The project makes use of AI as a support tool in the creation of Steam banners and marketing assets, especially for refining colors and lighting. This assistance is crucial because our designer is color-blind (yes, daltonic), and AI helps ensure that the visual presentation maintains the intended impact and consistency. In this way, technology complements creativity, guaranteeing banners that are both aesthetically appealing and effective for promotion.
This game contains visuals enhanced by AI.
Localized for Accessibility To make our stories accessible to as many players as possible, we have used AI-assisted translation for French, German, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Turkish. As a small team, we have worked hard to provide the best possible context for every scene, but we know AI isn't perfect. If you encounter any awkward phrasing or errors, please let us know! Your feedback helps us improve the experience for everyone. Report Issues via Steam Discussions or Support Link
This game uses generative AI tools to assist in the creation of certain art assets and narration voices. All AI-generated content has been carefully reviewed, edited, and integrated by the developer to ensure originality, consistency, and compliance with Steam’s content rules.
An LLM was used for some text, marketing and video backgrounds.

Ai voiceover for the trailer
Some artwork and assets (like images) were made with generative AI during development. No AI generates live content — all gameplay is static, hand-curated, and fixed at release.
All 2D characters in the game are fully created by our 2D artist. Currently, the interactions between characters are generated with the help of ChatGPT. Additionally, the book story has been edited for grammar improvements using ChatGPT. In the future, once we secure funding or generate income from the project, our artist will create all character interactions manually to ensure the highest quality and authenticity.
AI was used to create some unusual visual assets and makes up less than 0.1% of the entire game.
Voices (Audio) and Translation From Engligh are made using AI.
Some of the backgrounds for scenes are AI rendered. Ideally, these are placeholders which will be replaced if the game is well received and further developed.
Some content within the game and on this Steam page, including text and images, has been generated or enhanced with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools. All materials were reviewed and refined by the development team to maintain quality and align with the game’s creative vision.
This game uses AI-assisted tools for fact-checking and content verification.
The major portion of the stories in the game is fundamentally human-made. See below for details. All raw graphics are generated using AI. Subsequently, manual work is performed by our developer, including composition revisions, visual detail correction, and color synchronization of images. For Graphics For all stories, raw graphics are generated by AI. Depending on the image structure and complexity, one to three hours of manual graphics work is required to achieve the final result. For Stories Magical Cats: After the images are created by artificial intelligence, we use our natural intelligence to imagine and write appropriate stories for each image. Since these stories make little sense as they are intended to. Moon Shade Tarot: After the images are created by artificial intelligence, the core story concept and event for each card have been devised by our developer. AI is then used to expand and rewrite this content for narrative fluency and readability. Missing Velsoro (Rangers Under The Moons): The story, characters, and narrative are written by our writer. Some adjustments are done by our developer. The images are composed of multiple raw images to match the story. To improve fluency and enjoyment for native speakers, artificial intelligence is used to perform final grammatical and stylistic corrections on all of the stories. Please check the respective DLC explanations for similar usage details regarding their content.
• A local LLM powers the Intent Recognition System for voice command interpretation. It is also used in select situations to generate custom dialogue responses to the player's voice & text input. • Pre-recorded dialogue is personalized by processing through Piper TTS neural speech synthesis that generates the personalized version in real-time. • Speech to text transcription is powered by OpenAI Whisper STT. All AI systems run locally on the user's system with no online component.
Some code and design decisions, aswell as store page assets were lightly assisted by AI tools. All game logic and implementation were written, reviewed, and tested by the developer.
All of the images in this game and its store page are AI generated. The story and narrative design are my own.
Some marketing visuals and a few in-game elements were generated using artificial intelligence tools, then refined by our team. As a small independent studio, we used these tools to compensate for limited resources and deliver a higher-quality experience, while ensuring the artistic direction and overall coherence of the game were preserved. All content was selected, adapted, and integrated by humans.
Some illustrations in the game generated by AI, whose license allows commercial use of the results. AI used only for rare illustrations or manipulation of photographs taken by the authors themselves. No AI was used to write any texts.
AI was used to create translation, some game item icons, avatars and backgrounds for news. All locations, monsters, characters and items, as well as all original texts are created entirely by human artists.
Some images, text and code was AI generated before being reworked.
Some background and UI art was generated with generative-AI tools and then hand-retouched. No AI is used for voices or gameplay code
All assets, voices, music, characters, and story in this game were created by humans. However, AI tools were used for some decorative textures and minor details. Although their use is minimal, they are visually present and may bother people sensitive to this topic. If you're someone who feels uncomfortable with AI or is bothered by its use in video games, we kindly recommend taking this into account before purchasing.
The AI integrated into Amma: Chronicles of Lost Stars is not used to generate random content or replace artists. It is mainly used to optimize certain gameplay mechanics and improve the behavior of Nzuri spirits and enemies, making confrontations more tactical and unpredictable. All narrative, visual and sound content remains entirely manualy created by our team of artists and narrative designers. AI is only used to enhance fluidity and depth.
While in the development and public demo / playtesting phase, the game is temporarily using AI-generated voiceovers. Upon full release, these will be replaced with human performances and there will no longer be any AI content in the game.
Capsule Art, Store images and 3D Models.
Valhalla Awaits uses AI-generated visuals and music, carefully selected and refined to match the game’s tone and ensure stylistic consistency. These elements are designed to enhance atmosphere and readability during repeated playthroughs, but are not essential to gameplay. Both music and background imagery can be disabled in the settings for a more minimalist, text-focused experience. All writing was created by a human, with later use of AI tools for proofreading and clarity improvement.
