. These tools didn't replace my vision; they made it possible for a solo dev to build it.
